so getting this straight, ride features: 1. Green lantern themeing 2. 2 tunnels between the corkscrew (sorta like the ditch-to-ditch corkscrew on montu) 3. everything chang had to offer 4. no flash pass (boo!) bonus: a movie of the green lantern is coming out, I don't know what the green lantern is but I remember the name. Plus a movie will highten the asvertizing and shed some light on who the green lantern is. GREAT MOVE great adventure, great move.

has anybody noticed this, wicked twister is over 200 feet tall, and wind seeker rises quite high above it id say that you're placing a star flyer maybe 300 feet in the air with pilgrims plunge rated harnesses, and anyway the poles will be more sturdy than the chains and are probably needed for that hight look at how you tower over the wicked twister -

and this is why restraints fail in the first place, there are six reasons i found 1. some idiot decides remove his seatbelt cause of some reason (friend dared him or something) 2. maintenance doesn't test restraints cause they've working properly for a while 3. size and or weight 4. improper check by staff 5. idiot doesn't listen to safety information or doesn't bother to read signs on how to ride properly (keep your head back, arms down, and hold on) 6. freak accident there is only thing i found similar about all of these except #6, they are all avoidable! -

Most Americans are worried to the point that if one thing screws up, than every thing else in the same industry is as well. Example: perilous plunge, in news reports a woman was thrown out of the ride. what was not mentioned was that the woman weighed 350-400 pound and the ride produces close to 1.3 negative gs. having 400 pounds pushing up on the restraint was spelling disaster, the restraint was a five point seat belt and a lap bar, and only failed that one time. in order to calm people down the park was forced to replace the lap bar with a restricting harness (otsrs.)Now el toro is wooden runs at the same or steeper angle and used only a lap bar and nothing has happened yet, it was a freak accident that caused the random release of the restraint. on a different note very few people know that non inverting coasters half the time produce more negative forces than a looping coaster and don't necessarily need shoulder harnesses, but others just don't learn. -

Blue fire at Europa Park proved that all intamin needs to do is take off the strap part of their restraint and leave the lap bar. Now that would be awesome. -

B&M hypers have lap bars with out a seat belt even and they pull some nice negative g forces. I believe they would work perfectly in place of the trains on every B&M looping (excluding inverts, stand ups, and floorless) roller coaster (yes I'm talking to you wildfire.) -
Underrated Coasters?
crazywolf88 replied to Yero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
either alpengeist or apollo's chariot at BGW, they were a huge adrenaline rush and had quite seriously no line to it and i mean second in line for front row or back.griffon is way overrated but it draws the lines away from the real rides. lines are short for this lines are really short for this -

why would they be building those huge supports at the factory they would need five trucks to ship this in one piece. -
the anaconda one just seems like a waste of money, a proslide tornado looses its momentum even as the funnel tightens to give riders that vertical thrill, the anaconda will mke you go vertical ONCE and only ONCE, the rest of the slide will lose momentum very quickly and become an extremely boring ride that will only send you, what 10 degrees on the turns due to the diameter, a tornado costs rough guess 15 to 16 million dollars, but this will cost 25 to 30 million, be a waste and still use crappy family raft tubes instead of newer tubes that whitewater fails to make, I think Ive made my point.
