One thing you could is ride the rides a millon times so you can memorize the layout. Or you could google it and after looking through a hundrend odd pages somebody would have a blue print posted somewhere because they don't release them for whatever reason. Once I saw the California Space Mountain model in the Disney Gallery. I don't know the layouts of those particular rides, any other rides you have a layout question about?

I think the whole reason for it was to keep people from crowding around Paradise Pier during WoC. So even when the hype around WoC dies down, having GF in Paradise Pier will make that area crowded at night. If that ever happens I think Hollywood would become a ghost town at night.

Unless they add a new killer thrill ride. That would spice the place up a bit.

In Nov, Dec, and Jan when the sun goes down at 5pm Ive gotten plenty of night or dusk rides. So us nightime screamin fans would have to plan are trips in the winter from now on, as long as that fountain show is there.

I think Goliath's drop is force-less too. At least in terms of negative g-force in comparison to other hypers.

Wow, Cedar Point with the biggest collection of attractions, not to have a ship swing ride. I figure they would just move it to another spot in the park.

I really wish they at least open screamin' during WoC because IMO is one of the best roller coasters to ride at night. And it would be extra cool with WoC going on at the same time.

I have waited in line for colossus a couple of times with a really long wait in the last couple of years. And I wish they were running both sides. And it was one train operation that day.

^The resturant and gift shop is a great idea. They should do that, just think of the view you get while having lunch.

It doesn't mean the park is getting a new coaster. They could just do a rehab or re-theme for superman. Though I assume all of us are wishing for a new coaster.

That too. I don't think I have ever heard anyone say "The Escape". Unless it was an advertisment.

^ I think it would be too weird to have the sign say "Superman: the Excape" twice when it could just say it once, and the other time just say "Superman", because the reader would know they are refering to "Superman: the Excape".

I remeber when they use to have the wave machines running. And when you are waiting for the launch you would sometimes get wet when the water crashes into the rocks. Of course a few people complaind and destroyed the fun for everyone else.

Aparently if you have an SUV, your back seat is worth alot on the black market.

So how would crowd levels on weekends in september be? Right now I have a vist planed on saturday september 11. I expect not bad at all, because it is the week after labor day and also it's 9/11. But any way I assume Invertigo usually has the longest line so I plan to get that out of the way earily in the morning. This will actually be my first ever visit to the park despite being a coaster enthusiast living in southern california, I just never had the oportunity to swing by. Though I had visted Santa Cruz a few years back for a few hours on a family road trip. I also have a plan to stop by Discovery Kingdom the next day so I can get both parks down in one trip.

I know how many episodes are there of Man vs. Food total. It is practically on 12 hours of it on every day, every day. For all I know when that guy dies of a heart attack they will replace him with someone else and continue on. I remeber 10 odd years ago there use to be way more shows on theme and amusement parks, at least there seemed to be. BTW I love this show, just because Bert is just so obnoxious. And just seeing him going on all these rides screaming his head off like he is going to die.

Thanks a lot for showing those Geauga Lake pics. I wish I made a couple more visits those last couple of years. I would give alot money for one more ride on Villan, which I thought was one of the best woodies anywhere. I really do miss that park.

The Big Thunder Mountains from what I know are manufactured by Arrow or Vekoma. And last I check they were smooth. Also if you want to add Everest to that pool.

Wasn't the park planning a GCI before the whole 49rs stadium issue came up. I remember hearing how the first drop/turn was going to go around the star tower. And the bulk of the ride was going to located in between the theater there and Xtreme Skyflyer. And I think I had saw a computer animation for it at one time.

When I got a fastpass for WoC opening weekend. I had a birthday party to go to in Mission Viejo. So I for one didn't stay in the park all day. Of course I was a little late for the party because I wasn't expecting the hour and half line. I understand that alot of people who mabey don't have passes or live out of town would have a problem. But it worked out perfect for me, expecially because d-land was along the way to and from my house to the party.

So it has now been cut out. When I was there we went on it and then we went around the Kong building. I guess if they were going to keep it, they would have the tram go around another circle there and take up time.

^^I actually visited the park on the day of the last World Cup Final. And I don't remeber them playing it anywhere in the park. Its not like Soccer is that big in here in the states. You could always check out the computers in the Cyber Cafe.

I was there 3 weeks ago (before kong opened) and it was working that day.

^And is a good break from the sun. I agree that next year's project should be a GCI or at least a woodie.
