The only way that I'm able to make any sense of this ride is that it's some sort of powered coaster. Maybe not in the traditional way, but maybe with some "powered sections"?? Shall be interesting to se for sure!

Watching people complain because their homepark only has 6-7 coasters and they haven't recevied a new one in 5 years really drives me crazy sometimes. Try living 7 hours (by car) from the closest amusement park with adult rides!! Anyone still want to complain??

Would be great to see these trains installed on many of the old Arrow/Vekoma coasters, they really are great! My experience with these trains on the boomerang at Walibi Holland was really positive!

GCI was my first thought as well, although we cannot tell for sure. Interesting layout though! Edit: After looking at it again, it definitely looks a lot like Prowler. I was looking at it the other way around, with a possible Renegade-style first drop, but after a second look I think it's the first drop that is marked with Zone 1C.

Tusenfryd posted a video on facebook with pictures from the testing. They still have some work left to do with scenery and theming, but it's starting to look good. I wasn't really excited about this when it was announced, but as it's starting to come together it's looking like it will be a very good ride. No official opening date has been set, but someone said in the comments "Hope it's ready by the end of June" and Tusenfryd replied that it probably will be. Yes, Superman: Tower of Power at Six Flags St. Louis was relocated from Six Flags AstroWorld after the park closed in 2005. It seems to be the only Intamin Drop Tower that I'm aware of that has been relocated. It'll be neat to see what happens to either the S&S power tower or the Intamin drop tower. Pitt Fall @ Kennywood? Don't know if it has been rebuilt elsewhere or not, this is the only information available on wikipedia. But yes, I would not be surprised if this were to be followed by the removal of one of the other towers (obviously not the StarFlyer).

They seem confident, Kolmården posted a video on facebook an hour ago with the text "10 days left".

Actually it looks like I am wrong. The park website says there will be only 8 seats. ^2*8=16 The Swedish version specifically says "2 gondolas with 8 seats each".

I never thought I would be this excited for a coaster where the minimum amount of time it would take me to get to the park is probably around 6 hours if I travel by the fastest possible way! Luckily they actually do have long days up there! No kidding, sleep before midnight is practially impossible LOL!

I'm so in love with that light package! Particularly the glow that follows the car along the track, such an awesome and unique idea! Would love to see it on more coasters!

Because this park didn't have enough tower rides LOL! (picture from TPR park index) But yeah, definitely an awesome addition that will make a fantastic park even better! Hmmmm that might not be a bad idea....

95 meters is what Gröna Lund posted in their "April fools" post on Facebook (which turned out to not be April fools) LINK I don't know the details about the Star Flyer, but I'm guessing that maybe the listed height of 121 meters also includes the spire on top, and that the ride portion of the tower is not that tall...??

So this will make it four tower rides for Gröna Lund then: - 80 meter Intamin 2nd gen drop tower (with one standup/tilt car) - 55 meter S&S Combo tower - 121 meter Starflyer - 95 meter Falcon Fury style drop tower And all crammed together in one little park. You just gotta love what Gröna Lund is doing!

Today has been a great day, but yesterday was absolutely amazing. Temperature in the 26-27 degree Celcius range and clear blue skies. We are not spoiled with great weather on the Norwegian west coast, so the city was super crowded as everybody was outside to enjoy the great weather. I also managed to snap a beautiful sunset pic taken at 10:18 PM. Whole city was outside enjoying the amazing weather Sunset at 10:18 PM

Layout looks pretty good, and it's definitely a big step up from previous efforts, but it looks like they still have some way to go to produce a decent-quality ride.

Estimated temperature in my apartment: About a million degrees! Sleep tonight will be a challenge...

Fantastic weather today, warm but cloudy so it didn't feel super hot. Perfect! But it's not easy to convince your body that it's time to sleep when it's close to midnight and this is the current level of darkness outside...

SpinSpider at Tusenfryd does not feature a light package. But then again there is no need for it since Tusenfryd is never open after dark. Heck, most of the operating season it doesn't really get dark, at least not until very late at night. Fantastic ride though!
