  1. I'm curious about these seats as well. I saw them while in line for Havoc during the passholder event. I'll try and take a picture next time I go and see if anyone can figure it out. I saw those as well. They are actually seats from one of the original KUKA arms. If you do a quick Google image search for "kuka", you will see the purple and orange color scheme. Oh wow, thanks! Very interesting!
  2. Thanks! Anybody have any idea what those coaster seats I mentioned are from? I just found it interesting. I use a canon 7D.
  3. Absolutely, all the pics have such great view points on so many different things, great to see! I had an extra question that perhaps somebody could answer. While I was in line for Havoc:Dogs of war, the first time through I noticed that behind the fenced off area off to the left (final zigzag, its during the approach to the house backstage behind MIB) there were two seats on the ground. They were purple and orange, yet they were OTSR seats, with almost a Vekoma slc look to them. They looked old, and I was wondering if there was some sort of generic coaster theme they did some where, because I can't think of anything they would actually belong to. I tried to get a picture but by the time I went back, it was to dark, any body have any idea?
  4. Awesome Reviews and pictures so far! I'd have to say so far Legendary Truth was one of my favorites, along with Hallowed Past. I have really liked all of them so far this year, but it will be interesting to see how much changes through out the event. I'll post a few more pictures of my experience of the event, just to triple cover how awesome this event really is! I loved the event, and I can't wait to go the next few weekends. My g/f has never been and isn't really into scary "things" so I can't wait to bring her! Awesome Costumes as always! Watching them scatter into the crowd was priceless! Watching people run in fear never gets old. Look out behind you sir! Wait no, look out right next to you! I'm glad I got a good look at them in the light, I love the outfits/costumes. Fear is pretty epic, I just wish he wasn't as limited as he is. Is there room for artsy pics at such an intense event? Of course there is! I was King and my Girl friend was Queen one night of Mardi Gras parade, so it was awesome to see zombies in the same costumes! I'm glad she was out again, always entertaining! Don't you just love the light beaming through the tree's on such a gorgeous evil night? What can I say, Fear is an awesome icon! Nothing to see here, just sweet lighting. Jack being as cool as ever. Sup Brad? Another (out of order) amazing costume... Fire is always pleasing. I'm sorry for posting so many pictures of there epic lighting designs. *nerd shot* Nobody would bring this poor pilgrim anything to drink! Crazy zombie! At least they don't have to modify this place to much to fit the theme! Not sure they got the memo, the event started a few hours ago.... That awesome lantern theme that was everywhere! One last shot of Fear. Take car sir, you are awesome.
  5. Awesome PTR! It was a pretty awesome night and you got quite a bit of it, can't wait for more! This year was pretty awesome, the only disappointment for me came from BIll & Teds, but I'm not sure if that's 2010's fault or the shows. All the houses were def. epic, I have 2 more to get done! The event was awesome though, I can't wait to go back and visit!
  6. Opening night tonight Heading there right after class! Hope to see you all there!
  7. I just RSVP'd for Friday the 24th! I can not wait! That stuff looks freaking awesome! I wish I could go to the park and see it one more time before it all starts, but I just don't have time. First day off in 16 days is Friday and I still have class that day haha!
  8. The moved my test on saturday to friday...fortunatley I think its going to be at 1pm, so hopefully I'll still be able to make it to the park by 3 or 4. I was worried, because he wanted to do it friday night at 9. I'm RSVPing to the pass holder offer if anybody is down to meet up!
  9. Wow thats awesome, I did not know about the preferred pass thing either! I know I'm still pretty new here, but I'd love to meet up with anybody who will be doing the pass holder thing as well. I know for sure I'm going to be there friday, probably spend the afternoon at IoA just to get a spot in the garage and everything. So for this Pass Holder thing, I just need to have my actual pass on me and just show up?
  10. I remember going one sunday night and the place was empty...it wasn't as fun. I love all the chaos and crowds. That jaws experience sounds awesome haha. I really hope that HRRR does get up and running for the event with some updated songs, perhaps halloween music (Movie themes). I can't wait for Friday!
  11. Last year was the first year I attended, and Mummy was in fact up and running. The line got a little bit long most of the nights, but it's a nice break. Last year the only rides open were MIB, Simpson, Rotm and Jaws I believe. It was nice when it started to rain, we would just go hit up a ride till it stopped. I'm really wondering if the HRR thing is unrelated and just a refurb before hhn like mentioned above. Something still sounds very weird about it, but I guess we shall see.
  12. ^That was definitely a bonus last year! I had never done jaws at night and I'm a huge fan of the classic rides. If you don't mind getting the potential lap full of water, that far left edge provides awesome views. Jaws only had a 5 minute wait, so we thought we'd try it out and it's something I'm definitely going to do again this year. As far as HRRR goes, no telling how long it will actually be down for...but I do know earlier this year they did install a net on that over bank (treble cleff?) element. That could be what it's for, but they would need quite a few more. The line for all three of those main houses (last year being Wolfman, Dracula, and Frankenstein) go right underneath the track. Off topic a little bit, but can anybody confirm or deny the rumor of HRRR updating the tracks, quite possibly with more music? I also noticed the last time I rode it (a week ago) some touch screen panels had a red frame, others had yellow. Could they possibly have been already replacing the screens or am I just now noticing the different colors? p.s.Sorry if this post is too long or irrelevant. I want to contribute intellectually to the boards with out responding poorly. Thanks for any advice!
  13. I attended the event around 7 or 8 times last year, and I do not recall HRRR ever being open. I got there when the event started, and was usually one of the last to leave. I remember once I was in line for the Dracula house, and they were sending cars through...but they were dark and empty. Perhaps it was on one of the weekends I did not attend, but I also avoided Friday and Saturdays, so maybe they ran it then. I hope it is open this year, so people will go wait in line for it and not the houses Seriously though, I really do hope its open...because night time rides on HRRR are pretty awesome. Looking out over everybody waiting for the Chicago concert to start was sweet looking. I can't imagine riding it at midnight and looking out over the event, especially on the first mcbr. Roughly 5 more days!
  14. Wow, awesome videos! I really liked the teaser, and the second one was an awesome insight with clips of how epic the event really is. Every time I read this topic I get so pumped for next week! Edit-- My friend invited me to the Team member preview, would it be worth going to check out? I heard that its not as good as later on, but I really want to check everything out, any advice?
  15. Looking awesome! Can't wait till more is released and some serious progress is made. I usually enjoy everything that disney does.
  16. I was there as well on saturday, and most everything was covered up. The tribute section was there but was all blacked out as well. I was there earlier in the week and everything was uncovered. I'm wondering if they had it covered up for rock the universe? (I got to work with the Dan today in class, the guy who did the William Shatner last year in Bill & Teds, and the narrator for the Grinch show. Great guy! He is bummed he can't be in it this year)
  17. Went to the park the other day to check out some of the pre set up and the working water vortex on Poseidon. More importantly, purchased my HHNFFP(plus) which I couldn't be more excited for. Unfortunately right now, I'm in the middle of 16 straight days of class, but my first day off since labor day happens to be the 24th. I can't wait to go several times this year, I know opening night will be crazy busy but I'm so excited for the event to open. Thanks for all the updates, Fear looks pretty awesome.
  18. Awesome TR! I have not been in a few months, I'll def. have to go back and check out the HHN set up, I loved that last year! I didn't think today was going to be very good, I'm heading home (back to FL, was visiting family and g/f in KY) but when I saw your pictures of the water vortex on, I was so excited! I have done that tour so many times just hoping that maybe one day I'd walk in and they would have fixed it. I've already got a trip planned with my friend thursday, thanks! Great pics!
  19. Those videos are sweet! Last year when I got the FF pass, Opening weekend was crazy, but on the sundays, weds, and thursdays weren't bad. Especially early on and around park closing, half the houses had 5 minute-20 minute waits. That was last year mind you things could be different and it could be much busier. I'm not gonna get it, just because I can go so often and I don't mind long lines. (I don't feel like dishing out the extra dough either, I am in college) Although I felt dumb waiting 2 hours for Saw house opening weekend last year and then that next thursday I walked right in.
  20. I am Kind of bummed about rocky horror, I had a feeling it would not return this year. Maybe next year (I'll get over it, but I shall def. miss it) I can not wait. The stories and themes sound amazing, I love the thought they put into it, and looks like we'll have a bit of everything. Having the theme and a fright zone dedicated to fear it self, which I guess now is an actual thing, sounds amazing. A figure that is fear, is going to be awesome. Everything sounds top notch, and I love they did not do a full on reunion, but I can't wait for the tribute areas. btw, turns out my schedule re opened for friday opening night! I know it will be crazy busy, but I'm getting the frequent fear pass and will be going on a lot of sundays so I have time to see it all. I can't wait for the end of this month! Anybody else going opening day?
  21. ^ ya, I agree. I remember there being quite a bit to piece together last year, clues to all the houses and all that. I do like all this LT stuff, and the lantern bit is really cool. I Can't wait for what ever is announced tomorrow!
  22. Millennium Force had misters in the station back when I was there in the last week of June and I honestly can't remember which kind of seat belts Magnum had. Are you referring to the misters on the track that were cooling the wheels? I also noticed that when I went in July. If he saw them in June, seems like they were there all season I guess. I was completely against the idea of any kind of flat ride coming this year, but the more I think about it the more excited I get. If it really is going to be some where around 400 feet, that will be pretty awesome.
  23. Oh, thank you! I'm not much for following industries or much of anything on Facebook, I guess I should get more used to that. I really loved the cast that were involved in Tribute to Rocky, I would love to see it again, but ah well. Sweet week, Cedar Points announcement tomorrow, and HHN's on Thursday! Looks like I wont make opening night, I have Class 5pm-1am, but I think I'll be good on that Saturday. Can't wait!
  24. I'm not sure where it was mentioned, but I believe I saw a big/main announcement is the 26th? If so I'm very excited to get some more information, I keep scanning over the photos to try and see as much as I can. I was told some information of Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure, and the theme of it. Not sure if it's true but I'm sure it will be awesome no matter what, I loved it last year. Do you think I am getting my hopes up for another Rocky Horror Tribute Show? That was a huge highlight for me, yes I am a huge cult fan of that movie haha. Also, anybody else from TPR going opening weekend? I'm not sure I'll be able to, I'll know by wednesday when my new class schedule comes out. If so, perhaps a small meet up is in order?
  25. This is all awesome! Nice work, I can't wait for this years event. Last year was my first time attending, but I have been trying for years to go, and I've been looking forward to this year ever since last year's event ended! I wish it would get here sooner! Can't wait to get some more clues!
