  1. That wouldn't have bothered me. Its just for me and yes I KNOW I should be grateful for any coaster we are ever given on this earth. I really do. Its just to me Intamin is losing its touch, just my opinion, where companies like Premier and Zamperla are jumping into the "Big" Leagues and making big boy toys. Huh? This is the same company that just built 305 and Formula Rossa two years ago. And iSpeed the year before that. And just based on that one piece of track alone, I'm already betting that this will be the ride of 2012.
  2. Pretty much everywhere in Florida, Dollywood, BGW, Hershey, CW, Marineland, Darien Lake, Seabreeze, Martin's Fantasy Island, perhaps SFOG, perhaps KD, perhaps SFA, and who knows what else.
  3. I love the fact that I'm moving to Orlando in two weeks and this is being built shortly thereafter. I knew there was a reason I was moving.
  4. Why don't they just get it over with and make these parks into Harry Potter theme parks? They couldn't ruin them much more as it is.......
  5. That's what you call outrageous banking.
  6. No offense bud, but Sheikra has had the worst crew at that park for a long, long time. I'm sure you work hard, but I can't say the same thing about your crew mates.
  7. My lowest rated B&M is Vortex at Carowinds. If you don't count the bobsleds and Superman at SFMM, my lowest rated Intamin is Fahrenheit.
  8. It's hard for me to give a solid stance on the airtime thing. I just enjoy airtime, whether it's floater or ejector. The rides that have ejector airtime typically are ranked higher for me than ones with floater air, but I still love both kinds. I tend to like B&M hypers more than a lot of the posters here, but they all have a ceiling as far as my rankings go. Apollo's Chariot is, in my opinion, the best of the bunch, and it's probably never going to get higher than it is now for me, which is #10. That's honestly only based on a back seat ride, too. It's rather average when you ride it near the front. As far as the B&M vs. Intamin debate goes, I'll just say this. In my top 30 steel coasters, 27 of them are either B&M or Intamin. They both make terrific coasters, and both have made some not-so-great coasters. For next year, SkyRush and Leviathan are my two most anticipated rides, so once again, they're in a dead heat.
  9. Le Deuxième Montu. *French laugh*
  10. ^Intimidator's wheels did the same thing, but it had a fraction of the vibrations. It's a mystery to me.
  11. Intimidator's trains didn't shake anywhere near as badly as Diamondback's trains did its opening year. On occasion they would vibrate a little bit, but usually it just needed a new wheel or something small like that. I'm not sure why Diamondback shakes the way it does, outside of theming for the rattler.
  12. Sometimes I wish I lived in Europe. This is one of those times.
  13. ^Wait. You mean to tell me he didn't really ride those rides at Hershey??? I feel so..............fooled.
  14. I thought it was a very interesting clip. It just goes to show that putting these coasters together isn't as easy as a lot of the self-proclaimed "experts" would have you think.
  15. ^I think the kid was joking the whole time. Either way, that might have been the most annoying 3 minutes of my life. If I had a child like that, I would smother him with a pillow and try again.
  16. Superman at SFDK actually looks like a lot of fun, despite the fact that it'll probably have exponentially more downtime than running time in 2012. If I had to go with a ride that really isn't making my excite-o-meter spike, it's probably Wild Eagle, although I still think it'll be a good ride, and the fact that it's at Dollywood just makes it better by default. Verbolten could be hit or miss, it all depends on what type of effects happen inside the building.
  17. The TPR NE Trip, that's easy. But I would say the tip top highlight was nighttime ERT on Boulder Dash living up to its insane reputation.
  18. Thank God. I'll probably actually ride this again if I make it by SFOG next year.
  19. I already posted in this thread, but I'm reposting this in hopes of getting a nice satchel of feces!
  20. ^Yes, it is. It's going to drop vertically and then launch out of the building towards the river.
  21. Thank you a million times over to everyone for the compliments, and thank you for making this my most viewed trip report yet!
  22. I'm eating Thanksgiving leftovers right now, you'll be getting what's left of that in about 4 hours. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the building will look like once they finish it. The structure certainly looks ordinary, but maybe the outside will be themed up nicely (I wouldn't expect any less out of BGW). Agreed about SeaWorld Orlando, I got to catch their Christmas event a few years back and was blown away. I'm really looking forward to seeing it again this year!
  23. ^That was Alpengeist. I was kinda angry that it was traveling directly under me and I couldn't see it. In all the times I've ridden that portion of the Sky Ride with my camera ready just in case it was dispatched at the right time, it's never happened until now when it was pitch black out.
  24. SkyRush, followed closely by Leviathan.
