The only restraints of Maverick, Fahrenheit, and Storm Runner that have ever bothered me were Maverick, but I've also ridden Maverick a TON more than the other two. But with Maverick I was easily able to get a feel for the layout and lean with the turns to minimize neck slappage. And I'm 6'5", so OTSRs are not typically kind to me. But I'm not too worried about the I305 ones since they seem to be a little more forgiving for "guests of unusual size."

^^I think he's a good actor. Never watched him on CSI, so I can't comment on that, but he's always been fantastic in movies. Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, and Ransom all immediately come to mind. His performance as Lieutenant Dan was brilliant, best performance by an actor not named Tom Hanks in that film.

Ok so the comment was made in jest. I should have said a site that wholesale makes fun of them and/or complains about them on a regular basis. --Steve "But enthusiasts DO whine about most everything anyway, just some things more than others" Burant Edit: ^I do agree on all that, except Six Flags and the Busch properties charge WAY more for parking than CF. -

Cedar Fair really getting on the Club TPR chain. Don't they know that this site as a whole hates them? -

Hell to the yeah! I worked there in '07 and '08, and was a team leader in '08. I'm not entirely sure who all is still going to be there from my old days, but you're going to have a blast, guaranteed! ^^Oh, and 99er, that great crew didn't have anything to do with me, did it? -

Those were LITERALLY the same words I used on my facebook status about the lack of Rush. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

I don't think that was the same show, at least it wasn't called that in Orlando. The name of that show escapes me, but they had an incredible saxophone player playing holiday tunes while people were taking their seats and the show ended with a massive gospel choir standing behind the pool. I thought it was spectacular, as did most everyone I heard talking about it on the way out.

I'm not sure if you ever got to see the night time Christmas show they had at SWO (I saw it Christmas '08, don't know if they still had it last year), but it was WAYYYYY better than the Believe show. And I agree with you about the sea lion show, that's been their best show for years, and it's basically never changed.

^^Just blame Dick Kinzel. -
Quick question about traffic on I-5. I found a pretty cheap room in San Fernando and it's about 11 miles down I-5 from the park. Even though it's a Saturday morning, I do realize that this is the greater Los Angeles area we're talking about here. Should I be concerned with what traffic could potentially be like that morning? Or should I try to get a little closer?

I respectfully disagree. They were still good enough to finish 4th in the world, regardless of how far they finished behind in the final race. That alone is cause for celebration, but do you really expect them not to be happy that they won a medal? Regardless of how they got it, there are DQs in every event. Do you think the guy who won the gold because the Dutch skater finished in the wrong lane should have been any less happy about his gold? Had the athletes disqualified been playing by the rules (petty violation or not), they would have won their medal. The US team (or any other athletes awarded medals via DQs) shouldn't feel guilty about winning a medal, especially if they followed the rules and stayed within the parameters of the competition. That's just my opinion. I know if I were an Olympian, I would be overjoyed with whatever medal I got, no matter how I got it. And I wouldn't feel ashamed to fly my country's colors when I won it.

Speaking of Bode Miller, I recently discovered this hidden news clip that shows how he REALLY won gold.

I'm depressed beyond belief that I didn't think to DVR the game. Hopefully it gets replayed.
