Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!

So glad the deal to knock that park down and put up condos fell through. Its a great park for kid and Tree Top Racers is more than just another mouse, its no Captain America, but ... -
First off thanks Robb and Elissa for putting on another great WCB. That said, Knott's destroyed SFMM this year. They put on an amazing event and bent over backwards to make us feel welcomed and make it a great event. SFMM on the other hand took a huge step back, serving us up a very generic lack luster event and serving it ice cold. Of course, TPR always brings the good times no matter what, but it would have been nice for the management at six flags to give this event its due respect and not treat it as just another group picinic. Seriously, if you have not experienced the awesomeness that is Knott's day at WCB you need to check it out. Thanks for everything Knott's. SFMM, shame on you! Thanks again Robb and Elissa, and thanks KT for that cool bruise on my shin.

Knott's day was awesome, haunt announcement or not. I may have slightly enjoyed Knott's more than SFMM last year, but both were awesome. -

Gonna try and make at least one day this year, if my wallet let's me. -
With both events right around the corner, I thought it might be cool to see who's gonna be there. I am doing Knott's and trying to work out going to Universal. Knott's event last year was awesome and this years event looks even better. Anyways, who's going, who's never been to an event, who's thinking about it?

Skycoastin Steve it happened exactly like this, you can't make this kinda stuff up, except for the part where you won a certain contest, that was fake. Thanks Robb, I was hoping somebody was getting a laugh outta this. Honestly I think that wild mouse was the longest wait of any ride on the trip. Brian, you running from the bird may have been the funniest moment of the trip, I thought you were joking and then you just kept walking, LOL! Laura, the clouds kinda working in our favor for the pictures, and being as we were right on top of the coaster, it was hard to take a bad picture.

Ok, Kingda Ka walkback, pretty much we got to walk all over, ask whatever questions we wanted, and take all the pictures we could. After that, I hit a few more rides, got something to eat and drink, bought my kids some souvenirs and got ready for El Toro ERT. Pretty great day at Great Adventure, would like to go back again, but I don't think you can beat a day there with TPR, Robb and Elissa put on one hell of a shindig. Yes, I am soooo friendly it's frightening! Hey, wouldn't it be cool to get a walkback of Kingda Ka? It was funny, cause we got to the ride just after it broke down, so everybody thought we were there to fix it...and we did, with the sheer power of awesome! Follow that train! This hill is here to jam the restraint into you. These people saw us taking pictures and thought they were famous or something. Dude, I'm using a cell phone camera, you ain't gonna be famous! It's no Xcelerator, but it sure is tall. I've done a few walkbacks on different coasters, but none so in depth, and while the coaster was running, awesome! They erected this in 2005 and it's stayed erect for years. We went deep inside Kingda Ka's area, fenced area actually. Nerd shot. I bet you wish you coulda went way back here. It was practically on my face! Not Tatsu. If only this were Knott's Berry Farm. Ok, I understand the thumbs up, but whys he pinching his nipple...Nevermind, I don't wanna know! We are el whoros, for El Toro! Ok, time for me to go home. I am old, fat, and tired and can take no more. Ok, there you have it, the NE tour as it happened, true story. Thanks Robb and Elissa, and everyone else who was involved in making this trip great. Look forward to doing another trip and hopefull meeting up with some of you nitwits again.

Sure, and they need to stop naming things after Disney characters at Disney parks. (sarcasm) Really, does anyone care what the ride is called if it's good? The GP must love it, because of all the things they could have kept, they kept DC, which means people come to the park to ride superhero coasters, and buy superhero merchandise. Which BTW give Disney a minute and they'll be whoring out superheros too. And if I hadn't mentioned it, the op's at Great Adventure were awesome, everybody there was awesome!

Ok, back from break, now for the rest of Nitro. The coaster is L shaped, so we had to head down this road to get to the rest of it. Yeah, it was a "nerd off". We got really close, it was awesome! You shoulda been there. Danger zone! How bout deez nuts?! As you can see the yellow vest has been rejected by the orange group. Tour was over, then the guy surprised us with a bonus tour of Kingda Ka, awesome! OK, that's it for part 2. Kingda Ka walkback up next, and whatever pictures I have from the rest of the day, and then it's over, cause I went home.

Ok, Nitro walkback, this was awesome. I will say that there will be few captions for this section, because they are pretty much all coaster pictures. Also, there are quite a few pictures, but I really cut a lot out, we were pretty much allowed to nerd out all we wanted to. ...and off we go on our photo walkback, even more nerdified by these spiffy orange vests. Footer fetish. Ok, soda break and then I'll upload the rest. This was actually as far as we could go in the direction we were heading, we had to take a turn to see the rest, it's a huge coaster.
