Idk it must just be me but I love T2 now. Well except for the ball smashing kidney bean. I went to the park today. Since I mainly went for pictures for the fansite i only stayed on the waterpark side but i got 4 rides on T2, 2 on GL and then thunder run which I think caused me to get a heart condition after I got off because my stomach was sore for nearly a hour after riding. I went to ride Chang but after getting my customary picture taken with the ride sign we started hearing alot of beeps coming from the station then people got off then I looked up to the short brake run near the end and there was a train stopped there when they usually go through it. It started testing after about a hour or so so idk what happened but I missed out on it -.- Overall this is one of my best visits even though I mainly took pics. I'll post a photo TR soon hopefully

Yeah because you didn't ride anything at Cedar Point. I rode like 12 rides before the storm set in and things were shut down, and since it was late we went ahead and beat the crowds back. The park was packed anyway so getting in 12 coasters was pretty decent. -

I can understand being mad about the park closing rides but I mean come on. The park was barely packed it seems so in the time before they shut stuff down you would have had plenty of time to ride all the rides as it appears to be very small. While I haven't really had any experience with ride closings due to weather except once at SFKK when a sudden storm moved in. I still waited it out. Patiently at that. I mean yeah I could have left ticked off that I only rode 4 rides before the storm popped up and came back another day because of my pass but the common sense answer is why leave if the park will reopen rides. Maybe the rides didn't open right away due to something mechanical or technical caused by the storm but I doubt that is the case. Just leaving the park after 2 rides and 80 minutes im just very confused. -

Like Robb said if you had stayed you would have gotten the park to yourself it looks like. Sorry but you know there is this channel on your TV called the weather channel. Its been known to give off the latest forecasts for your particular area. It's shocking I know because you must have never heard of it. I don't really even understand why your mad. Your mad because the parks shut down the rides for yours and others safety? I don't even understand how this is the parks fault because they followed basic protocol and shut down all rides that are outdoors due to inclement weather. How is this the parks fault because it rained anyway? Heres a great example anyway. You go to a football game. The game starts, in the middle of the first quarter it starts raining. A few minutes later lightning has started. Do you know what happens? They stop the game and send all the players to the locker room. That goes for High School, College, NFL, CFL and other practice sessions. Do you know why they do it? For the players and coaches Safety. If it was a indoor arena then the game would continue. Bottom line stop blaming the park. Blame yourself for being unable to look at the weather forecast and deciding that 40% usually means it will rain. -

Well compared to other woodens I've ridden, legend is pretty tame for me. -

Tame rides? Have you ridden Voyage? Ok thats 1 ride out of all the other rides there. Scrambler - tame. Raven is pretty tame to me same for legend. the only other non-tame would be liberty launch -

Sounds like you should have checked the weather. The park cant control the weather. Would you rather be safe or would you rather be zapped by lightnin? So far it sounds like your blaming the park for your problems. -

hmm.. Im already ruling out a new section. a coaster would be high on my list as well as a ton of new flats. And addition for Spalshin' Safari is still in my mind but the only thing they dont have is a water coaster so probably not. To bad they announce it when im in school -.- -

Sorry im a bit ticked off over here at home at a few people(just got done watching Fox news). I tend to snap like that at times. Still that would be a nice addition to the park. Im still wondering what could happen to the park. Anyone know what was the parks biggest addition was? Probably would help figure out how big this project is. -

It also seems like your spellchecker could be fixed then because I spell checked it and it didn't catch it. There isn't anything wrong with it, at least I'm not misspelling every other word like a few members. -

I was there in the 2nd row. History is my major, i don't study that time period the only period i study id from the civil war to the present. My bad if i cant remember what each of the what seems like billions of explorers discovered or did. Besides that's the only place it could go. It would either be it or the mayflower. My god So what if i made a mistake. You all try to make me look like a big idiot. I was thinking off the top of my head my lord. -

Discovered America, where was you at in history class? ^ Exactly. ^^^ I wish it did since they dont have anything that does go upside down. It would be a nice addition to the park for people wishing to get away from the tame rides they park offers -

Hmm.. I think the thanksgiving section needs a pirate ship themed to one of Columbus's ships. The only thing i can think of that would make a lot of sense as being a big project would be a hand full of new thrill rides, or a coaster. If they do add a new coaster i hope this one isn't a wooden. I love their wooden coasters but the park needs a steel or something that goes upside down at least. -
^ The source who told him that must have been high. The park jsut remodeled the waterpark from a hurricane theme 2 years ago to splashwater Kingdom. Makes no sense at all to change it back. ^^ I said that because i read somewhere that he had big plans for the park that would have taken place between 2009-2012 but that wont happen now. he was a great park president I'll say that. Does anyone know if Ed Hart is in the management at SFKK still?

Screamscape is reporting the new project for 2010 is going to be their second largest ever. New coaster maybe?
