  1. I usually watch on my Mac, and also on my iPhone. A question, why does the Youtube player on the TPR site not let me go fullscreen? There is simply only the option to "watch on youtube"?
  2. Lines are much shorter than the summer but don't expect the park to be a ghost town. As always if you want to ride WMG go there right at opening or else the line will be long all day.
  3. ^ If you go back a couple pages you will see some basic tips regarding the park during the week. I would say so long its not a rainy day CW will be quite busy as schools are soon to go back in session so many families will be planning an end-of-summer trip to the park. Guardian is probably worth it if you have never been on the ride before. I would go there first as the line will usually be 1hr+ the rest of the day, and it's not on fastlane. As for purchasing Fastlane +, just judge the crowds when you get there but if I had to guess it will be quite busy. If $70 is too much you could always play the front of the line games infront of Behemoth and Leviathan in hopes of getting front of the line passes for $5.
  4. ^ Where did you see the free fast lane plus? All it says in the email is one free visit to the park before the season ends
  5. Got an email from the park regarding 2015 season passes and I think they might have accidentally leaked 2015 plans. Heres the description New for 2015! There's even more splash-tacular fun coming to our 20-acre water park! Typhoon, a thrilling new water slide featuring oscillating funnels and hairpin turns. For those looking for less thrills and more water, check out Splash Station, a wet and wild interactive children's play area. Come join the fun with a 2015 Season Pass and experience over 200 rides, shows, and attractions including our newest Typhoon and Splash Station!
  6. Fastlane pass will significantly lower the wait for all attractions, but I can only recommend purchasing it if you notice its really busy when you get there. If you want to ride Guardian go there right at opening, or the line will be sitting at over an hour for the rest of the day. Even will full queues Behemoth and Leviathan waits will be less than an hour. In my past experiences I never had to wait more than 10 minutes with Fast Lane.
  7. In case you didn't know, this is the first coaster that Canada's Wonderland has closed. I can't say I will miss Skyrider, sure there are some great pops of air, but that helix is a deathtrap no matter where you sit on the ride.
  8. ^ I think he means they don't really care anymore and just go for the YOLO COASTER EXTREAMME RIDE route every year and not focus on other important things a park needs, like for example general repairs.
  9. That event looks AWESOME! I have seen it all over the internet.. but what is that Macaroni sculpture behind TTD? An advertisement for Kraft Mac + Cheese or is it for something else?
  10. Got a survey in my email today from CW. It was more about my experience at the park rather than what new attractions I would like to see. I let them know a waterpark expansion, and one more good coaster would make Wonderland much better. This year at the park has been great so far, and with an expanded waterpark along with a new coaster (Wing Rider or Intamin Blitz??) would make CW a perfect park.
  11. Not this again... Cedar Point has lots of room to build a new coaster.
  12. I honestly hope you are being sarcastic with this. First, if you ride in the front, you get way more ejector air going over the 2 hills (and I mean A LOT more). Second, your head does get smashed. Third, most of the smashing is in the helix (of death). I don't understand how on earth you find the helix "nice"... Don't even bother with Backlot. Its my opinion, but that coaster is nothing special and defiantly not worth the extra long wait. Even when it comes to The Fly, unless your really lucky, you going to be in the line for quite a long time. I agree Skyrider is a horrible ride and should be avoided at all costs, Stunt coaster and Fly are only good when theres a <10 minute wait.
  13. I would try to avoid weekends as much as possible, however even during the week CW can be very busy. Tuesday-Thursdays are probably the best days of the week. As for the rides you are looking to ride the worst capacity is Vortex, so I would try to get to it as early as possible, later in the day the line will probably hover around a 1hr wait. Leviathan and behemoth are capacity monsters so even in the middle of the day waits will be less than 45 minutes. Windseeker and Drop Tower rarely have lines longer than 25 minutes even on very busy days. If your group can spend a little more you could get Fastlane which would give front of the line access to all of those rides, but I would wait til you arrive at the park to see if its busy or not.
  14. I really love the live cams on Cedar Points site. The fact that they are 100% live and change all day keeps me hooked. Really cool to see the park this way!
  15. Looks kind of like a rip-off (in a good way) of that show at DCA with goofy. Will be interesting to check it out this season
  16. http://www.citynews.ca/2014/05/14/legally-blind-woman-told-to-watch-fireworks-from-outside-wonderland-2/ Thought I would share this, how this even made the news is beyond me.
  17. Last Friday was season pass night, saturday was closed for a private event, and Sunday was opening day.
  18. Probably won't be necessary. Fridays in may are usually dead, as the weather (especially this year) is still quite mild and all k-12 schools are still in session. I would judge it when you get there, operations are usually quite good at CW so you shouldn't have any problems. If you get fast lane or not, be sure to ride the Fly and Thunder Run first, as they get long lines fast and don't have Fastlane.
  19. To be fair though the Wonderland Funnel cakes are VERY good. I try funnel cakes at many parks, and even at other CF parks and state fairs & they don't come close to the Wonderland ones. While its not worth $12 each time it's a really nice treat, and if I'm visiting with people who have never tried one we always make sure to split one.
  20. Wonderland posted 3 new construction images on their Facebook page moments ago. Looks like its a real credit!
  21. Both indoor waterparks in Niagara do very well, especially in the winter months. With a large population in Toronto and not much to do in the winter (attractions wise) I think this park will do extremely well... of course I look forward to visiting too
  22. I will be visiting MK for the first time in a year tomorrow, my family has non-expiry tickets, which have not been converted to the RFID tickets. When I arrive at the park will I have to to go to the guest services outside the park in order for my tickets to be used to enter the park? If anyone that has used Fastpass + could give me suggestions on how to get the most use out of the system that would be appreciated. Thanks
  23. My guess is Hawaii, possibly the Aulani resort? The planes show you flying somewhere (obviously) and I recognize that super target as being the one really close to the Aulani resort? Kind of a long shot
  24. I don't understand the "backstage photos" captions, are you not allowed to take pictures of certain rides? or were just kind of sneaking around? The park looks fantastic
