Just dont get the apple pie... But I would much rather have the meet and greet there, and a new roller coaster/dark ride to replace it. I just hope that all of the effects and animatronics, just remain kept up and not left to rot, (Like Splash Mountain, Small World, Everest, Dinosaur, etc.) Maybe the money will start flowing back to improvements soon... I hope.

TPR Front Page RE-Design Contest!
PriestofSyrinx replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
DKR and Adian's need to have a baby. Combine that with the pull down menus and it would be very easy to navigate! Reasons: 1. They seem very mobile/tablet friendly. It would be alot easier for people to report from in the park, and look up info on the park while in the park. 2. No Clutter. Now this is purely for aesthetic reasons, not bashing, but web site like this: http://www.wdwmagic.com/ or seem way too busy. Your designs have none of that, which is excellent. It makes the site more professional looking, than just amateurishness (I am a member of WDWMagic, and contributor, and I enjoy the site, just not the front page) 3. Minimalist Text. I cannot stress this enough... Too many links= Confusion. Its why people use Google over Yahoo. 4. Pull down menues: If done effectively (http://www.cedarpoint.com/) it can reduce the clutter and keep the text minimal. Other Websites that I frequent that are very appealing: Failblog.org (sans the Ads.) Cracked.com ( A layout like this could fit TPR very well) I dont like this style though: Phonearena.com (Too much going on, contrasting colors) I hope this helps -
5 hours... Thats a hell of a lot! I think i was somewhere close to that on Test Track's opening weekend... Lets see for Sorin': Epcot 9:00 to 9:00, thats twelve hours. Take five out and you got seven left. You frankly just wasted 41% of your day waiting for Patrick Warburton to say have a nice flight. No dice. I think 90 mins is my limit. And with queues like Expedition Everest, Splash Mountain, Dueling Dragons (Pre-Potter) they make the 90 mins slip away... Nick "I think Sorin' is pretty meh in my opinion" Wells

What a great idea! Good job on Disney's part, maybe this will have families pick their vacation time around this so they can experience Splash Mountain at 3 AM. The only thing im worried about is that im going to be in the CP program and I might get stuck doing an early morning shift (Main entrance operations)

My Top ones... *Any Steel, Any where (Magnum) 1-Voyage 2-Thunderhead 3-Great American Scream Machine (Rode this year) 4-The Legend 5-The Raven By Bottom 5- 15- Hurler (Carowinds) 16/17- Woodstock Express (KI/Caro) 18-Son Of Beast 19-Thunder Road (May have been a bad day, but both sides were terrible) -
Cool to see an FEC wanting to make a bigger splash among the behemoths in the area! A wooden coaster will put them head and shoulders above the competition who put in a Wacky Worm/ Wild Mouse... It doesnt look like a "Big Fun" but it sure looks like it will be Big Fun! Nick "Im going to Humor Hell for that one" Wells

Right, but I can't think of many people in Hollywood more "bankable" than James Cameron, can you? Michael Bay? But you are right, he does have the golden touch. (Still waiting for a Kukla Arm "Aliens" ride) Hell, the more competition, the better. As long as Disney comes out on top. Nick "For my Career's sake" Wells

Ill have to agree. Its a power house of a franchise. It will have lasting impact, because my generation will turn their children on to Harry Potter, just like my generation of parents turned us on to their pop culture. This will continue to have a lasting impact for years to come. If anything is going to be a fad in Orlando, it maybe Avatar at Animal Kingdom, which could turnout to be flop, who knows? Carbon Copy is the smartest and most finacially reasonable method. This will generate a huge amount profit for USH, like it has for IOA. 2,500 mile difference. This is why people from heavily populated Northeast go to Orlando, and people from the most populous state in the nation go to LA. They will be gaining customers for doing this, not losing.

How about calling up GCI and getting one of those "Big Fun" roller coasters they were showing at IAPPA? I would like to see one of those get built at this park, especially since it can be built on the cheap. Then you'll have more budget for landscaping, shops, flats, payroll! I want to see where this park goes... -
Wild Adventures/Cypress Gardens when they were under the same management. (Adventure Parks Group ) Wild Adventures had no shade, terrible food, weird layout, Bad operations, and a certain feeling of uneasiness (cant put my finger on it, but it felt strange)... Cypress Gardens felt like a parking lot fair in the middle of a botanical garden. It seemed like Adventure Parks group just wanted to turn it into "Wild Adventures: Winter Haven!" I preferred the place when it was simple, and elegant (to me at least) Now I have not gotten the opportunity to experience either park since new management, I am eager though to check them both out again though...

I bet there will be an app for that soon... RFID/NFC is the Future. And its good show to have it in Epcot (with all of that future theme). Nice job TDO. Im actually really excited that I just got accepted to do Main Entrance Operations for the College Program. Hopefully I'll work with this some! Nick "Loves RFID/NFC because his Nexus S has it" Wells.
