Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath I'll let you guess which is the song title and which is the artist.

"Ride On" - AC/DC
-
"There Is No Time" - Lou Reed The album is titled New York...and that's exactly what it's about.

"Rock and Roll Queen" - Mott the Hoople

Four years for me...I remember looking back once and being surprised by how early on I started posting frequently. On another forum where I was once active, I thought something like 300 posts was a lot for me!

^Hell, I just want to know why they had to make it so damn ugly. A coaster ostensibly themed after a sea monster should have a dark and foreboding color scheme.
-
"Cutting Corners" - Hanoi Rocks. (...They sure do!)
-
"Mixed Emotions" - The Rolling Stones The song I should be listening to skipped.

"Blank Generation" - Richard Hell & The Voidoids

Help me identify this antique woodie!

Great find! Without any expertise, I would narrow it down to the Shoot-the-Chutes, Figure 8, or Bob Sled Dipper. I would lean towards the water ride, but Figure 8 was a side friction coaster. RCDB just gives dates, no pics. -
"Train of Shame" - Squad Five-O <3

^I either like, LOVE, or occasionally tolerate every one of those bands. Last time I threw out a name as a favorite, it was Foreigner, but I'm not claiming any official favorites for now. Currently I am hungrily jumping between a variety of artists in the expansive realm of late 60s-early 90s hard rock.

"Flying High Again" - Ozzy Osbourne

"Rotten to the Core" - The Builders and the Butchers

Ok, now it seems like speculation really is more towards it not being a woodie at all. It's a bit early to be overthinking every word, but I would think that if they were going to make a taller replica, they'd play up the increased height. Since they didn't really compare the old and new, maybe it's because they will be completely unrelated coaster types.

Good points above; hopefully it's a near-replica, or at least a Thunderbolt-inspired woodie. Seems like it would be, but as with Steeplechase, they could just be using the name for attention knowing it will still bring in crowds. At least it's widely known that people want the original Thunderbolt back and would be disappointed with anything lesser. If it's what it sounds like (as has been rumored in the past), it's so awesome that they're actually going ahead with it. I'd rather ride the original, but that's neither here nor there at this point. Wonder who the manufacturer will be.

I recently got the app for my old favorite, classic rock station 92.3 KGON. I might just delete it, though, since I personally own most of the songs on their playlist! On that note, I often hear complaints about songs being overplayed or overly commercialized, but I personally adore a lot of the radio hits from various bands, even after I end up with full-length albums from them. I guess it does help that I don't own an actual radio anymore, though. I usually scan for top 40, hip-hop, or 80s rock. I've been pretty consistent on this for a number of years, but I go back and forth on what I find most appealing, and I've moved from preferring 60s-70s classic rock to mostly 70s-80s stuff.
