Call me crazy (I will) but a part of me will miss Son of Beast if it goes even though I will only ride it once a year and then never again cause it just hurts too damn much. At least I can say I have both loop and post loop ride credits. -

Yes they are sticklers. You will have to "borrow" a small child to ride it. -

I have some friends that are 6'2" and some taller and we've never had issues. However I'm sure riding something with a small train like Blue Streak can be a little tight. -

I believe the only rides that have a maximum height limit are some of the kiddie stuff. A good way to be sure of stuff like this is to visit Cedar Point's website. -

^Well Cedar Point's official Twitter page did have a single entry that said "Aquatrax?" Maybe he's not too far off huh? *Edit* I guess to add to my discussion that if they are indeed building an Aquatrax, which it certainly looks like they will be, I just hope there is a pretty good amount of theming -

I would say (depending on what you pick) you'll get three to four big coasters in on Thursday night. Friday morning I'd start with Maverick, Millennium, Dragster, then Raptor. Park in the back at the Gemini lot so you won't have a long walk to Maverick. Hopefully if you get there early you won't wait too long. Millennium Force will ALWAYS have a line as will Maverick. Even on slow days in May I sometimes wait 30-45 minutes for Maverick. -

When I went to Cedar Point last Tuesday I was quite impressed with Raptors current crew in hitting their intervals. *Note I used to work on Raptor so I know them* I think they have a pretty good crew this season. -

LOL yep when Mean Streak has a decent line you know it's busy. I been quite a bit this year and I can't say I've noticed a horrible spider infestation. Shoot I saw a big black snake in Animal Kingdom once when i was sitting on a bench. It slithered right by me in a garden. Does AK have a snake infestation problem? I doubt it. Will I go back? Yes! -

I read in yesterdays Sandusky Register that state investigators have found no irregularities in the operation of Son of Beast. Kings Island's spokesperson said it would be inappropriate to speculate on when the ride would be open again. -

Yeah it was quite cool to see in person. I think I was probably more nervous at the start of it for him than he was. It was pretty cool to watch. And as said above the Flying Wallendas DO NOT use any safety devices. I think Cedar Point management took a collective sigh of relief when he steped on to the other cherry picker. At the end his last few feet he did like a wobbly run and acted like he was stumbling and gunna fall before he stopped. It was funny to hear everyone gasp. -

Today at 5pm Nik Wallenda from the famous "Flying Wallendas" family stopped by Cedar Point to walk the Sky Ride. He walked at the highest middle section from one tower to another. High Five! ooooo Dragsetr artsy top hat shot... Too bad he's looking the other way! He made it! Watch out for that plane! He freaked everyone out when he decided to lay down Come here birdie! Almost right over me Taking a breather Pretty much in the middle..... another Raptor shot fail lol. Guess I need an SLR Those wires you see were there as added support.... At the ends of them they were being held by CP ride op's.... Very trusting guy And he's off Stepping on He's up there... Artsy shot #2.....fail My attempt at an artsy shot Gooooooing up! There's the span he's going to walk..... No the Sky Ride was not moving -

The Sandusky Register said that it was a device that looked like a bomb. The Lorain County bomb squad responded to it and the destroyed it with a high powered water jet. The person that planted it was from Pennsylvania and his date in court is coming up like next week I think. -

Bugs hung around extra long due to the unseasonably cooler temps we've been having here. Got in the low 60's last night....... Hey global warming......riiiight.
