  1. ^ I was there Saturday night and thought the "fear of the dark" room was still pretty dark as I could barely see but I do remember a slight difference from when I went during the second of week of howl-o-scream. They probably received a bunch of complaints from people running into each other and into a wall
  2. ^^ You'd be surprised on how fast a virus could get into your computer even with up to date antivirus programs, don't rule a virus out. My rant: Work days go too slow while non working hours go way too fast.
  3. They added a new animated video like the one they released on the announcement day, you can scan the QR code on page 234 or be lazy:
  4. IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon died in a 15 car crash today: espn.go.com/racing/indycar/story/_/id/7111712/dan-wheldon-dies-following-indycar-crash-vegas
  5. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7098026/miami-dolphins-brandon-marshall-seeks-passion-second-quarter-ejection-vs-new-york-jets Really Marshall? Your plan is to get ejected by mid 2nd quarter by intentionally punching someone? This may be the best quote from a WR, even more so from anything from T.O., Moss or Ochocinco.
  6. I was at Scarowinds on Saturday and Sunday nights and I have to admit out of the three parks I have been to it was the best halloween event I have seen. Just like every other park during this year avoid Saturdays, an hour into the evening on Saturday the parking lot was half full and the line of cars to get in was backed up almost to the Wendys. The season pass lot was overflowed with cars parked in the grass at 8PM. I was there from 7 until 8 that night since I knew I was coming back on Sunday but managed to get five mazes in that hour while the crowd that was there was still at Intimidator and Afterburn, which by the way had a full queue and spilled out onto the midway
  7. I have been to Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion and Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens so far. I'll be at Scarowinds this weekend then I will be at Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens once more to end my coaster season.
  8. Managers who email you one day and tell you do something and then the very next day yell at you for doing it. But on the other hand, their face is always priceless when you show them the email and they have to shut up.
  9. Flight of Fear will also close for Haunt, I believe the two Chuck mentioned and Fof close at 5pm.
  10. ^^ Im still at 58. I'll give it another ten minutes then I am giving up.
  11. I hope I am still in play, with Robb's screenshots earlier it looked I was twenty spots behind him. It has said 58 for the last 15 minutes. I hope it didn't lose my connection somehow
  12. Is the count of how many people in front you not updating for anyone?
  13. Forgetting my three closest parks which I always give atleat one visit a year: Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Six Flags America Either Italy or Europe tour. Dollywood Hershey Park Canada's Wonderland Martin's Fantasy Island Darien Lake Marineland Waldameer Conneaut Lake Park (if Blue Streak is still open) I would love to go back to Six Flags Great America for X Flight but I doubt I'll have the funds, and I will probably have to cut out part of the non-TPR trip parks too, but hopefully not.
  14. Flight of Fear and Hurler will not be open Friday nights but on Saturday and Sunday will be open until 5PM I believe, it may be 6PM though, I forgot.
  15. Well maybe my QR app is wrong then, I did get a POV but now looking at the POV I saw it does look like a No Limits version created by a fan and not the park. It also had a construction video and old videos of Illuminights. Edit: Nevermind I hit related videos and thought they were the parks
  16. Just got back from the presentation. It was announced that the name was Verbolten and that both launches will be 50+ miles per hour. They also said it will have lap bars only. They said How-O-Scream is going back to its days where it is geared towards the scares instead of families so it looks like it will have definitely improved from last year. They also had the QR bar codes to scan which provide some neat videos which is posted below. - Lap Bars Only! - 16 people per train! - Multiple Launches! - 50+ Miles per hour! More details will be available soon! Teaser trailer.... Press Release; WILLIAMSBURG, Va. 17. I think by the 100 posts you have made in this thread and others we all know you want in invert. Personally, I don't see it ever happening unless Great America closes and they give KD another used B&M, but I think KD would be better off with something else.
  18. If Saturdays are like last year during haunt expect Rebel Yell to have a line to its entrance with two trains during the afternoon-evening. And yes I mean the entrance, that long queue, it was like that every Saturday last year in October.
  19. ^ They are open this weekend then closed to the 25th because of private events next weekend. See calendar on KD website
  20. Lee remnants are over Virginia right now. We're being told a good chance of rain today (it has been pouring all day) through Thursday and a little bit of chance on Friday then clear on the weekend. That was what I saw early this morning before going to work on the local news station.
  21. Yeah, I would say in his late 50's.
  22. And this has been experience minus Intimidator 305 up until mid summer this year when it has turned into all rides. I305 used to have ops that would get trains out as quick as possible but sometime in July this year seemed to lose all those employees they've had since the ride opened last year and the new employess have a "I don't care" attitude. And don't say this is an end of season thing because I went in August-October last year and they still were doing their best. I did see Dale for the first time Sunday and he was the only one who tried so this does not include him. The only ride I can give an exception to the ride ops is Shockwave and that is only because very few people in the world use their brain enough to pay attention that you can move the restraints up and down when you first get on. It is hilarious to watch a 6'3" guy try to fit in the train after someone who is 5'6" just rode.
  23. Yesterday on Dominator they had three trains and four employees checking restraints and they still stacked all trains. And this was with guests getting in their seats in a very reasonable time.
