  1. I though that both parks were very good. However, I understand that DJ's team didn't want to cram so much into their park, but it seems to me that there is too much space. Also, the only three buildings in the center of the park look similar. SFGAM's park did have a lot crammed into the park, but I didn't believe that it was over bearing. I also liked that there seem to be distinct areas of the park, which different colors and building styles.
  2. Haha, I was just about to post that, Alp. They say that it's a first for Cheetah Hunt, does that mean it's completely new, or it's new for this style of coaster.
  3. What happened to my post of the trains Robb?
  4. Wow. Just. Wow. All I could see was 60+ mph over those hills. Insane. Great job.
  5. I would say mine are Loch Ness and Andaconda. I would like Kumba's tunnel, but my ears are a little sensitive, and it really does ROAR in there.
  6. Yes, the ride is still rough (a wooden coaster is rough? No way!) but all I was hoping for was to be able to re-ride without feeling like I just had a seizure.
  7. Ok, so just got back from BG of 2011 today (finally), so I'll just go through how my 2 hour trip went. Got there, printed my ticket and walked through the gate. I headed straight for Gwazi (for the first time in a long time). Rode Lion. Walked off. Rode Tiger. Walked off. Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention how AMAINGLYFANTASTICORGASMICWONDERFULSTUPENDOUS the trains were. yea. Then rode Sheikra. Walked to Kumba. Line was about 35 minutes, so I didn't wait. Oogled at Cheetah Hunt. Yea, when I looked at it over the Edge of Africa walkway, my eyes were like It was wonderful. Oh, then I rode Gwazi Lion, again. Hear that? I rode Gwazi 3 times in one day. New personal record. I would have ridden Tiger again, but it was closed. Then I left. It was well worth the 12 year wait for Millenium Flyers.
  8. The little drop after the main drop on JTA in Orlando. I think it scared my mom and sister more when they were in the front and the wettest!
  9. I saw somewhere that it would be closed til February 26th or so. You should be good in March.
  10. Pretty cool. Can't wait to see the foliage, since the ride seems finished.
  11. Are you serious!? When I was there for ECB during the IntimidaTOUR, I greyed out every time but once that day. I rode it about 12 times because of ERT.
  12. This news station here says that the coaster will be open 9am (opening of the park) on May 27th. Hey, look at that! Memorial Day weekend.
  13. Mine was spending an awesome day at Dollywood during the IntimidaTOUR. That was my favorite park of the trip.
  14. Wow. It absolutely crawls through the inline twist.
  15. Yea, Six Flags likes to repeat itself, but I don't think SFMM would put yet another 4-D coaster in it's park.
  16. Darn it Steve! I was gonna use that last photo and tell people that I was at the park today! Now I can't because it has your name all over it.
  17. It looks like flyer restraints, yet it's missing the large flaps that actually hold the rider in. I wonder if those are gonna be missing, and them be like hyper clam shell restraints with two large OTS bars to grab onto. That's be so much movement!
  18. Yea, I think this would be in the main thread. Great pics though! I love the shot of the Midway with Thunderbolt in the background. Great shot.
  19. I saw this today: http://www.bgtnation.net/2011/02/cheetah-chase-becomes-sand-serpent.html
  20. Actually, it was there when I posted my answer 8 minutes before you.
  21. What will be the coaster and exhibit interaction, if any? As in, will the guests have a view into Cheetah Run as they exit the station?
