  1. owh that was you wearing a green shirt at that time, riding in the pouring rain and still holding up the arms?? Yea, that was me in the front row with Ross. At the end, I thought I could handle it, but at the end, I started to cover my face. There's me with all my wristbands from the week. Good times.
  2. Man, of course they start construction of the drop the day after I go. Oh well, when I'm back in a week, I'll see the finished product.
  3. Not gonna say I didn't like the old, but this rework is looking awesome! Great job.
  4. Dania Beach Hurricane at Boomers. Rode it three times in a row. Wanted to kill myself.
  5. Um, ok. Great to hear. Any news on how much it costs? The V-bot, that is.
  6. I like your responses, it looks like both are great, but Mirabilandia has to two coasters over Gardaland's one coaster. Well, I still have time, and hopefully, I can save enough for both! Also, how much is the V-Pass at Mirabilandia? I cannot find a price on their website. Oh, and if anyone else wants to put in more insight, by all means, go for it.
  7. I'm staying in Florence, I guess I forgot to mention that. ^And no. Montu is! (Fanboy fap)
  8. Great response! I am not a picky person when it comes to which park I want to go to. The only thing I don't prefer are water rides (I have a Dan tolerance with water ). Besides that, scenery is definitely a plus, I like pretty things. And an aquarium add on would be cool. And, I just realized that the prices were only for a one way ticket, so I can only do one of the parks, since I don't know how I'll be with money.
  9. Now I know what website Robb doesn't like! Ok, here are the photos from today! Door was open! Wide view So because of the poles at the ends, this possibly will be a patio seating area. Nice details Soon to be waterfall! So here is the only change to the change to the wire. I'm no rocket scientist, but I think a change that small won't ruin everything like everyone is fussing about, IMO.
  10. First ride ever on I305. Front row in the morning. As we went up the lift, it started pouring. Bad. Felt like needles. Couldn't feel my face for another 1.5 hours. Oh, the 20 odd other people on the train during East coast bash know what I'm talking about.
  11. First off, I didn't put this in the Ask Alvey's board because I thought I'd get more traffic here. Move me if you must. Ok, so here's the plan. I'm gonna be in Italy for 6 weeks in the months of June, July, and August. I would absolutely LOVE to go to one of the parks mentioned for a day trip, if possible. If not, then I'll try to stay at a cheap hostel (Flashes to movie scene ) I've done my research, and it looks like I could get either a 2.5 hour train for 37,40 € or a 4 hour train for 19,90 € to Gardaland. Or! I could get a 3 hour train for 31,80 € or maybe another 3 hour train for 9,85 €, though I only found one out of 20 scheduled times, to Mirabilandia. Tack on the price of tickets, and it looks to be 55,90 € to 73,40 € for Gardaland or 42,85 € to 64,8 € to Mirabilandia. Of course, prices may fluctuate, so here's where your input comes in. WHERE SHOULD I GO? Yea. Go ahead you park savvy people. Which one should I choose? Give me your best choice and reasoning. Hopefully you'll be right. There....done. Thank you for reading.
  12. Python Pit (Jeepers) Bear Trax (Seabreeze) Taxi Jam (KD) Ravine Flyer 3 (Waldameer) Tasmanian Tiger (Lowry Park Zoo) I'd call it: "Credit Whore World"
  13. And since Thursday when I had mine. But it's subjective, so hopefully BaMiTsPaT can go again and enjoy it some other time.
  14. See I've been on a Carnival cruise and I loved it. I don't remember having any problems with it, though I was either 12 or 13. That was the 4 day cruise from Miami, to Key West and Cozumel, and then back to Miami. I have found similar prices Morgan on other lines, so it just depends on what I can find price wise and compare them with quality.
  15. My girl and I are planning a cruise in the Caribbean for either the end of this year or next summer. We are looking for a 4-5 day cruise. Any suggestions for cruises which cost less than $400 per person? Or at least the possibility?
  16. Python, BGT Big Bad Wold, BGW Deja Vu, SFOG Hypersonic XLC, King's Dominion Flying Super Saturator, Carowinds
  17. I've convinced my roommate that he should go with. So it'll be him and I plus Pufferfish driving up.
  18. I talked to a worker at Busch Gardens who was at the Edge of Africa pathway. He started explaining to us the coaster (in non coaster nerd fashion ) and I asked him about the section over the skyride. He said that they didn't believe it was going to be so close, so they are going to drop the skyride.
  19. ^^Huh, interesting. I wonder why they would do that....
  20. Oh my gosh, this man's a genius. Even though the water table in Florida is seriously low, Montu has trenches which are (from the look of things) deeper than these on Cheetah Hunt. They should have no trouble draining the water and making the trench walls water resistant. As for the clearance, yes, people and computers can mess up with either the calculations or the cutting of the steel, but we wouldn't know if there truly is a mistake until they put up the track and it's 5 feet off........I'm looking at you Arrow.....
  21. This doesn't have anything to do with theme parks or coasters, but while I was riding Sheikra last week, I'm pretty sure that the kid next to me said he wanted to be the first astronaut to the sun, but he wants to go at night, when it's not so hot. I think he was just joking with his friends, but it was odd.
