  1. I apologise for the lack of updates, but this is merely because DI is now completed and sent off to NE! I shall post the park to the TPR Game Exchange as soon as possible!
  2. Excellent update! J'aime les rues parisiennes, et Amerrissage Seine! (Didn't know I spoke French, eh? ) Très magnifique!
  3. Mmm.. X-Flight colors.. I'm still not 100% feeling the wind seeker colors, the red and purple is fine, I just don't think the gold combines well with both at the same time..
  4. Discovery Isle was originally started just over a year ago. After a loooooooong time, I've finally picked it back up. Now up to 21 coasters, Discovery Isle is back, with not one, but SIX new coasters opening up soon, the first of which is Overdrive, an Intamin Megacoaster (not quite 200 feet) on the shoreline of beautiful Discovery Isle. Before we get to the coaster, how about a more current overview? (Note: Some areas incomplete, not all of the 256x256 map is visible.) I wonder how many of you will notice the new coasters? Our next order of buisness isn't a coaster, but thrilling nonetheless! Fort Dread is Discovery Isle's first "dry" dark ride, the other being Tsunami Falls, an indoor log flume. Deadrock Prison is located nearby, incorporated into Fort Dread. On to the main event, eh? Overdrive is Discovery Isle's newest (open) coaster, though it is a sub-hyper, it packs a major punch and some massive thrills. The trains (Blue and Orange) rip past the shore, just feet away. Doubling back on itself, a massive second hill provides a breathtaking view of the park, including Sakurajima on the other shore. The entrance and the queue line, along with the coaster's first massive overbank. Another angle of the same area. (Sorta.) Another high speed turn flings guests back around. Overdrive is still going at high speeds (a la Millenium Force) when it hits the final two overbanks and into the station. I hope you all enjoy this return as much as I do!
  5. Having a bit of a clearance problem, I zeroed clearances to modify some roofs, then restored them with 1.21 (8cars). All clearances appear fine.. Except half loops and 60 degree drop sections, those appear "glitchy". I've had this problem before, but fixed it, can't remember how. Any help appreciated!
  6. Here's his response to how Mantis is Green Lantern: I just don't know how to respond to any of those at all. From a different guy: I call trolling.
  7. Awesome stuff here! Pretty crazy seeing CP this empty, the emptiest I've seen it is early entry days. I'm curious about the markings around DT..
  8. El Dorado, Island Air and Sakurajima. Coming soon, to Discovery Isle. (Note; Sakurajima's colors are not final. All pictures are unfinished.)
  9. Finally, another RCT2ing Minnesotan. I LOVED Squall and Tornadus. Those bridges reminded me so much of the North Shore.
  10. The last coaster I rode was Rock Bottom Plunge at The Mall of America, Dec 5th. Eagerly awaiting the soonest opportunity to hit up Valleyfair, hopefully on the May 12th opening day.
  11. I think Goliath was my first hypercoaster (back in '08). Either Goliath or Wild Thing, pretty sure it was Goliath though.
  12. In all seriousness.. Even if this is a Vekoma, still wish they had chosen Valleyfair as the spot for it... Maybe next year (or two) we'll get something..
  13. I quite like the fusion of stadium and park, and that drop tower of quite pleasant looking.
  14. See Valleyfair: Last coaster was Renegade in '07, only major thing since then was the Planet Snoopy expansion last year.
