  1. Pet Smart Pet Smart Pet Smart!
  2. ^I'll vouch for him on that one, it was a classic Title Fairy switcheroo
  3. That has gotta be the best mine train ride in the world right there, well either that or Expedition Everest. Great report, it's nice to see some views of a brand spankin new park, it looks like they've got a superb ride collection there
  4. That's basically my list too, but I think I may put White Water Safari over Shipwreck Rapids
  5. Back when I was probably around 7, I was waiting in line for Rocket Rods at Disneyland and was probably 3/4 through a very long line, but, I really had to piss. Luckily Disney will do anything to please their guests and gave us exit passes to come back after we used the restrooms. While I don't think every park needs to be as nice as Disney, I'm just putting it out there that the line jumping rule is not standard protocol at every park.
  6. There's no doubt that Disney does their audio best. They time the music with the speed of the ride instead of the action in the first car. For instance the song on Screamin speeds up as the train speeds up, but on X2, the "Gooooiiiinnngggg dooooowwwwnnnn" only times with the front car as the back car is still looking up at the sky at that point. While the audio is inaudible on some parts on X2, you can hear it for the most of the ride, Terminator on the other hand is unacceptably quiet rendering the onboard audio completely useless beyond the lift.
  7. I'm sorry if my post was crossing the boundaries of discussion there, I was speculating on the type of OSTR it may be, but if that counts as 'stupid restraint discussion,' just let me know and I'll shut up!
  8. I actually do really like the restraints for Perilous Plunge a lot, they're restraining, soft, and allow for a lot of freedom. If they do end up changing the restraints from what the animation shows (please don't kill me Robb!) I have a feeling it'll be like Tornado at Bakken and Insane which wouldnt be all too bad
  9. I will agree that I expected more from this ride than what they gave us, but that drop will be a ride and a half right there, I mean if MF's drop is that good, the extra 5 degrees will make it perfect. Plus the first turn looks really forceful, and the 2 airtime hills look like they will at least deliver strong floater air. With all the fast transitions and the amazing sense of speed you're gonna get on this, it's gonna be far from suckish.
  10. ^Yes. While this ride doesnt look balls out amazing, it certainly looks far from terrible
  11. Terminator filled SFMM's 'Good Woodie' hole (Hmmmm I probably could have worded that better... ) But there are 2 spots that SFMM still needs filled, more family rides, and airtime, their new coaster will probably take up one, if not both of those spots
  12. Quoted from Facebook: Oh well, TTD had a good run as #1
  13. They probably just put that there to make it look like they had done more than 1. They took it out of the Six Flags book *cough*
  14. ^Buys toupees off the black market vThinks "toupees" are those things "Indians" sleep in
  15. SFMM on Tuesday! Maybe I will finally ride Roaring Rapids after my many visits there...nah, probably not
  16. Where do you see the name in that article? It says KD's coaster name is Intimidator but it never mentions Carowinds name. I'm going with White Lightning. Sorry I misread the article haha ^^After reading one little snippit from the from the KD write up, I have a feeling the "record" being broken is tallest coaster in the park, just like the fastest meanest coaster ever to strike!...Kings Island.
  17. Intimidator 239.99 anyone? Edit: ME STOOPID
  18. Those animations never tend to be too accurate with landscaping, if they were accurate, Terminator would be sitting on a nice bed of grass with trees around, and not a concrete slab. (But don't worry Termy, I still love you)
  19. The lift hill supporting is more than fine the way it is, Desperado has been standing like this all these years.
  20. I believe the angle needed to be an inversion is 160 degrees, besides, most inversions, i.e: dive loop immelman, cobra roll etc don't go the complete 180 degrees upside down
  21. ^Last time I went, I rode SB in rows 1,4, and the back, 1 and the back at least had some force, but I was amazed by the complete lack of force in row 4, I seriously doubt that it hit much more than 2 g's
  22. Bolligerandmabillard stated a while back that there's a lot of space behind Viper all the way down to Deja Vu, that's one large spot right there, plus it seems like there's a lot of space behind Terminator too
  23. Haha you went on a day that they were filming 'Brain Rush' for cartoon network! Awesome PTR, I must say that I'm very impressed the little dude rode Xcelerator...I'm 15 and I just got my first ride on it last month haha
  24. Well we do know management is working with Intamin...but we don't know when, and if that ride will be a coaster or flat etc.
  25. ^I doubt anyone will argue with you there, Batman certainly is the most consistently intense ride in the park...it's just short.
