  1. How is it betraying a company if you just buy a ride from another company? There's only so many rides you can buy from GG!
  2. What about Holiday World? The park is on a hill and I'm surprised they don't have a GCI yet.
  3. Apparantly those trains "ruined" Vampire. I haven't ridden it, but I have ridden two coasters that use the same trains and they are really uncomfortable and even rough. I much prefer Ninja's traditional trains.
  4. I think it's kinda pointless saying what you like/don't like about the parks' coasters because the park will remove whatever they want. Rides like The Chiller at SFGAdv, Deja Vu at SFGAm and SFOG, Shockwave at SFGAm etc. are all examples of this. They were favorites to some people but the park decided to remove them anyway for other more important reasons. That said, I don't think we need to worry about SFMM removing another coaster for at least a few more years.
  5. ^ Deja Vu was open during WCB 09' so it probably either reopened that weekend or the weekend before (I remember us wondering if it would be open or not so it was close).
  6. I went to Knott's two weeks ago...but I've been having trouble uploading the pictures to TPR (for some reason I can't get them to the right size, no idea how I did it last time) so here is the PTR with the pictures linked from Photobucket. Montezooma's Revenge - 2 Supreme Scream - 3 Silver Bullet - 2 Ghostrider - 2 Timber Mountain Log Ride - 1 Jaguar - 1 In the parking lot... The fat one couldn't quite keep up Not quite You don't want to know what it looked like for me to get this picture So I took advantage of it and got as many pictures possible Too bad none of them turned out good Where's the other side of the cobra roll? Some zoom HERE THEY COME!!! Oh, wrong ride If you were at Knott's that day and you saw some guy running around Silver Bullet's layout taking pictures, that was me Because you can never get enough pictures of Silver Bullet... Jaguar peacefully passes by Monte was my first ride of the year Hmmmm The Boardwalk is so empty without it Skipped Boomerang But that's just common sense Who rides it anyway? (besides the GP) Is it just me or is the track uneven...? Someone has a belly button piercing yes they do! Demon Drop > Screamin' Swing It's so popular Ghostrider "raped" me, as some of the nerdiest coaster enthusiasts would say Not anymore My favorite part of the ride So then I went back over to Silver Bullet... This was 50% fail Silver Bullet...over the trees...! Back around the park There's this new soccer game thing, fun to watch What Knott's looks like on a Sunday When Perilous Plunge is open in January you know you're in SoCal Supreme Scream at night ftw CATCH CAR!! And that's all for this report, see ya soon Knott's
  7. Was Giant Drop at Dreamworld built after or the same time as Tower of Terror? If after, it might be possible...although maybe not since there aren't two sides of the tower to work with. Superman Tower of Power "broke" itself a couple years ago. It's gone now.
  8. That's true. The GP actually does like the ride. It still gets lines and some of my friends really like it (it was ones' favorite ride in the park tied with Tatsu!)
  9. Speaking of SFA, anyone think the same thing may happen there too? There aren't as many hints as SFKK because SFA's major attraction hasn't been removed, but it seems like Six Flags wants to get rid of all the stuff they don't want before their 50th Anniversary.
  10. I think so. The accident may have partly been SFKK's fault, but the park is still really unlucky. That accident really messed up the park and it's been going downhill since... Anyways, there may still be a chance. http://www.wlky.com/news/22468433/detail.html The thing about the jobs is true. The park was really important to the city. If the park does go, I just hope other Six Flags parks will benefit from it by getting some rides, unlike AstroWorld where only about a couple (or less?) made it to other parks.
  11. What's wrong with saying Scream! is a bad ride? It's just an opinion. That's like saying any of parks' other coasters are bad rides is wrong. Personally, I don't enjoy Scream and I rarely ride it. It really was not needed at SFMM, and for all the people that say "it would be much more appreciated at a smaller park", I agree...so why did it go to SFMM? To tie CP...
  12. Is it just the picture or are the cars really small?? When I first saw the picture I thought they were toy-sized!
  13. 14/20...the ones I got I knew, the ones I guessed I guessed wrong.
  14. And Mindbender...and Mr. Freeze...and Greezed Lightnin'...and Joker's Jinx... Why would Six Flags make that rule only for SFMM?
  15. The way I think of it is if SFMM wants to be extra careful and make sure nothing happens to someone on the ride, that's fine. But if doing so means giving a roller skater kiddie coaster a 42" height reqirement, then just don't put it in in the first place, because there's really no point.
  16. There was another theme park planned for Arizona, I think it was called Coyote Canyon or something similar. I'm pretty sure it was "announced" (not officially, but a rumor) sometime during Fall of 2008. Another Arizona amusement park forgotten about...
  17. If this is a mistake, then that's odd too...if something goes up on the site, it should be official and not false. It should also be clear whether or not it's 42 inches with an adult or to ride alone.
  18. Okay Guess there aren't that many afterall...haha
  19. Registered for Knott's. Couldn't miss out on a TPR event at my home park!
