So I'm just wondering if there are any APhiO brothers (actives or alumnus) here. I figured that since this site's so big there *has* to be at least one. Anyway, I'm a member of the chapter at the University of Dayton, Alpha Gamma Xi. I just joined last semester, Spring '07. If there are any other brothers out there, are you going to the National conference in December? Hopefully I'll be there - as long as I can figure out why the registration page is denying me.

Album art from Rush's newest studio album, Snakes & Arrows. I actually found it on Neil Peart's website on his essay on the making of the album - but it still related to the album and is in the album art in some way or another.

Agreed. From the looks of it, mostly every hill of the ride will be taller than Darkride: The Box. The only one I'm not sure about is the hill after the second helix going into the splashdown. The first drop isn't even halfway up yet, and some shots from the parking lot already show the track above the skyline. This thing is gonna TOWER over the park next year. I can't wait to see the new skyline.

I love it when people call names by the wrong name. And not anything small, but I'm talking a completely wrong name. For example: -Wicked Twister (CP) = Twisted Sister -Blue Streak (CP) = The Racer -Millennium Force (CP) = Magnum Force I heard someone call the Racer (KI) The Beast once. I got a kick out of that one.

This thing is gonna be fantastic when it's finished. I can't wait for them to erect the lift so we can see exactly how tall it's going to be up against the other rides around it. I have yet to be on a B&M hyper, but from what I've heard they're amazing. I was hoping to get to CW this past summer to ride Behemoth, but the plans fell through early on.

I just saw this today. Looks pretty good. Glad to see that former Paramount Parks are getting the CF-style blogs on their websites. Now if KI can get on the ball and start one up...

My favorite band would have to be Rush. They were on tour this past summer, but I wasn't able to get to any of the shows. Too bad, though, I would love to see them live. I hear the tickets are ridiculously expensive, though. I did see Springsteen live in Columbus this past March. That was a hell of a show. Anyone else pumped that he'll be doing the Superbowl Halftime Show this year?!? I can't wait for the new AC/DC album. It's gonna be sick.

What up, I'm Derek. I've been roaming here and there for a while and finally decided to get with the program and register. I'm a 21-year-old (w00t!!) college student from Columbus, Ohio. I am currently a junior at the University of Dayton, majoring in Biology and possibly a minor in photography (not sure on that one yet).
