SFOG This Saturday!
Jordan Shankman replied to nannerdw's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Acrophobia is pretty damn scary...one of the scariest rides i've ever been on. Pretty much every ride is worth waiting for except Ninja, Canyon Blaster, and Mine Train. Also, where are you from? I'd be willing to meet up with you... -
For some reason, it tastes the same as the first Sprite Remix...

What's wrong with Deja Vu?
Jordan Shankman replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I was at SFMM last week I noticed a very strange piece of equipment toward the back of the train. Also, according to a few friends of mine, Deja Vu at SFOG is also recieving this. Could this be it? Do you think that this is what the Vekoma engineers have come up with to fix it? I hope so... -
I'm pretty sure the shooting and what not was...but I don't think any of what happened to the people that moved in is actually based on fact.

Truely one of THE best horror films ever made. VERY few horror movies actually scare me...this one did. Go see it! ***** out of *****

Jordan Shankman replied to PKDFreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The only park I like better then PKD is CP. So yeah, IMO, it's an awesome park. -
First onride Video of Kanonen

^ You mean parks? This does seem like an incredibly fun ride, but it looks like there may be some head banging. -
The wrinkles, raised eye brows, and other facial features are all part of the prosthetic...you don't have to do any of it. All you have to do is paint it, which is actually quite easy. With each prosthetic comes a booklet that tells you which paints to mix, how much to use, and ways to make realistic shadows without an airbrush. Yes, they are reusable, but they're fragile. If you don't store them and clean them properly, they will last alot less longer. Usually, you can wear each prosthetic 15-20 times. Also, yes, you have to buy a new/different prosthetic if you want a new monster. I will sell each prosthetic for $42.95 if you're interested.

Yeah, make-up does help the realism of a mask in a way, but I still think it looks cheesy. I use prosthetic appliances. They are foam filled latex faces that you apply to your own with spirit glue. They are extremely realistic, but they do take a while to get in and out of. This is probably why Knotts uses so many masks. It would be too large of a task to use those on every one of their actors. I use prosthetics made by this company... http://screamteam.com/ I can get you all of them for a cheaper price, so if you're ever interested in purchasing one, contact me through e-mail at jordan@frightmarefactory.net

I design and build haunted houses, props, animatronics, and costumes for the haunted attraction industry. I am also a reseller of many other items made by other companies. Heres my companies logo...
-
Ah yes, i've seen quite a few of those. Infact, I sell both of them.
-
Yeah, i've seen all the pictures and videos. Knotts Scary Farm looks to be pretty scary, but IMO they overuse over the head masks...they just look so fake. Also, yes, i'm planning on having a part through an alleyway beside my house that will consist of a winding tunnel (it'll look alot like the tunnel at the end of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake when the child is guiding the people through with Leatherface beind them) and you'll be chased by leatherface with a real chainsaw...without the blade of course...to the exit. SFMMXcoaster, I believe the body you saw being shocked was this...

Uh...loves Epcot. Can't wait for this weeks CA trip. -
What do you mean by "Haunt Quality". Like, as good as the large profit haunted houses? Because like I said earlier, alot of people told me it was better (scene decoration and scare wise) than Universals Halloween Horror Nights and most other haunts they had been to. If anyones in the Atlanta area, and would like to come and take a behind the scene look, e-mail me at info@frightmarefactory.net

I'm straight, but I suck with women. I can't get a goddamn girl friend. Maybe it's my obsession with horror... Anyway, I don't have a problem with it, but I think most people on here are gay. It just seems like being gay is the whole theme of themeparkreview. Not sure why...it just does.
-
Yeah, i've got it, and it looks great. My only problem with it is the speed in which it comes out. Not very fast, but it'll definitely be effective.

I refuse to consume a product from an internet search engine. Oh.

Any bikers in the house?
Jordan Shankman replied to CoasterFanatic's topic in Random, Random, Random
I used to race in a 125 dirt bike class (I had a Kawasaki KX 125), but I stopped after I crashed and broke my left wrist, collar bone, and a few of my ribs. My bike was also trashed. I just said forget it and stopped riding. I may get a new bike in the future, but I really don't know yet.
