  1. Everything in Paris is connected by subway, including Disneyland, which has its very own station. (RER-line A; Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy) A very detailed guide here: http://parisbytrain.com/rer-train-paris-to-euro-disney/ It costs about $10 for a single trip from Disneyland to Paris. Getting around downtown Paris is much cheaper at $2 per trip. There are also unlimited passes available, from $10 for a 1-day-downtown-pass to $60 for a 5-day-full-pass. (more info here) As for visiting the parks, 2 days should be enough in May, but you might want to consider 3 days, to have a more relaxed experience.

  6. It's a pretty big element, the speed will depend on the point of impact as well as the speed of both trains. high speed: train 1 (red) rolling down from the element's exit, train 2 (yellow) coming down from the element's entry mid speed: train 1 standing still at the bottom, train 2 crashes into it low speed: train 1 rolling back up towards the entry, train 2 hits it as its going down very low speed: train 1 going up towards the exit, train 2 hits it as its going up as well
  7. Some "aftermath" footage, showing the two trains stuck together and rolling back and forth in the batwing element...
  8. The park's new "Hot Wheels" stunt show looks awesome!
  9. The new Frozen area is nearing its completion. "Frozen Summer Fun" starts next week (June 1) and lasts until September 13. The main attraction is a new sing-along-show in Frontierland's Chapparal Theater, and the surrounding area has been given a little Frozen makeover, with the shops now selling ice cream and merchandise. In addition, both the parade and the Disney Dreams! nighttime show have new Frozen scenes. And an older photo revealing a little bit of the stage... There will be 6 shows a day during the week in June and September, and 12 in the weekends. In July and August, there will be 12 shows a day, every day. photos: DisneylandBerry & InsideDLParis
  10. A little introduction... where is this park? Daejeon, South Korea when did it open/close? It opened in 1993 as part of the '93 World's Fair. It closed in 2012. what is a kumdori? Kumdori was the name of the World's Fair mascot... It's possible that you've seen pictures of the park's signature ride, one of Vekoma's biggest coasters ever. A whopping 52 m tall (170 ft), 1100 m long (3600 ft) and 5 inversions, including massive back-to-back loops. There were also 2 family coasters: http://rcdb.com/5037.htm Some photos of that huge Vekoma... (from TPR's 2007 South Korea Trip) Robb-o-vision POV: (2007) A walk through the closed park: (February 2015) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH87kGpCjYQ And... it's gone: (April-May 2015) https://instagram.com/roy1147 https://instagram.com/smashfilm https://instagram.com/yeonsoojo Maybe Gutterflower can investigate what is going on? Why did it close? Where are the rides going? .
  11. They've already filmed a new promo video...
  12. Mark your calendars: At this annual event - usually later in the summer - the park talks about the upcoming projects and refurbishments. Speaking of which, the official website has been updated with a new schedule... http://holidays.disneylandparis.co.uk/eep.html

  14. I don't think these particular docks have ever been used. In the summer months, you can rent boats and pedal bikes though... but those use a dock near Disney Village, near the balloon.
  15. And a few theme park ones...
  16. Nighttime and lights add a TON of atmosphere. And you need some smoke to make it really impressive... Some nice ones... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPJcKwtJLTs

  19. You end up with a situation like that on every single Gerstlauer coaster where they didn't build the ride "in order". Each segment plugs into the next with male/female connectors. If you start building from two directions, you end up with a piece that "doesn't fit". Anyway, it was bolted into place this afternoon... It wasn't the "last track piece" though. Two more overbanks coming up... In the turnaround section, water is back in the ponds... photos: Hapa Forum
