  1. Thanks for the PTR! Really? Glad to hear the news train are helping, can't wait to see them on more coasters in the future!
  2. It's cool that they're doing something special for the passholders! Can't wait to finally see a train load of people on this
  3. Yeah, I saw them flying off at various rides. Seems like it would be a better idea to paint the numbers on or something. It was a pretty nice opening day, crowds were light early on but got a bit heavier later. I was afraid the rain was going to be a bit of a problem, but it wasn't too bad and didn't last that long. Kidzopolis looked VERY generic and boring. The old Wiggles car ride that had boards displaying facts about different countries were gone and now the ride just scoots around a fenced in grassy area. Also, the new Go-Kart area looks very plain. They took out a lot of structure and now the area is open to the service road in the middle of the park. Sad to see BBNP gone, but the Go-Karts are definitely a bigger money maker.
  4. No one wants to see that. Keep it in your pants.
  5. Hate to kill dreams or what not, but just consider that there's rumor of Rocky Mountain topper track for just about every wooden coaster in the SF chain.
  6. Awesome report! Nathan's faces are...well...yeah. Can't wait to see SFStL!
  7. Definitely would say The Dark Knight (SFGAm). I dunno why, but I guess it was really the first coaster/attraction at my home park that I followed through the announcement all the way until opening day. Ever since, I've met a LOT of people that hate it, think it was a waste of money, etc. But looking at this thread, at least there's a few others that seem to enjoy it
  8. Looks like they added a few more of the final tower piece being placed! From their Facebook page.
  9. WIP means "Work in Progress" and REL means "Released", usually used in custom scenery threads.
  10. Looks like they're making progress on the slide complex/tower, and I believe they already poured concrete for the pool seen in the lower left corner. Can't wait for this all to open! From the webcam on 4/29/2011
  11. Awesome report! Manta looks amazing, and I remember a lot of the park and shows from when I was little, but apparentely a lot has changed! Can't wait to see more of your reports Will do Ryan! Thanks! I'll make sure you ride the Voyage in the front. Oh, of course
  12. It's kind of sad...but I'm not going to school either. Broadcast here starts at 3:30 AM!
  13. Try here: twitter.com/#!/knottsbrryfarm
  14. Maybe it still has the scent of Mujabubukins?
  15. Looks like the swing portion is up on the tower! I imagine there is still a little ground work to be done before opening. Posted from their Facebook page.
  16. The website looks great, and I remember when they were first building HH, they had a webcam set up! And here's a current view of the webcam, if you're unable to view it:
  17. I still have two more! (And you could also just come over to my house!)
  18. My Big Dipper Coaster seeds came in today! I was very excited to get started, but I had no clue what to do to grow my own Big Dipper, as Prince Desmond did not include any instructions. For your instant-pleasure, I have included a picture tutorial on how to grow your very own Big Dipper Coaster in 4 simple steps! WARNING: Keep coaster heavily guarded from buttered-popcorn yielding women from Ohio. I received two packages in the mail today. It was very hard deciding which one to open first But it turns out that my Big Dipper seeds had arrived from Prince Desmond straight from Nigeria! Step 1: Dig a hole large enough to place teh Big Dipper seed into. Step 2: Place your seed in the hole. [stop giggling.] Step 3: You are going to need to water your newly planted seed. Water from Ohio works best, but anything will do. Step 4: Water your Big Dipper seed. Now you must wait 45 seconds for your brand-new [old] Big Dipper coaster to fully bloom! And voila! You can now start riding your old and decrepit Big Dipper coaster!
  19. Sounds like a cool addition to the water park, and I like what SF is doing lately with the Hurricane Harbors (SFGAm, and now SFA), updating them with newer attractions to draw people in. EDIT: Never mind, as these just seem to be older SBNO slides.
  20. It's always awesome to see TPR make the local news! To tell you the truth, when people ask me what TPR is, I link them to one of these videos
  21. Prince Desmond, you've exceeded my expectations. Can't wait for my very own Big Dipper to arrive!
  22. Does it smell? If it doesn't smell like Anthrax, you should be okay. If it does, RUN AWAY!
  23. Awesome report! I went here once as a kid when I lived in Florida...we never went back!
  24. About the bus thing...in my school district, at least, if your bus is more than 45 minutes late, then you can go home and you're excused for the day from school. I've only have this happen once, but it was awesome
