  1. "Hold Onto Your Spurs" Most likely means hold onto your shoes Suggesting that it's going to be something inverted. Maybe a Inverted Intamin, like Tornado at Parque De Attractiones. They might already have Wicked Twister, but back in the 80's park's had more than one Arrow or more than one Vekoma. Just think about it.
  2. That have to be Hypersonic XLC for me. It hurts so much. I also remember Viper at SFGAm to be extremely painfull.
  3. Very cool. I acually liked the Disk-O seats when I rode the one at Mt. Olympus. I hope they make a larger, longer, park model. That would be sweet.
  4. Eh, I don't like the pointy TTD Nose.
  5. Two Face: The Flip Side for my last coaster. Tower of Doom for last ride.
  6. I would have to say Hades and it's tunnel.
  7. Its a sign...the ride needs to be burnt to the gound!!!
  8. Well, I know you all are going to hate this news but. I went to SFA yesterday, (6/4/06) and indeed Jokers Jinx was closed. The trains were on the track, but no one was to be seen in the station or around the ride.
  9. Well, I'll be getting the status of JJ tomorrow at SFA. Wish me luck!
  10. Waffles eh? I like waffles, I can do waffles. Good choice Robb (or Elissa)!
  11. Yep! Exactly. I was a ride op last summer at CP and every week I put in 70 hours. Not to mention, the humidity there on the lake can be killer. Plus, CP really stresses numbers. They put a lot of pressure on the crews to up capacity, no matter how good you are doing, so you are always moving at a fast rate. That is so true! When I rode Iron Dragon last year. Damn! They were putting out like crazy. It was like a competition who could get the most riders through the gates. It was seriously, get in your seat pull down your restraint check check check, gone, no hesitation. The train would RARELY sit on the brake run. It was amazing compared to SFA. I would think any rodeo by Huss would be hard. Imagine a crowded day and having to go around undoing every harness with that screw driver thing. Yowza!
  12. Wow, It really is an impressive park. Your all right when you say they need an up to day drop dower. A Tower of Power (SFoT) clone sounds right for the park, just with 4 sides instead of 3, like CP.
  13. ^ I agree. Maybe, same ride...different layout? I'm thinking.... custom spaghetti bowl.
  14. OH! Hehe, well that solves it. I just remember last year it was open like random days during the week after Labor Day, then full operation the next week. Thanks ya'll. Robb, you can like delete or close this thread if you want.
  15. Yeah, no I don't belive it. Sorry. If this happened every time a ride malfunctioned, then then we would never have open rides. Seriously, Wild Thing didn't close all the Morgan Hypers, neither did SD2000. California Screamin' didn't close all of intamin's inverters. Two Face didn't close all the Vekoma Invertigos. You catch my drift?
  16. See, thats what I was thinking. But I would imagine they would keep it open during weedays considering its almost summer break and thousands of schools make there trips to the park in these last two weeks of school for Marylanders.
  17. Nah, the coaster isn't rough. It's just extremely hard to hold a camera at 120 MPH
  18. My friend (A very reliable source, I wouldn't doubt her for anything) Went to SFA on Thursday. I did the usual coaster enthusiast thing to do, what rides did you ride etc etc. When I got to HH I asked her if she rode Tornado and all that good stuff. I was surprised to hear that she told me HH was closed. Yes, closed. All day. Now, was it because they were understaffed because school hasen't ended and the majority of the LifeGuards are students? Or is it just SFA resorting to it's old ways. Could someone PLEASE confirm this. I mean...she COULD be wrong. I plan on going on Sunday. I figured, it would be open if it was due to a staffing issue on Thursday. But anywho, thanks for anyone who replies and helps out.
  19. The link doesn't work. It redirects me to some spanish coaster page.
  20. I highly doubt someone with a 70" waist will fit on any rides at SFMW. --Robb I agree with Robb. Sorry
  21. w00t! YES! Score. lol. Don't you EVER do this to me again MF! Colin "Talks to Roller Coasters Like We're Married" Fischer
  22. That is an incredibly good sign. lol you have no clue, I MUST get my exchange student on this ride. . Thanks for the update.
  23. I just checked the site as of 6:21AM Eastern time and when I was on the home page down on the bottom left where it usually says Millennium Force will be closed Today (Or what ever date it is), wasn't showing up. So is it open?
  24. I know this is a question that isn't exactly anything someone would know. But do ya'll think it will be open by the 15th? I'm taking my exchange student from Japan who has been on SD2000 and trying to prove to her that MF is better! . I to have also been on SD2000 and prefer MF but it's still a great ride. But yeah, what do ya'll think? I also just read on the Cedar Point site that Top Thrill Dragster isn't offered for Resort Guests in the mornings anymore. Is that true? That would SUCK! Because last time I used my early entrance on MF, turned out that I ended up waiting like 20 minutes anyway because of all the Joe Cool Club members get in too.
