  1. I was thinking from the start that this would just be a steel-tracked TG, but judging by the new layout elements it looks like a brand new coaster!
  2. Derecho is nice, but you should give a little love to the Parachute Tower; it's nice looking too! In fact, I have a suggestion: Repaint the tower with the white trim changed to blue, and rename it American Eagle. You might be able to even rename Derecho Great American Scream Machine (or vice versa for both), and retheme the whole area to a patriotic village area.
  3. I don't think there's a coincidence yet, because it's only a rumor that this park is getting Chang. I'm not sure if it's really that high maintenance of a coaster, but it is beginning to age. I can't say that I'm really disappointed about it's removal, because it sucked according to many, but it is kinda sad that the 'Standard Layout' Arrow Megalooper will be gone for good, and that I can't say that I got the credit on it. Even so, whatever kind of expansion that comes from it will be great, and I'm sure it'll make SFGAd a better park!
  4. This park is very well done! It's much more than I expected for the contest, actually. I was the one who originally had the idea for the contest, and I got help marketing it from a friend. But he suddenly stopped and it just died. I think I'll restart it, because it really was a great idea.
  5. Poltergeist Maverick Top Thrill Dragster Wicked Twister Vertical Velocity (both SFGAm and SFDK) Hulk Rockin' Roller Coaster California Screamin' Xcelerator Pony Express Montezuma's Revenge Superman: The Escape Favorite: TTD.
  6. I just voted. I'm a NASCAR fan, and I've seen this advertised a lot, so I'm glad I can help participate in this for a good cause.
  7. I wish my mom would let me get one, my PS3 will play it. We need an HDTV in order to enjoy the better quality, though...
  8. StR looks like fun. Being unacceptably wet isn't so bad if it's a very hot day.
  9. That's exactly what I just did! Great park! The storyline is excellent and the park is well varied. I'm thinking an Intamin Giant Drop is in the future of this park... But that's just me.
  10. ^I understand. In this case, I'd build the building first so you have an idea on the area you need/want and how much theming you can place.
  11. I am a waterpark fanboy, and I must say, that appears to generate more airtime than any coaster, drop tower, or other ride I have and/or will ever go on, and am now officially obligated to ride it. Exclamation point! This park seems a lot bigger than it looks in the Index. I expect Larry to get right on to updating the Index page the second he gets back to Long Island.
  12. ^I would build the walls first, so that you have an idea of where the effects go and how much room is avaliable. Did you have a building pre-planned or were you just going to make a building on the spot to fit the wild mouse?

  14. Yay! TPR thinks my soon-to-be-local park kicks !
  15. Those are such cute little tigers! I'm going to ask Captain Lee if he wants help with the tigers next time I'm at SFDK!
  16. I'm glad more parks are beginning to install these new Vekoma trains. They're sexy and look very comfortable. As said, they transform a 'meh...' ride into a 'Yeah!' ride.
  17. I thought you had to convert it into AAC. That's what somebody on Atari Forums told me when I had the same problem a long time ago.
  18. Britan has quite a few smooth Vekoma rides. It also has quite a few rough ones, as most places do, but that's not the point.
  19. I don't see Chang in the SFGAd commercial either. I see Bidusa, but that's it. And I'm also with you that this is just a case of hype that somebody started and now has caught on. I'm sure SFGAd would've announced it by now if it was happening. I remember Alton Towers advertised the removal of Corkscrew a while before it was shut down.
  20. The coasters at Pleasure Beach look pretty jam-packed. But they still look pretty good, especially Pepsi Max Big One!
  21. I agree. Not only do they help with the theme, they actually look a lot more comfortable IMO. I *MIGHT* actually want to ride this coaster now.
  22. That sucks. I have both expansion packs, so maybe that's why you have different folders than me. I'd put it in scenery, in that case.
  23. ^Weird. When I get to Style/Themed, I see a list of the themes that are in my game (I.E. Adventure, Atlantis, IslandParadise, Jungle, etc.) Which expansion packs do you have?
