  1. If they have a decent selection of coasters open for the event, I'd be willing to take the journey down from NY.
  2. the steps were outdoors, the loading zone was not in a 35 foot long building, and the cars were at ground level - clearly not the case here as the queue walkway cuts between the two buildings. if you really think those plans support a le mans revival then I really just don't know what else to say, except that you're wrong. Well to be honest, nobody knows anything...Hence the speculation. Until definitive plans are released nobody is right and wrong.
  3. Are lines for Tempesto actually consistently that long? I didn't make it out to the park this year but I haven't heard of anyone waiting more than 45 minutes or so on a regular operating day. Anyways, while I don't see any possibility of getting to Lake Compounce anytime soon, this looks like a solid addition (and I like the color scheme, btw). I waited about 35 minutes for Tempesto. The ride ops were hauling.
  4. This is going to be a great addition. Not crazy expensive for the park either, hopefully they could add another coaster in a few years.
  5. I'd doubt it being so compact for the high amount of hype they're creating so far... if anything it would be a bit more spread out and custom They would hype up any wooden coaster due to that fact it would be the first ever at the park.
  6. ^ Hell yes to everything I just laid eyes on in that post.
  7. Sorry for the double post but what was just posted in the RMC thread (compact woodie) looks like it could fit it the spot of this new attraction.
  8. Hmmmm, that compact woodie seems like it could fit where BGW's new coaster is going.
  9. Crazy that people used to do this to themselves by riding that thing. I mean look at it.
  10. Outside chance this could be it....But there is already car themed trains on Verboten so I can't see that being it. That being said, "Le Scoot" and "Le Mann's" have been teased, leaving me to believe that the new ride will have the word "Le" in front of it.
  11. I know that over-bank isn't an inversion but boy is it close.
  12. Okay, so this morning on the park's instagram account they announced a new clue is coming soon. The video on instagram is a clip of one of the old Le Mann's cars being driven on a pathway. Now I'm really confused
  13. As for the woodie, I know its been a rumored GCI for forever but I think I'd prefer a gravity group. Something like Ravine Flyer II around the piers.
  14. ^ When it was open, from what I remember, it was a very crowded area most times of the day.
  15. ^ I agree, I'd prefer a coaster with a more compact, twister layout. We already have two out and back beasts with Nitro and El Toro.
  16. This is obviously pure speculation but my reasoning is that with it being a prototype, combined with the steel cost..I'm estimating somewhere between 15-18 million, depending on the size of the coaster.
  17. I think if they do go with a coaster in 2017 it'll be the raptor model (smaller version of a T-Rex) . This might be easier to go with since it is prototype. This could be really cool with a fast paced Intamin blitz type layout.....Hey I can dream.
  18. Of course it isn't how could you get rid of something when we're having this much fun?
  19. ^ People would have said "slow-down" if they knew the park was getting the world's tallest coaster and the best wooden coaster in the world in back to back years. Yes, I know they went bankrupt but the Joker isn't exactly an expensive coaster. Another coaster next year could happen.
  20. With the park modifying some track on Le Scoot, I think its safe to say that this new attraction will be interacting with the flume.
  21. No offense taken, that makes perfect sense. Plus an RMC would really balance out their lineup.
  22. Not really a rumor as much as it is a nice dream but....I would love for Hersbey to re-theme Wildcat to the "Jolly Rancher" and RMC it. The track sections could be all colors of different flavored Jolly Ranchers.
