  1. I'm not getting excited until I see a car filled with people traveling up the lift hill.
  2. It'll SBNO for about two months then open Memorial Day weekend when large crowds are predicted.
  3. I'm not saying it is a bad ride, it is actually one of my favorites as well. I've also never waited over 5 minutes for it even on summer weekends. The idea of it being removed isn't as far fetched as it seems. Some ride ops over at BGWfans say the ride has some of the lowest ridership along with a high operating cost and being a maintence nightmare. The ride location itself makes the perfect area to put a new rollercoaster. Less tree removal would be needed (we know how they love their trees) and it could use the ravine near by for some great terrain elements. Think of this as well, if it is a wooden rollercoaster (whether it be RMC or something else) it makes sense to put it towards the front of the park away from KingsMill. San Marco is one of the only area's in the park without a coaster besides Ireland and England, so I wouldn't rule this out. My speculation is based off of facts I've heard. At the end of the day it is just speculation, but it seems to be a growing idea that Pompii could be removed. Just my .2 cents.
  4. My reasoning for it would be that it has a high operating cost and low ridership. A Mack water coaster re-theme could be pretty cool.
  5. Anyone think that in the video when "drop" is mentioned it could be in reference to a new passenger drop for the train? Possibly a new themed area thats been rumored for years? I also wouldn't be surprised if Pompeii is getting axed. Either for a new coaster or a new improved water ride.
  6. As this coaster goes up I'm falling in love with it more and more.
  7. Its not going to be a "omfg! Super launch!" But it will definitely be a sufficiant speed to create some nice forces going over that first small drop before you hit that drop in the ravine. Me thinks the ejector air is going to be on the insane side.
  8. Wow, it's been a looooooooong time since I've been on the forums... Even if BGW is definitely teasing a coaster or coaster-like ride for '17 [source=they mention a drop in the video below], it's still jumping the gun to definitively say that they're getting an RMC of any variety, let alone a wooden one (although a great wooden coaster would definitely round out BGW's collection). Personally, I'll enjoy riding Delirium this year and will keep my fingers crossed for 2017 at Kings Dominion. #KD2017 [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] But seriously, imagine if both KD and BG DID get a coaster this year. King's Dominion is in no rush to get a coaster. They have I305, Volcano, Dominator and a bunch if other decent coasters. I don't get why the removal of Shockwave has gotten so many people under the influence that they need to replace it with another coaster so quickly.
  9. Yes, the B&M Giga coaster over Clove Road as we discussed.
  10. That is very plausible. I think we could see the boardwalk show building and go-karts gutted for Justice League. If not that, the Batman arena being demolished to make room for a type of RMC that will occupy the Chiller's old area along with the Batman Arena and Freefall's old land.
  11. I too think this will be a coaster of the RMC variety. But It is fun to imagine a terrain Intamin pre-fab at BGW. It would be incredible. A Intamin pre-fab would also be unique seeing we only have one in the United States.
  12. The past knock of a woodie at BGW was that they make too much noise for the Kingsmill residents. RMC's are considerably quieter, so yes this could be a very real possibility.
  13. In the words of John Arnold in Jurassic Park....Hold on to your butts!
  14. Nostradamus, John Edwards and that Long Island medium woman have nothing on me, nothing.
  15. Maybe you need to leave a few more days and come back b/c I don't see all hell broke loose over the color change, from what I've seen it's welcomed. As is the name change, I've seen more people saying the original Total Mayhem name was lame and the colors being compared to Twix and McDonald's so yeah that's my suggestion js You're the one coming out of the woodwork to defend the Joker name . Why did you even give me a suggestion when I didn't ask for one? Oh Just drop it I see I'd be better off talking to a B&M support!!! Listen I don't know what your issue is but you need to relax. Its rollercoasters, it isn't that serious.

I never said once I was sticking up for the original name so I don't know what thread you're reading.
  19. Its going to look great. Nice coaster to compliment Boulder Dash, so happy to have one close to home.
  20. I haven't been on this site in days and I log back on to see all hell has broken loose over a few track color changes and a name change. It isn' that serious. As for the name change, Six Flags is gonna Six Flags, no need to get mad over it. Still going to be a great ride regardless.
  21. I was never really partial to DC, but I don't think it should be removed. Its still a fun ride and a people eater.
  22. Anybody know the angle of the first drop?
  23. Good lord, this thing looks legit. RMC really hitting another home run.
  24. I do agree that Kindga Ka front row provides one of the best ride experiences anywhere. Besides that though, it is just a 25 million dollar mechanical issue.
