  1. I'm sure that Flashback will eventually be removed from the park. It probably wont be for several years, but I don't expect it to stay at the park. A good replacement for it would be an S&S Free Fly if SF continues to put them in parks. Even though Goliath is down often, I don't see the need for two boomerangs. A small footprint coaster such as the Free Fly mentioned above would fir perfectly. I'd suggest a Sky Rocket from Primier as well but Lake Compounce beat them too it.
  2. ^ I agree, Im no tree hugger but certain things need to remain intact that are crucial to the local ecosystem. They have so many other places to stick some ugly solar panels. Part of what makes me like Great Adventre is that it has that element of "being in the woods."
  3. Really not sure what he is going for with that. Was he shaving it, then had to do something and forget to finish it?
  4. Im a year late but this is one of the better posts in this sites history. No meat based products sold at this park during lent.
  5. Yea my cabin fever for riding is at an all time high right now.
  6. I can't say with 100% certainty, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't. Considering they were running it on New Years, I don't think temperature would be a factor here. Awesome, I can't wait for some more crazy airtime on the return run of that ride. Despite not liking it too much opening year, I rode it last year and it vastly improved. Gave me one of the crazier rides in recent memory. Maybe I just learned how to ride it.
  7. ^ Yea I have mine set and ready to go for opening day. Does anyone know if Thunderbolt will be open on opening day?
  8. Goliath is also ear ringingly loud which adds to the intimidation. One of the only rides I've seen where the operators wear ear muffs.
  9. I think that would be a pretty good addition, but I don't think they'd be able to fit Le Man's and a coaster in that footprint.
  10. Can confirm. First ride front row is the nuts. One of the most Bat-Sh*t crazy experiences I've ever had on a coaster.
  11. ^ More importanly now we know your alias, Joseph.
  12. I still have not been up to SFNE, making it a point to make it happen sooner rather than wait til later in the year (like the last two years) and not being able to squeeze it in. I've only talked to at least 4 people about driving up, hopefully one of them shakes out and I can finally ride Superzarro and Wicked Cyclone. Get to the park for opening, ride Superman, WC, Goliath and Pandomonium then hightail it out of there to LC an marathon Bolder Dash.
  13. I think RMC will get their hands on ROAR sooner than later.
  14. I agree, but I won't go into detail why. This has been discussed 500 times in this thread, just skim back some pages and you'll see numerous opinions on this topic.
  15. I believe ThunderHawk does deliver some good airtime, its just painful.
  16. They should scrape some gum off the brake run while theyre at it. Nothing like look down at a 12 year old piece of gum for the 10 minutes they usually make you wait while loading/unloading trains.
  17. It is really sad seeing the condition Playland is in. So much potential just being pissed away, if this Legoland business ends up happening then RIP Playland.
  18. Very cool idea to think about, hope it happens.
  19. Dorney could get a Pinfari for all I care, as long as they actually get an original coaster edition sometime in the next 20-30 years.
  20. Thats because it doesn't make sense to paint Nitro. You barely see any of the track close up, they don't care what it looks like out in the woods.
