As a die-hard Angels fan I was in love with Kendry Morales' walk-off Grand Slam, until he jumped into the ring of players and then proceeded to severely fracture his left ankle. So as of 5-29-10 I'm going to fold up the season for my beloved Angels barring a miracle that we trade for someone. Got back yesterday from my two day trip. X2 was closed most of the day yesterday due to wind but I got to ride it at around 10 PM. The park was somewhat crowded with 45-1 1/2 lines on everything. Had a Gold Flash Pass so that took care if that. But all in all a GREAT 2 days at the park. Every employee was friendly and the ride ops were amazing with how they interacted with the riders. As for the effects Terminator now has no mist and audio but fire. SO we may have to yell Take the Tunnel ourselves. X2 had all effects working. Fun two days at the park. Well I got back from the park last night around 6:30. Went and visited the mall just up the street. But anywho, yesterday the rain was pouring at the 5 and 210 interchange but there was light rain at the park. The park was empty by empty I mean we got to re-ride Terminator about 13 times without getting off and X2 5 times in about 30 minutes. The ride ops were simply amazing at every ride. They were very friendly giving hi-fives, they worked as if they were enjoying the rides and dispatching very well. As I mentioned EVERYONE ran to X2 first so I walked to Terminator and rode it 5 times in a row in the rain. No misters, no audio, but FIRE! X2 had the audio working yet no fire. I blame the rain for that one. But all in all a good day that will get better today with a Gold Flash Pass. On my way to Magic Mountain and yes, It's raining. I'll be sure to post pics of everything tonight and I'm going again tomorrow.

I'll be at the Mountain tomorrow and Friday so I'll go check out the area when I hit Terminator. But as for crowds tomorrow what should I expect? I got money for the Gold Flash Pass on Friday.

That's sad because mist, while it's a little factor, really gives me more experience. I really wish Magic Mountain would bring these back for the anniversary just for that little effect.

^^Eric I was looking at pictures of Goliath in 2000 and there was fog in the first tunnel. Since you were there on Media Day can you tell me if this is true? And if so why did they turn it off? Andrew "I'm a effects freak" Iorio

Ok I'm taking a first-timer friend on the 27th and 28th so I want him to get all the effects, the audi won't be missing much, and looks like I won't mind watching the preshow one more time.

Has the mist on Terminator's tunnels and station Fly-by been working lately? Just curious.
