If someone is concerned about not being the first rider, they have psychological issues that are deeper than their monetary issues. -
How to make a mega trip cheaper?
larrygator replied to Tanks4me05's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Your gas costs for Day 5 are way off, by about 400%. Every time you start your car you will burn 10 cents worth of gas and it appears you are starting it at least 3 times, plus your drive. -

Bring a cooler and always leave in the car with drinks. Replenish with ice each day from the motel ice machine Also, if you order a big meal somewhere you can keep leftovers cold and munch on the rest as a cold snack the next day. Check gasbuddy.com or other gas price sites. Make sure you know the average cost of gas per state (or region of the state). You could save a few dollars per fill-up this way. -
Flat Ride Accident in China

I do, because I read the first post of the thread. -
A fan of wooden coasters and/or water parks would not agree. That's true. But if you weren't necessarily a Gravity Group fan, the dry park has nothing exceptional. If you were that serious about wanting to go to a water park, there's also better options out there in my view. The flat package at Carowinds is better and better run. However, Raven is still a highly rated coaster. There is this thing called Thunderbird that some people are getting excited over. Then there are the intangibles like friendly service, free parking, Pepsi and sunscreen. Personally, neither park is in my Top 10 in the US, but they each have their strengths and weaknesses. There is only a clear cut winner if you are looking at certain attributes.

Flat Ride Accident in China

If I don't trust or ride fair rides in the US. It is scary enough riding permanent installations in China, forget about the fairs. -
In pre-game one analyst called out Devin Booker's weak defense and I have to be honest, I never noticed it before but the Badgers did seem to take it to Booker. It is hard to get a true feel for the personalities of celebrities and athletes. but I've never liked the Harrison brothers and I think Andrew showed his true colors after the game skipping the handshake and his press conferences comments when he thought the mic was off. Not to be completely anti-Kentucky, I really like Willie Cauley Stein and Karl Anthony Towns.

As recent political events have started to dominate this thread I have moved all pertinent posts to a new thread in the Random Forum. No matter how important political events are, we really want to focus on the parks and rides in this Forum. There are plenty of other places to go on the internet to debate politics. Politics are polarizing and we want to celebrate and come together here on TPR and not create factions. I hope everyone respects that request. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=70123 -

I wanted to stop by the Creamery at State College last year but passed by too late in the day. -
If it's holiday in the park and they run even a few coasters (besides the obvious 2) I'll be beyond ecstatic. I wish nobody had suggested this because now I'm in for such a letdown if it's anything else. Does not seen feasible to me to run any major coasters, nor would the event be popular (outside of those living within 10 miles of the park) when there are so many other entertainment options
