  1. Or it could be a new chicken wing quick service food location.
  2. Agreed being able to go through the best house or two without the conga line procession allows the scare actors to focus on you and makes for a great time.
  3. 100% percent chance? OK, thanks for your insight it is much appreciated.

I haven't ridden Hellcat in years, but heard it has gone downhill, and Mitch's Poll result show the same. You never know how Jersey Shore traffic will be on a weekend. My drive times are conservative assuming traffic in the beach areas I would plan 45 minute drive from SFGadv to Jenkinson's One hour drive from Jenkinson's to Seaside Heights 75 minutes drive from Seaside Heights to Steel Pier 45 minute drive from Steel Pier to Ocean City 45 minute drive from Ocean City to Wildwood

It depends on your definition of kiddie coaster. The following suggestion includes family coasters, but you may consider some of them kiddie. After SFGAdv: Jenkinson's: (Flitzer) Casino Pier: Pirates Hideaway Steel Pier: Crazy Mouse Gillian's Wonderland: Runaway Train Playland's Castaway Cove: Flitzer, Python Morey Piers: 6 credits None of the coasters are very good. I suggest Morey Piers last since they have the latest hours. If your GPS is reflective of traffic, use it. The shortest looking route might not be the shortest along the Jersey Shore. If you only want to do the southern most parks I suggest you head west after you leave SFGAdv and turn left to take Route 539 South until it connects directly with the NJ Parkway. Playland's Castaway Cove also has some good flat rides, in particular Tropical Storm, Xtreme Cyclone, Air Race
  6. I didn't realize anyone else in our group had ridden it earlier in the season when I asked the engineer that question. Personally I was embarrassed that it was running so bad, since I raved about it to Robb/Elissa after I initially rode it.
  7. I went back for two more orders of the shrimp dumplings, that was the 2nd best food I ate at any of the Chinese parks.
  8. ^^The only helpful tip is to make sure you know what time each coaster opens, the operating times for the piers are staggered to start the day.
  9. Reese's Xtreme Cup Challenge Pretty awful ride. It's too bad that the person who showed me around the park on my first visit made me ride it 4 or 5 times... It's all part of the initiation process!
  10. Who was the inspiration for Lucy's Crabbie Cabbie?
  11. What do you mean? Why wouldn't it be happening?
  12. It's not track. Red plastic traffic barriers. You can see the area clearly when approaching the parking booths.
  13. PLEASE USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION BEFORE STARTING A NEW THREAD!!!!!!!!
  14. I think the aging of a person greatly affects the ability of the body endure repeated roughness on coasters. On average a younger body can just tolerate more.
  15. http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/2014/08/11/4406797/freestyle-rides-headed-to-vietnam.html?sp=/99/209/&ihp=1 Freestyle rides headed from Myrtle Beach to Vietnam? By Steve Jones sjones@thesunnews.comAugust 11, 2014 Updated 11 hours ago The rides at the former Freestyle Music Park are reportedly being shipped to an amusement park halfway around the world. “All I’ve heard is they’ve been sold and are headed to Vietnam,” said Gina Guglielmi, owner of Intermark Ride Group in Nashville, Tenn. The rides are being dismantled, with the most recent work dismantling the roller coaster known as The Eagles' Life In The Fast Lane, named after one of the band's hit singles from 1977. Other rides at the park already had been sold. Gina Guglielmi said she is the ex-wife of Carlo Guglielmi, owner of Ital International, which is also headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. Ital International had listed a number of the Freestyle rides for sale on its website as recently as last week. On Monday, they were no longer there, and the website said the listings had been removed or the rides had been sold. The 140-acre property hasn’t seen much action since the theme park shut down after summer 2009. The park failed twice in two years, first as Hard Rock Park during the summer of 2008 then as Freestyle Music Park, which operated for summer 2009. Late last year, Freestyle started selling off its rides, listing them for sale by Ital International, which brokers the sale of new and used theme park and amusement rides. Family Kingdom Amusement Park in Myrtle Beach bought several of Freestyle’s rides for its park on Ocean Boulevard. Neither Carlo Guglielmi nor Freestyle owners could be reached for comment by early Monday afternoon.
  16. I think the Mauer-Sohne and Mack spinners spin better than the Gerstlauer ones that face inwards. Though I find the ones with all of the riders on the same side (like the Zamperla ones) spin the best. The two coasters I've ridden that spin the best are Maurer-Sohne creations: Dragon's Fury and Winjas No need to read all the pages, always link to the Press Release first. That's why Robb and the moderators create these links, so people can jump right into the conversation knowing the facts.
  17. What a stupid addition for a FAMILY park. Something different for the park that families can ride together. end sarcasm As long as they keep the effects working I like it! Hopefully the queue will be similar to what Six Flags Mexico did with The Joker. $14 million seems high at this point, but let's wait to see the finish product and details. The only issue I have is Hershey's most recent attempt at an indoor ride.
  18. Someone must have jammed the signal on the cloaking device!
  19. I haven't had any complaints about the SFGAdv bathrooms in over 10 years. The one service aspect of the park I'm been most impressed with in recent years.
  20. ^Definitely fatigue - this is a 10 year old soap opera
  21. Yup, I think they realized that was completely counter productive.
