The fly-by definitely caught me by surprise. Overall it's a good ride. I agree that they need to install chains to get rid of the switchbacks if necessary. If it's slow and you walk through all the switchbacks, there's a good chance a bunch of kids will cut in front of you by going under the rails. There are staff there to prevent that, but there's too few to cover the entire line. Also at the area where the line passes behind a building and back out, people were going under the rails to skip that area. This is all just nitpicking though. Single rider guy, were you at the park this morning?

On Saturday, when I got to the line just after 9:30 it was closed. -
Just a nitpick about lining up in front of the gate.. is it still somewhat disorganized if you're not at the very front? When I went in March the lines got split up and crossed every which way, especially when they ran into the big thing in the middle. Also, you can't easily tell from the back which gates will be open or even where each gate is. For example, once when I went, people lined up on only one side, leaving 1/3 of the gates empty.. the MC came on and said "Just so you know, we also have gates over there *points*" and people rushed to line up at those. It seems like it would be helpful if they painted lines showing where to line up and maybe roped off part of the line area so that after you pass the metal detectors you're routed toward the end of the lines. It would make people more relaxed and less likely to have issues with line jumping or families getting separated. I could be just remembering things wrong though. I can't wait to get back there soon

Hank Hill just got very happy. --Robb That's a clean-burning coaster, I tell you what. -
You will have better luck with an unopened bottle.

Deja Vu and Riddler's that I know of. Both are kind of hard to find. For Deja Vu you have to walk past the exit and around to the other side. For Riddler's you walk up the stairway on the load side.

When I was there last month they didn't lock the restraints until they were sure that everyone had listened and buckled the orange belt. Another question.. has anyone ever been injured by putting their feet on the car in front of them? I see how it could happen if you had your knees locked or something.. "Weeee *crack*"

I believe this has been the cause of most of Tatsu's downtime from day 1. Over/Undershoots are inconsistent so they're hard to fix, and Tatsu's trains have a lot going on with them. It's not really anything you can fix, I mean, unless you wanna replace an already working sensor with a brand new one. So it's a design flaw?

Viper is for short people. It always makes my neck really sore (and I'm only 5'7''). -
Dont you ever get Scared?

X always scared me some. Also, carnival rides scare me because I imagine a bolt coming loose or something and me falling out or my swing flying off into the dark.. -

Yeah, but it wasn't that it had only one side open; it was running much more slowly than it was earlier in the day. Maybe it was because there was a lot more freaked out people and people who had stuff to leave on the platform. One of the ops came out a couple times to tell people not to touch the doors because apparently it was shutting the ride down. Also a lot of people assumed there were 4 seats in the front so that caused some confusion (the signs on the doors are practically impossible to see when the queue is full). I think a sign where the queue splits saying which side goes to which two rows and how many seats are in each row would be very helpful. There was a large group of kids who decided that they wanted row 3 instead of 2 so they just ducked under the bar. I know these are kind of nitpicky things, and they didn't bother me that much.. but as long as someone is reading this, might as well mention it. I didn't get the name of the op on Viper, she seemed a little older than the rest of them though and she kept saying "Viperrrrr.... bwa ha ha ha". It was about 5 pm when I was there. If I wasn't so tired/lazy I would have gone to guest relations and left a (positive) comment about it (the gum thing). Also near closing I was walking around in the Looney Tunes store and when I left the lady at the register said "Thank you." (I didn't buy anything) It's a minor thing but a lot of those make a difference.

I went to MM today.. overall it was good.. On Viper someone stuck their gum on the floor while in the train and the main op made them pick it up and throw it in the trash. I got in line for Superman at about 7, it was going slowly and there was this really loud and obnoxious group of high school kids, and everything echoes in there.. Also in part of the tunnel, the fans were turned off. I don't know if it's always like that since I've never waited in that part before. Also, Sky Tower was closed around noon, I saw the employee walking up to close it and he said it was due to high winds. It was breezy on and off throughout the day, but I guess the wind is a little stronger at the top. I walked by it a couple times later and never saw it open. Gold Rusher ran one train the entire day, but everything else I rode seemed fine.

LOL. Now I wanna see someone do this on X

I looked at public transportation from Disneyland to MM on a weekday; you're looking at about 3 1/2 hours to get there w/4 transfers along the way, assuming you leave a little before 6 a.m. I didn't look at the return trip (you would be leaving early for sure though), but round-trip cost would be about $26/person. I would only do this as a last resort though.
