  1. Am I the only one that thinks it looks perfectly fine? I think it fits nicely both up-close and in the skyline of the park.
  2. Most obvious clue that this park was based off of RCT: Almost all the rides in the concept are placed at 90 degree angles
  3. That looks so yummy. Since I can't make up my mind between wood and steel, I'm just going to start calling it a stoodie coaster since it's really a mixture of both
  4. Such sage advice, Prince. I will place it in my signature to honor your words of wisdom. I can't wait to have the warmth of 34,780 suns protecting my table!
  5. In case the box goes boom, attach scissors to a really big stick and open it from far away. If you are too close, the spirit of Mujabubkins won't be able to protect you!
  6. I just turned my house upside-down looking for RCT2 and I still can't find it Guess I'll have to wait until next time....
  7. Nice pics! You managed to get me waiting for the Bite II tour. I'm the guy with the Take the Tunnel shirt on: Take the Maze
  8. After what I saw at lunch at WCB yesterday, I don't think that's going to be a problem for some TPR members
  9. About to get in the car to head over to the mountain! Hope its not too wet today
  10. Looks like I'm going to have to go to Texas on my way to Florida on my way to Dubai on my way to China. What's one more stop? If anyone has the inside scoop on the next winning lottery numbers, drop me a PM.
  11. That makes sense. I definitely wouldn't put it past them have a few surprises. Guess I'll just have to wait and see
  12. gahhh I can't wait! Any particular reason why Superman isn't included in the ERT?
  13. I deserve this job because I'll kill anyone to run three trains without stacking on Tatsu. This I think TPR members should try to fill every possible position at a Six Flags park and watch it become the best park of all time.
  14. ^if it really was the fault of the man that was thrown off, then I don't see why there would be any reason to keep it closed for any length of time after inspections. It's always sad news when something like this happens. I hope the park can make a quick recovery after having multiple incidents in a short period of time.
  15. ^ why? Just because it got sold doesn't mean it's any different/worse. It might end up being better in the long run, anyways
  16. I have a couple of ideas about what surprises are ahead that would entail more money, but I'm keeping quiet for now. I can't wait to see what it is though.
  17. So amazing on so many deep, emotional levels. It makes me really happy after the depressing tr. Gives me a lot of hope for 2011. I can't wait to see what's in store for us! EDIT: hey, 100th post! and what a great thread to have it in
  18. I missed out on the discussion, but the new header looks awesome! It really looks fresh compared to the old one
  19. This. Every time I go I can't count any more than 5 ops actually working. If there's ever any more, they just kind of stand around doing nothing. Also, I don't think its the putting the stuff on the side time that makes it so long, it's really just the amount of time they take to check/unlock/relock/recheck trains. People put stuff on the side for Scream and Deja too, but they're both more efficient in my opinion. Again, I don't know about other people's experiences, just my own. At least it's not as bad as it used to be when it first opened!
  20. All hail Prince Desmond. By the way, Domo Kun > scam donation any day!
  21. As I said before, I'm sticking to the idea that SFMM was basically issued pocket-change as a budget since SF is having to spread the wealth between all of there parks because of the licensing (I'm sure they don't want to file ch 11 again!). There's no way they'll keep this up...it has to be temporary. Another thought: It's possible that since this is one of the busiest times of year for high school and college students, they are running low on staff. It could be a reason for lack of clean-up and shoddiness of parking attendants.
  22. Although depressing, I truly believe that all of this stuff will get fixed really soon. Can you imagine how hard it must be for these guys to keep up the park when they have to deal not only with so many major changes due to licensing, but also with the construction and demolition of rides? I don't even want to know what they're going through right now. SFMM isn't like most parks that have a real off-season because of the weather, so you can imagine that since they can't just do all their work without guests, there's going to be things that aren't pretty and nice to look at. Things like the mock up sign for Apocalypse are probably just temps to keep people from not being confused until the real season starts in the spring.
