  1. That's just how disgusting, disrespectful and lazy people are. They probably havent heard of something called a trashcan.
  2. 1. Make Goliath's tunnel all misty and red so it looks like your diving into the bowls of He// 2. Tell the riders on S:TE, prior before the launch, that a piece of the track broke and that they are unable to stop the launch (Probably wont work but I'd do it just for kicks , and then probably get a severe talk to with the supervisors) 3. Theme Log Jammer or Splashdown to a werewolf stalking the hills, and have the area dressed up with broken cages, scattered artificial body parts, have the employees you have to sit by the drops and lift hills all bloody and everything, and of course have an employee in a werewolf costume before the final drop or theme one of them to the upcoming Trick 'r Treat film by Warner Bros. 4. Yeah definately some scare zones in the walkway under Revolution. Or at least a new maze.
  3. Guess it just comes down to how committed you are to your job then
  4. Like how lazy ride ops can be, thus partly ruining the experience of a good ride? Thats one of the things I get peeved about. I dont mind if the ride ops are talking and checking the restraints, sending off trains, etc., just as long as they are doing their job. But when they turn about every ten minutes to realize there is a train waiting to be loaded and sent off while there another in brake run ready to unload its passengers, that's when the supervisor(s) need to get on their a$$es or have them fired.
  5. A little off topic but: What is Hurricane Harbor's ticket price versus Raging Waters' San Dimas and which is the better water park? My dad is thinking about taking me and my sisters in two weeks but wants to know the prices for both, and obviously which is the bigger/better park.
  6. ^ Your welcome You know I never knew that as General Manager & Director of Maintence (sp?) and Engineering, Tim also designs rides himself and sends them off to the manufactor, until he talked about Tatsu. I always thought it was always the coporation's own engineers that designed the ride (like in Terminator's case).
  7. The Season Pass just posted their interview with Tim Burkhart and Jay Thomas that I thought I'd post: http://seasonpasspodcast.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=506848 http://www.blubrry.com/player/?p=6480
  8. Well I mentioned the X-car lap bar as something of a visual reference rather than literally having that sort of lap bar. As for the floorless aspect, well we hardly get floorless coasters taller than 140ft, so wouldnt a floorless train at the top of a 230ft lift be idk maybe a little more thrilling, fun, etc.?
  9. One thing I've always like about SFHH is the look and feel of the park, which I know isnt saying much but I havent been there very often. A random question: I wonder what it would be like if Goliath's trains were floorless and had a X-Car style lap-bar instead of a regular lap-bar or OSTR?
  10. ^^I'm sure the girl's family never even heard of Intamin. Most of GP probably dont know the names of the companies who design and build their favorite rides. http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Thread/54812.aspx
  11. Six Flags did sue Intamin for the Superman Tower of Power accident, as well as the cable's manufactor
  12. What about the Terminator Salvation clone that Shapiro said one of the parks was going to get? I feel it certainly proved itself here at SFMM, so maybe SFKK might be the one to get it. Its inexpensive as far as coasters go and its size makes it perfect as 'stepping stone' for kids to move up and conquer the bigger rides, while of course being thrilling enough for teens and adults.
  13. What does the Xtreme Pass include? I've had only just the regular SP.
  14. ^ Depends on the g-forces of each individual coaster, and of course what your body can handle. The more intense the g-forces of any particular part of a coaster, especially Goliath's helix, added with 90+ degree heat, and the chances of you graying out increase.
  15. The cars do not go up as high because the ride is no longer as fast as it used to be. To the extent of my knowledge, what did S:TE intitial launch in was poor maintence and numerous breakdowns. And S:TE is a maintence nightmare
  16. Looks like a great attraction! I hope SFMM's Hurrican Harbor will get this ride as its new attraction (if it can fit within the waterpark)
  17. Well with their Facebook pictures showing off the trains being put on the track, they probably have been testing (or will test) the trains this week. Wow. Only a little over a week left !
  18. ^ I wonder if they'll put anything near the fly-through. Like have a Termintor shooting at you or something.
  19. ^^A friend of mine hates all wooden coasters because of Psyclone. Thankfully Termy will cure what bad rep Psyclone left behind. ^ Because the GP are mostly full of idiots, who, when roller coasters are concerned, go on one bad ride and assume all rides of the same type are horrible.
  20. Anyway yeah getting back to the topic at hand, the ride continues to look better every day
  21. Well maybe Terminator just might set a better stanard for SF theming their rides. Yeah they might not be up to Disney's or Universal's stanard of theming, and I doubt they ever will, but better a great looking ride + ok theming is better than nothing at all! Even if the theming doesnt necessarily fit the ride.
  22. Finally trains are here. Have to sorta agree with Elissa, as they arent what I expected. At least they are here though
  23. ^^I could not have said that any better. Its amazing how fast this ride went up, and now its almost here, ready for us to enjoy for the coming years. We'll have to shift gears soon and watch out for the 2010 coaster's construction.
  24. Oh no doubt its for the money. I'm just saying, I think its just as efficent if not a bit more efficent.
