The new trains look quite stylish -
Yes. And it'll be called: Snakes and Tarantulas on a Family Coaster. And instead of having onboard audio, there will be randomly placed speakers with Samual Jackson saying, "I've had it with these *bleep* snakes and tarantulas on this *bleep* coaster!" All joking aside, I'm just asking this for the sake of asking it, but might the new coaster be themed to one of 2010's movies (once again, without onboard audio or fire involved)?

I'm rather sad at that. Not that I like Wiggles World at all, but it'd bring in the more family-friendly atmosphere Six Flags is striving for in all of its parks. Thomas Town's failure I believe was just the fact that it was poorly placed, since we all know the right side of the park is the less popular area. Wiggles World would be more successful since it would have most likely ended up in the area between Freefall and Tidal Wave. In regards to Terminator's theming, I really think SFMM's efforts are underappreciated. It may not be Universal or Disney, but its still pretty good theming.

Seems Hollywood still loves to use SFMM as a set. Although after Zombieland I wonder what movie has SFMM in it? http://hometownstation.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18144:movie-magic-clarita-2009-10-20-11-57&catid=26:local-news&Itemid=97 Since Zombieland is slightly SFMM related, what did you guys think of it? Personnally I thought it was okay. Special effects were neat and it had some good laughs...especially the one that involved Bill Murray.

I'd have no doubt in saying Wiggles World will have at least one or two children's rides, just like Thomas Town wouldnt be Thomas Town without some sort of Thomas The Tank Engine themed attraction. But seeing that, as you mentioned, the '2010 coaster' was not elaborated on-and I dont think the guy even asked Shapiro about it during the conference call-, nor was Wiggles World. What I gotta ask if its possible that Mark let slip the mention of a third attraction (the children's ride) that is not obviously Wiggles-related? And if they do receive a Dark Knight or a Tony Hawk ride, I hope the layout will be at least completely different.

So, any thoughts on maybe SFMM possibly being involved in the Ride Rotation program for next year? Mine are that the only rides I can see going are Scream!, Deja Vu, Batman The Ride, and maybe Riddler and Goliath. I say that only because they seem to me like the easiest rides to remove and rebuild (except obviously Goliath). But seeing that I love SFMM's coasters, even Scream! to some degree although I also wouldnt mind it being removed, I hope they are even considering the Ride Rotatoin program

La Ronde Discussion Thread

Obviously you dont know that Six Flags is no position right now to build anything above 100ft tall. They were more or less in the past, and might be in the future, but they definitely wont be doing such a thing presently. -

I think this ended up being La Ronde's consolation prize for beating X2 in the Tournament -
TPR's China/Japan 2009 Trip!

Do the Japanese have some kind of love affair or something with catwalks on every inch of their coasters (at least the Togos)? In all of the pics I've seen of these types of coasters in Japan, I never understood why the catwalks are everywhere on their rides whereas for most coasters in Europe and America just have them on the lift hills, mid course brakes and brakes.
