New trains, eh? I wonder if they'll make the ride any less painful...

We were planning on doing a road trip all over the state, visiting landmarks and going camping and stuff like that. We were going to visit New York City as well, of course. So Six Flags Great Adventure would probably be good for a day trip from there. Thanks for the tips.

Basically, I'm going to New York state sometime this Summer. It'll be my first time in the United States... EVER!!! (Yes, I am very sad and pathetic) Getting to the point, does anybody know any decent to good parks in or near New York state suitable for a day trip? Emphasis on decent to good.

Vekoma recently unveiled their new flying coaster idea, the "Stingray", at IAAPA this year, which looks something like this: What's more, Suzhou Giant Wheel Park in China has already began construction on one of these and is planning to open it this year. It will be the park's first and only roller coaster (if RCDB is to be believed), and it looks really cool.

Faint - Linkin Park

Hi everyone! I'm Troy, I'm 14 and I'm from Ottawa, Ontario (Canada, eh?). My first credit was the Great Canadian Spine Buster (sorry, Mine Buster), and my favourite roller coaster is Goliath in LaRonde. I've been to pretty much every major theme park in Canada (all 2 of them, lol) and also Galaxy Land in the West Edmonton Mall which has the world's largest indoor roller coaster, unfortunately I was literally only half an inch too short to ride it. Luckily, it made up for it by having really short lines for everything, my brother and I were able to pretty much ride the Space Shot, get off, go to the entrance, and get back on again! Anyway, my major interests other than roller coasters are video games, Japanese anime, video games, Invader Zim, Robot Wars, video games, and video games. Did I mention I like video games? Anyways, 'lo and all.
