Forst Files-Nicole's park adventures
sspaz1000 replied to sspaz1000's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
As promised here is Hersheypark from September 2010. My friend who I visited up in Toronto in May (the Canada's Wonderland pics) came down to visit me for the weekend. I took her to Hersheypark because she had heard about Fahrenheit and wanted to go on it. Then we also did the touristy stuff in Philly where I found out my old High School English teacher is now a park ranger at the Liberty Bell. Go figure! But onto the good stuff you came to see, pictures. Jazz and I on the tram into Hershey. The main reason why we went to Hershey instead of other parks in the area. Straight up sexiness. Wildcat. I used to love this coaster. Now not so much. It leaves me so battered and bruised that it's not worth it. SooperDooperLooper. Glad to see for 2012 it's getting some TLC. Great Bear and Storm Runner. Sexy coasters. Yes, I like Great Bear. Deal. I got to meet the Reese's guy! Fountain statue of Milton Hershey. Year sign. Yes, I'm that short. I barely make it past Jolly Rancher height. Signage. Who doesn't love singing cows about chocolate? Store! Yes, I overspent there, and yes it was fun. Comments and donations to Coasting for kids are love! Next up will be one of the Teaser photos that no one has guessed yet! -

What is your next park?

First up is Great Adventure next week. Then Knoebels Opening day, followed by Great Adventure on Apr. 29th. So that's a pretty good start to my coaster season. -

^Yes, I think Laurie had the potato salad and told me I had to try some. I just remember overall very good food there, and now that I've found their spaghetti sauce at my local Weis grocery store it's all I use now. -
Agreed. I've set up a reminder as well. I've been keeping track of peoples pages and when April's pay comes along. I'll be donating to some of the ones who aren't quite at their $75 minimum. Also, in my Forst Files thread, the Delgrosso's report has gone up. Hershey Park will go up tomorrow and a couple more early next week! Also there on page 2, there are some Teaser photos, there are still a couple that haven't been guessed. Go play along!

^Correct! Ok, here is the Delgrosso's report! This is from August 2010. Back in 2010 Laurie and I did Lakemont and Delgrosso's in the same day as they are only a few miles apart. Park Map. Park sign. View of the park from the walkway on the other side of the highway. Water Park. It's not huge, but I think it's definitely fitting of the area. And even though it was overcast by the time we got there. It was still busy. Another shot of the water slides in the park. Wacky Worm credit! Front Seat POV shot of the Wacky Worm! Quite possibly the best sloppy joe I've ever had. And their pasta sauce is amazing as well. Spinning dragons. Didn't ride, but they were colorful and cute. Crazy Mouse. My first spinning coaster. Wasn't a huge fan of it since I had to drive after riding it. But it wasn't horrible. Drop tower ride. The view was cool, but it messed up my neck while riding. Train Ride. Nice relaxing break from walking around. Last but not least, my prizes I won while I went skeeball crazy. So there you have it Delgrosso's Amusement Park. Remember if you want to see Hersheypark from 2010, TPR NE Trip 2011, (Knoebels x3), Dutch Wonderland, Great Adventure from 2011, and reports from earlier years donate to my coasting for kids page! -

Yes, so true most have seen them on Facebook, but a nice stroll down memory lane will be fun.
