  1. ^Oh yeah. Best part of the NE trip. I still talk about that and laugh.
  2. Loving this update. Universal Japan looks awesome!
  3. So I'm bringing back this thread. I posted about it in the Coasting for Kids thread. I figured people might want some visual incentives. So here are some teasers for you. DCA Pre-World of Color. Where am I from? Where am I? Clue, not in the US. What a pretty sight. Where could I be from? I'm a Crazy Mouse. But which Crazy Mouse? What happened here? Why does Elissa have the "Nothing good can come of this" look on her face? So if you want to guess at where some of these are from, and want to see more, you know what to do. Donate to my page for Coasting for Kids!
  4. I just donated back to you as well. What type of dog is Lacey? She seems to have just as much fun with dressing up as my parents dog Frankie does.
  5. Is the squirrel picture from The Great Escape?
  6. Ok, I know I can't compete with other people to get people to donate to me but I'm going to resurrect my Forst Files thread, if I get $5 more. I'll finish out my 2010 reports. Then if I get $10-20 more I'll work on 2011 reports. Now 2011 will include awesome updates from the TPR NE trip which has some highlights of No Power in French Canada, Rolling Back a kiddie coaster, and more! If I get $30 I'll dig around the vaults of old, and do PTR's from 2009 and earlier. (2009-Disneyland, Seaworld, DCA, etc) 5 or 6 year old me is saying, "I'm having so much fun!" And for all you convention type geeks/nerds whatever you classify yourself as, I can upload pictures of SDCC, NYCC (2009, 2010). I've also got Zoo pictures (Philly, San Diego, DC). I can't think of anything else to offer up right now, but if someone has an idea for my thread I'm open to suggestions.
  7. Great updates! Can't wait to see more!
  8. Watching some of the videos again, this coaster is getting me excited for summer.
  9. Wow, I don't remember that picture from Quassy!
  10. Intro: I'm Nicole. I've been a TPR member since 2007, and TBH, initially I was intimidated by TPR. Then I realized, that I have the same sense of humor as a lot of TPR members and since then the rest is history. Celebrating my 100th coaster on the 2011 TPR NorthEast Trip. I decided to do Coasting for Kids, because it takes charity and combines it with roller coasters. Some of my first roller coasters were in Ocean City, Maryland at Trimpers rides and Jolly Roger. At first I never really realized that the Toboggan was a coaster, it was just fun. Now I ride because I love going to parks, and meeting new people. ETA: If I reach $50 in donations, I will resurrect my Forst Files thread and finish doing PTR's for my 2010 Season. If I reach $75 in donations, I'll add in my 2011 season to the Forst Files. If I reach $100 in donations, I'll keep my Forst Files thread up to date for the 2012 season. If I get more than $100 I'll think of something that will be mentioned at a later time.
  11. Throwing in the third vote for Great Adventure. Lots of coasters, and I agree crowds usually don't start hitting great adventure until Memorial Day weekend, and then mid June as soon as school is out.
  12. ^by the end of this Chris, you'll probably have to pick me up and drag me out to my car. This is the last event in my two months of being uber busy.
  13. I joined! https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/nicoleforst/DorneyPark
  14. That looks like it was a blast. I think that is a bucket list item I want to add now, lol.
  15. Do it! What could be more fun than hanging out with other TPR people and riding a coaster for 6 hours for a good cause. What's the worst that's gonna happen, the coaster chosen to marathon will be Woodstock Express I still need the Woodstock express credit, lol. Still working on logistics of the weekend, since I'm in Baltimore Friday and Saturday. May head home Saturday night to be closer to Dorney on Sunday.
  16. That's great big mike. I've never really watched people's court. But any show taping is fun to experience.
  17. If someone could invent a time machine, or a teleportation device, I'd sign up for valleyfair, but I'm just a tad too far away. Still debating on signing up for Dorney park.
  18. Come on people get to at least $75 I want to see his kiddie coaster whoring skills!
  19. ^Yes, donating was one of the easiest things, to do. Still contemplating on signing up for this. Since I'm doing the WalkMS in May, I'm not sure I'll be able to swing this in June. But good luck to all who participate.
  20. Big mike I'm sure more people will start posting in the next couple weeks or the contest. Coaster season doesn't start until early-mid April for me anyway.
  21. ^ neither, Jim's on south street I always love going to the liberty bell when I head into the city. Love it even more now that my high school English teache retired and became a park ranger there, lol. It's a shame you saw independence hall with its lovely scaffolding on. It's looking pretty good now that the work is done.
