^ LOL Thank you Wes. And thank God I work at the park and get in free whenever I want, lol. That is pretty damn ridiculous though that they're charging that much now. At what point do they stop raising prices? I can't imagine the park hitting a $100 entry fee without a backlash unseen before. The other day @ belts on Indy there was a receipt left there... $400 for a family to get in of 6. Cash. Holy crap. Seriously... no other park (chain really) charges this much... maybe it's for all the damn costumes they have for the Cast Members, lol.

CROWDED! Not crouded... seriously. And Disneyland sold out almost every day this past week and a half. Christmas Day and New Years Ever were no exceptions.

Yes! I got called racist that night while working Crowd Control making everyone continue on through Frontierland going to Pirates and turning left to get into Adventureland, blocking that side entrance as it was a one-way only. I guess a white guest slipped by, then a black guy and his fam saw that and he straight up called me racist so I said F that just go through if you're gonna be like that. Good times.... Don't remember seeing you guys though, definitely would've said something seeing a DK shirt.

2006 and on is going to be a big time of changes in the amusement industry, with I'm betting at least 1/4 of American parks gone in the next 8-10 years.

They make the ride's height restriction for a reason. Obviously, Disney and its lawyers and CalOSHA believe 46" is the minimum height to ride Indy. Anything else, is UN-safe. I'm on the ride, so if you come by and I'm working at one of the height check areas, if there's anything less than a finger width of space between your child's height and the sign, no-go. Edit: wow, well there goes that post... next time I'll read through all the way, lol.

OK, just wanted to get this off first... I've been around a long time (1999... for me a long time, lol) so I've usually taken rumors and what not not too seriously, but this just seemed real... so yeah... We just returned home from Arizona where my Mother will be moving in a few months and during a conversation with our real estate person she mentioned how Six Flags recently purchased land in nearby Surprise, AZ, not too far from Phoenix. Didn't get too much into size and what not, but I just thought ya'll would be interested in hearing that, true or not. Anyone from that area of AZ around here that would maybe know how to find out if it's legit or not?

Sky Tower : 380ft (Approx.) S:TE : 415ft It still could be taller than S:TE elevation wise... Sky Tower's at the peak of the mountain, while S:TE is down the hill a bit, maybe not 35 feet further down, maybe not, but there is a pretty good descent from ST to S:TE.

So some photographer took our pic when myself, Allison (my fiance), RacerBret from WC and his friend were sitting in the back of Tatsu for a local newspaper and got our names/info afterwards and said he was with a local newspaper... was wondering if anyone around the area got a paper from today and saw any pix that could possibly be w/ us in it. Or a list of local newspapers in the SCV. Thanks.

Hopefully you're being sarcastic. If not, Allison, Myself, Dan, and the 10 others or so who did 5 rides in a row (for nothing!... another story) say otherwise. But yeah, we were on Revy when it braked too hard, believe it was the second of the 5 tests they did with us on it.

Silver Bullet is the longest, tallest, and fastest inverted coaster in the West. I don't see how you don't think this thing isn't "special," it's incredible. and Xcelerator, yeah... being the first coaster of it's kind surely wouldn't make that anything that could be considered "special" too, right? Please...

Have you ever seen them live? The only thing that gets played over is the horns and very few tech beats, which he created and plays through an iPod. Other than that it's all them.

I know there's a lot of fans here of this band, especially after reading the choose a song for the next coaster dvd topic.
