Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!
natatomic replied to Meteornotes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Totally different situations. On Youtube, the most random searches can come up with even more random videos, and the more tags you add, the more likely your video will appear in a search. As for Nantimi was probably mostly found through coaster websites which have a rather limited audience (i.e. coaster enthusiasts). You could probably narrow it down even more to only people who are interested in Hersheypark's new roller coaster. Not exactly a wide audience. Youtube, on the other hand, is not restricted to a specific topic or hobby - it actually covers just about anything (on a whimsical search, I found 144 videos for "nose flute") so it attracts a MUCH bigger audience. Soooo, kind of apples to oranges. -

DANG. I kept expecting small streams of vomit to come spiraling out at any moment during that video. -

I think orange Starbursts are ridiculously overrated. Also, some people need to learn how to spell ridiculous.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

When I worked at WDW as a CM, I started out in the toll booth (NOT fun), but it was suggested of us to greet the guests with, "Are you going to Magic Kingdom today?" just because so many people were actually either lost or going to a resort which doesn't require a parking fee. Anyway, whenever I would ask that, I'd get about 3 people a day who would respond with, "Is that Disney World?" Duh. I also was asked how to get to Universal at least once a day. I guess they didn't see that GIGANTIC WDW sign that they had to drive under about 5 miles back. And then when I was transfered to Splash Mountain (yay!), I every other person would ask me, "So, do you get wet on this ride?" Eventually, I got so exhausted of the question that I smartly began to lead them by the hand to the answer: Me: "Which ride, again?" GP: "Splash Mountain." "Hmm...Splash mountain. Splash Mountain. A Mountain that involves splashing. You know, I think there's a pretty good chance that you might." One time a lady asked to speak to a manager because she got too wet. D'oh! Who knew that could happen on a water ride? -

6/10 History was never my best subject, coaster-related or not. -

They selected those who got involved in the game. It wasn't forced on anyone, but it was open to everyone. Plus, I think the REAL arguments were between those who believed HP3fan about already knowing what the coaster was going to be and those who didn't believe him. And that was ENTIRELY unrelated to Nantimi. -

I know, the joke's on them, right? As for the other 7, I saw someone on coasterbuzz got the e-mail. That brings it up to five. As for the ride, I think it looks awesome. I personally love beyond-vertical drops, gimmick or not. They really get you out of your seat, and as a coaster enthusiast, that's what I LIVE for. The Norwegian Loop looks amazing - can't wait to try that out. And I really like the vertical lift - I loved it on Mystery Mine, so I'd imagine I'll love it just as much on Fahrenheit. Props to Nantimi. This announcement was the greatest. -

^11 of us definitely got more than just the sneak preview. And even without a reward at the end, the challenge of seeing if we could figure it out is fun for me. It's not always about end result. The journey is usually what makes it great. -
Ok, so there is something to the GottenBaklavaCompulsion.. Took me forever to figure it out. If you want to play the game, then I'll just give you a hint: There is more than one. This is the other. But whose? Mix it up a bit, and don't forget the dots. If you really couldn't care less about the puzzle-solving aspect and just want the answer, then 1) how sad and 2) highlight the area below for Nantimi's latest clue: lukenanavati.blogspot.com
