  1. ^Yeah, it definitely looks like the puzzle itself is upside-down.
  2. ^r1 c5. I looked at the image properties. Firefox doesn't show any rollovers.
  3. You know, it's going to be like a scavenger hunt trying to find all these people with the pieces. There are a LOT of coaster forums out there. I wonder, though, what the "Play nice," part is for. Do they think we're going to be slitting throats and killing puppies in order to find all the pieces? And since this was called "Phase 10," I really am starting to lean towards the Intamin Multi-Looper. My guess is 150-170ft tall, vertical lift, vertical (maybe beyond vertical) drop, with 10 inversions. I know it doesn't sound likely - especially for Hersheythefamilypark, but that's the conclusion I keep coming to with all these clues. ^And holy crap, I never thought of that, and while I doubt it would happen, that would be incredibly awesome. Goll, thanks a lot for getting my hopes up.
  4. ^Aw, tell him to come on over here. It's where all the cool kids are. Plus, we really need that piece. Also, those of you who are getting the e-mails, what are your messages? Are the all the same, or do you all have different numbers?
  5. I got my e-mail. The subject was "25." This is what it said: You are one. Play nice. And here's my "clue" they gave me (EDIT: it has a file name of hp_r1_c3.jpg): The second half almost looks like it's upside-down. You can kind of make out trees and a "skyline" of sorts. Anyone else think it looks like a support beam?
  6. History class can suck it. Pwahahaha
  7. ^That's alright. It took me a few moments to link the two as well.
  8. ^I think it stands for "silver and orange" which was a clue mentioned in another recent Nantimi announcement. It was discussed about 5 or so pages back.
  9. ^Ask and thou shalt receive, I suppose. Still waiting on a response though. You'd think they'd respond back since it's going to be announced in just over a week.
  10. Caption contest, eh? I'll give it a shot. Lou: Why didn't he look that pleased when he was riding me? What ever will this do to my high-class British Porn Star reputation?
  11. ^^I thought the same thing about our IDs being stolen. But they only wanted our name, birthday, and e-mail address. You can find that info on ANYONE with a quick online search, so it's not like we're giving our life secrets away. Now, had they asked for my SSN, credit card #, address, phone number, blood type, favorite pizza topping, bra size, and the promise of my first born THEN I may have thought twice...
  12. ^Good. So I'm not the only one wringing my hands in anticipation. This whole thing has gotten so odd and elaborate, I don't think one can help but be at least somewhat curious.
  13. I think something else is about to come out regarding this project. Anyone else get a message about "Phase 10"?
  14. Yeah, you're not kidding - that would be a twist. I mean, especially for me. I never even suspected myself. Wow, I'm my own double agent. Dang, I must be good.
  15. ^Oh, wow. Yeah, definitely didn't catch all that. I thought that there might have been more to the paragraph other than just the straight-forward colors (Base64 did catch my eye), but I definitely have no knowledge on any of that other stuff. I mean, come on...I'm a girl, so I think that me being this much into roller coasters is enough geek-dom for me. But yeah, I was wondering where that puzzle picture came from...
  16. I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but the Nantimi site now has been updated with this: Donan Michael, formerly with Hibernate Systems in Boston, has accepted the position of Web Security Developer. He comes to us with twenty years of security expertise, starting with his post-graduate work on the IAB Privacy Task Force. He is a specialist in BASE64 encryption, and his landmark paper on Privacy-enhanced Electronic Mail, completed in 1987, helped define many of our modern-day encryption standards. Donan graduated from Grinnell College in 1982 with a Ph.D. in physics. His favorite colors are silver and orange. I shall hazard a guess that we now know what the colors of the coaster will be.
  17. "Thanks also to ‘natatomic’ for keeping it light." Wow, I got a shout-out in the interview. I'm flattered. :} -Natalie "I don't even have 40 posts yet" Visage
  18. ^Just the one or two in Florida.
  19. This is by far my favorite TR I've ever read. I hope you guys take another Japan trip in the future - maybe by then I'll have enough money, be over my paralyzing fear of flying, and be be cool enough to join you guys.
  20. ^I don't think they froze it, they probably just took screen shots until they got a copy of every picture. I think you do that by hitting Alt+PrintScreen on your keyboard. Then just paste the image into Paint or Photoshop and crop out the excess stuff.
  21. Right, I'm not talking about modifying a ride to add a pre-drop to it. I'm just saying that if you want a coaster to have a 300ft drop, but you also want to have a pre-drop, then build the coaster to be 310ft tall (or however much taller it needs to be to have the pre-drop).
  22. ^I, personally, was never under the impression that the average enthusiast was of high intellect to begin with. j/k
  23. ^Why else would they use the name "Nantimi" though, when it's such an obvious anagram for Intamin. Unless that's where "things are not always what they seem" comes in to play. Like they want to throw us off the proverbial track, like I said earlier.
