  1. It seems like it's been quiet today. No new hints or clues. Has Nantimi been deterred from all this negativity? Maybe this is what Donan was referring to when he said Play Nice. Or maybe even elaborate coaster puzzle-makers take off on the weekends. Either way, anyone want to discuss their final guesses as to what the ride is going to be? Just trying to get this topic back on track.
  2. If it were real, then Hershey would have no reason to shut them down, so long as they had permission, right? I would think that Hershey would only shut them down for pretending to be real, like you suggest they are. Sure, there's still the change that this whole thing is one huge elaborate hoax, but I would think that if that were the case, Hershey would have done something about it by now. Plus, didn't Nantimi declare the new announcement date before Hershey did? I think that there's a lot more evidence supporting the theory that Hershey IS Nantimi rather than Nantimi being entirely bogus. Eh, who knows. *shrugs* We'll find out in a few days either way. For now, I'm just having fun. 8)
  3. ^^ The video did make its way around to a few other coaster sites, and I think homer was behind all of its postings. As to why they sent it to you specifically, I dunno. But they picked you out of everyone else, so go ahead and enjoy it. You must have done something to get their attention.
  4. Not a huge fan of Rock'n'Roller Coaster, only because after the launch, the rest of the ride really just dies. If you take away the music, it's easily one of the 10 most boring major coasters out there (IMHO, of course). Space Mountain is the one I'd go with. It's a classic. Plus, with it being so dark and so tightly laid out, there's a fantastic element of surprise that's hard to beat.
  5. ^^Not that I say I believe him, but if he good enough to create a "passable" fake piece from scratch like that, how could he possibly screw up something as simple as the image size? Come on, hpfan...you're not that dense, are you?
  6. Maybe he's saying he never communicated with our Homer? Like as in that video Homer sent out? Haha, yes. I'm thinking that's the real meaning, too. Like I said, hpfan's piece was smaller than the others, so I had to stretch it out a bit. That's probably the cause of the distortion, though I don't know why it came like that.
  7. I think we can narrow it down to one of these then: baseball, the Illiad, or the Simpsons. But no communication, eh? Well, I guess there go three of my favorite things in life. 100th post, folks. Lookatmego. EDIT: added the updated puzzle
  8. If there was even a shed of a doubt in anyone's mind about a vertical lift, this should definitely erase it. Unless, of course, you're still skeptical about the entire Nantimi website, in which case I feel sorry for your poor, unbelieving soul. O ye of little faith.
  9. Congratulations, Mr. Centerpiece. I can make out "...0 9 2 6 Only those who..."
  10. ^^Uhhh, yeah...*squints eyes skeptically*
  11. Yeah, THAT I have no idea. These clues seem to be getting overly cryptic. Are we even sure that the blog is real?
  12. ^^ Maybe. I think it was taken from the Prudential Tower. But I dunno. I could be wrong. I've never been to Boston, so I don't know where the buildings are positioned in relation to one another. EDIT: I've been corrected: "The photo was taken from the roof of some building on the south side of Huntington Avenue, near but not inside the Prudential Center. You are looking southwest." EDIT: "I think it was taken from the Hood Blimp" (side note: Boston enthusiasts seem to have just as much time on their hands as roller coaster enthusiasts.)
  13. Actually, that picture is a mirror image. Why in the world would they do that? Are they really just going to do a mirror image of Maverick or something? I don't know what else the significance of flipping the picture would be.
  14. I've been told that that building is the Christian Science Administration Building. So, I think what we have on our hands now is a good ol' fashion Jesus Coaster.
  15. ^^ Maybe there are already two smaller versions of this coaster out there, and this is going to be a larger "parent" version. Then again, I once majored in How to Read Too Much Into Things.
  16. ^ She pissed off their "clients," that's what. Probably by making a fake video and sending out a fake puzzle pieces.
  17. No man...this video is teh truth. The internet cannot lie. 8) But Nantimi, oh Nantimi, where are the other 9 pieces? You have me devoted now, and I need this puzzle completed in order to complete me. Overkill? Yeah...I think so.
  18. ^ I was wondering why I didn't get it either, but I didn't want to sound stuck up, like I expect to be included in all the inside stuff all the time. Heh.
  19. Hah, I had to do the same thing. Only, two or three people beat me, so I just added the quote. Too many ^s can be confusing. I don't think it's going to launch - my money is 100% on a vertical lift though. I also and putting money on a more than vertical drop. -Natalie "I like to edit ALL of my posts" Visage
  20. I've been following other forums pretty closely, so unless the other 8 pieces have all come in within the last hour, I don't think it's solved...*shrugs*
  21. I also don't get why they would send out the video when the puzzle isn't even complete. I mean, if the video is legit, wouldn't showing the coaster in video form kind of defeat the purpose of trying to figure out still coaster pictures? Unless the entire purpose of the puzzle is that line of words that run through the middle. Come on, Nantimi. Don't stretch yourself so thin.
  22. That thing looked REALLY tall. It could just be a distorted perspective or something due to the fact that it's a computer animation rather than real-life, but still.
  23. ^The DD castle could always be turned into Durmstrang.
