George and his partner Kenny Goss spend most of their time in the US and Europe I think (probably where Kenny is now), as far as I know they haven't married and don't have plans to, unless they're keeping it quiet. But I'm not sure if Kenny is a UK citizen or not, and I'm not sure whether that would make it more complicated. '98?! It was that long ago?! That makes me feel old, I thought it was only three or four years ago!

Change "boobs" to, umm, "sense of humour", (?! ) and I'll take one of those please!!

^ You seem to be fairly intelligent Ryan, you'll be fine. Honestly, I did NO revision for my KS3s and I sailed through, and supposedly they're a little easier now. Don't get too stressed about them, they don't matter too much anyhow, it's the GCSEs that are important, and if these exams decide your sets for next year... They'll move you up if you end up too low. Good luck!

Well, it could be worse. I'm not sure I could cope with another incident like 2001 or whenever it was. Stop doing this to me George!

I'd like to echo my annoyance at dumb posts. And also add... LOL!!

Aww, I remember the days when 33 hours without sleep would tire me out. There are a few people here who will vouch for the fact that I sleep very little these days. Insomnia sucks, don't do it intentionally unless you have something fun to be doing while awake!

Guess How Much Change is in our Coke Bottle!

Congrats Robin! Y'know, in all the time I spent in the US as a kid, I don't think I ever saw a dollar coin. Are they pretty rare? I notice you only have two of them there Elissa, wondering whether that's because you don't see them much or just because you were only putting the smaller change into the bottle. -
I'm sure I'm being predictable here but... I object!!

Sometimes the traumatic nature of a situation can cause us to panic and feel anxious. At times like these it is common for such trivial matters as grammar to be thrown out the window temporarily. I'm sure once this frightening concept goes away Wes's skills will be restored. -
donkey or jackass
Louise replied to tiredoldspook's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ That would be question number two. Question number one would be, "does anybody here have donkeys?". -
Robb, there's two fairs happening nearby when you are next around. One is on the other side of Manchester in Heaton Park, the other is out at Warrington just before you get to IKEA, and about 5 minutes from Gullivers Warrington. Heaton Park, Heaton Park!! That's gotta be what, less than five miles from Uni? Too convenient to miss out on, we should totally do it. I'm part of the Blackley crew, we're safe over there!

^ Ugh, kinda glad I stayed home today. Oxford Road drives me insane, it's bad enough around there as it is but if there's a jam anywhere within about a twenty mile radius, it gets about ten times worse.

Wythenshawe Park... After dark... With a perfectly stealable car and camera?!?! ARE YOU INSANE?!?! Glad you made it out alive.

^ Wait, your last name isn't Eal?

My family actually started my theme park interest as a kid, my parents and particularly my brother used to take me to Alton Towers, and the Florida parks when we were over there, and we're all pretty much adrenaline junkies in one way or another. Well, we used to be, my dad thinks he's too old for all that kinda stuff now, and unfortunately my mum has a back injury which means she really can't ride coasters these days, too risky. Having said that though, they find it very odd that I would want to travel to visit parks. My friends are the same way, which is one of the reasons why I haven't visited many of the further afield British parks. They're all for dropping by a park or two while on holiday if we're near them, but won't travel with that specific purpose. Ted's golf analogy is great, especially since my dad is a serious golfer, and has travelled for his hobby, I'll be sure to use that one in the future. -
Look at my age :'> According to your profile you won't be born until you get to the UK in June, so I really don't think you should be drinking.

Great pics, and captions. Looks like you guys had fun on your little private getaway, you need to do some secret international trips so the likes of myself and Soren actually have a chance of guessing where you are! Oh, and: "What do you think that weird chick and the fatman are doing?" "I dunno, but the fatman has a fork and a knife and the chick has a net." "I think it's best if we get the hell outta here!" "Good idea!!!!" LOL!!
