I always enjoy pics from the 70's and the early 80's and this was neat to see. Coaster05 might like this one. Can understand his point of view a bit more seeing these pictures. Somewhere I read Maverick replaced a log flume in the area next to Thunder Canyon. Looking forward to more of your collection.

That sounds great (that is, if I'm not crashing the party here). I could do something like that or a lessor version starting the middle or end of June. Have a biz travel and wedding in may, so there go my trip funds for the short term. The water rides should be open by then around SFoG and White Water, as should Splash Valley. I've never hit the Chattanooga Aquarium or any of that city's offerings either. EDIT: Post #1000....you poor people....

Swimace, Is this the artwork you're talking about? Can't remember where I got these, but credit to the original artists, sources, alien overlords, etc. New trains. Since we're coasting down memory lane...Old trains. Almost nice enough to frame, eh? Here's some of Griffon's concept art for comparison too.

The few vegans and veggitarians I've met were cool. I respected them for being dedicated to their beliefs and choices. They in turn were respectful of my own beliefs and choices. Nice folks and nothing to dislike.

Can much appreciate everybody in the list, but Big Bad Moon, Satch Boogie, and Summer Song are some of my faves. No Angus Young, Gary Hoey, Steve Vai, Ted Nugent, Eric Johnson, Zack Wylde, Jim Burton, or Dimebag Darrell? No Randy Rhoads?!

Was wondering the same thing. Variation on the "lazy L" shapes conduit seen on Griffon, but built into the wing tips? Even if the concept art isn't official, this is still an exciting theme. Looking forward to the official announcement and completion in 2009.

Midnight Rider is the slower of the two, but either song seems to fit. I dig the Eagles more in this case, but I see your point. Bottom line, was it a fun ride? It seemed so.

I don't even know where to start... Car B Q's, hookers, hot tubs, mini golf, pinball...the entertainment knows no bounds. This just get's better and better.

^Earlier on in this thread there have been other hints that support a B&M Flyer coaster. Plus, Johnny Upsidedown has been in the biz for some time and knows his stuff. Hope that helps some.

Flying Dive Machine you say? Awesome! It'll be another eye-catcher like Grif and Sheik. SeaWorld is really adding some cool stuff of late.

You know, that Eagles re-theme may be a decent fit after all. While the song is called "Life in the Fast Line", it really just has a slow, easy, chugging groove to it. That tempo seems to pace pretty well with the coaster. Naturally, the real proof is in the ride, not the onride video.

Glad you posted this TR. Love the themeing around Zep, trains and all. Really, a good looking coaster. Well done.

Awesome! Interesting that more cameras are going to SD cards vs. built in hard drives. Wish we had that at work. We're still using tapes and capturing the segments through Premiere. Tough when your camcorder at home works with SD and you just drag the files over from the card reader. While this topic might seem a bit dry, it really did teach me a few things, particularly about the higher end gear. Glad you included this part. It really was a help.
