Great update. A good name might be "The Slide Ride" or if you want an European name maybe, "Der Ruschweg" --James -
Brazilian SLC Construction
Team Thriller replied to LuccasCBMR's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Thanks. If I'm ever in Brazil, I'll tell you. But your right, the SLC already looks fantasic, I don't think they really need those new trains. Maybe after a few years if the ride ever gets bad, then they might want to. --James -
Brazilian SLC Construction
Team Thriller replied to LuccasCBMR's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This has to be the coolest SLC on earth. The station, colors, the name. I cannot wait to see how this coaster runs. I wonder if they will ever put the new trains like the one's on Great Nor' Easter. This park looks very nice and clean, well themed, and even looks like it has a good collection of rides. --James "Maybe Brazil is my next target" Flint -

The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
Team Thriller replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey all, According to http://rcdb.com/id4075.htm, Hansa Park which is located in Northern Germany is getting a new coaster. As there aren't really any info yet on it, it does say there will be 2 cars per train. Riders are arranged 4 across in a single row for a total of 8 riders per train. To me, this sounds like Euro Fighters trains. But who cares, the park needs a new coaster, even if it isn't a Euro Fighter. I think this is a good move for the park. Idea's, thoughts, info? Here is a TR from Hansa Park: http://www.themeparkreview.com/europe2005/hansapark/hansapark1.htm --James -
Europa Park Discussion Thread

^^ As I'm not sure the exact opening date. One thing Europa Park does incredibly well is to open the rides on time. I would bet a Lobster Dinner that Europa Park's new coaster will be open at the beginning of the next season, if not, very shortly after. Here is many new (And some old) facts: Capacity: 1720 riders per hour Length: 3464' 7" Height: 124' 8" Inversions: 4 Speed: 62.1 mph Duration: 2:30 G-Force: 3.8 Max Acceleration: 0 − 62.1 mph in 2.5 seconds Elements: 105' tall Loop Trains: 20 passengers per train. 20 passengers per car. That is the same as the many other Intanim launching coasters with the exception of Dragster and Kingda Ka. (Which only seat 18) So hopefully, the loading will be as fast, if not faster then Desert Race's. --James -

Here is a video which includes the layout, but you have to pause it at 20 seconds. It's in German, though. But they have nice clips. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2FeTNwRVqGw&feature=related --James -

That looks like the Crystal Beach Cyclone did in someway. Looks intense, fast, and unique. Looks kinda short, but still can't wait to see what happens. Is the lift hill going to really be that steep? And I hope the station will have more theming then that. But without doubt, I'm very excited for this. Looks awesome! --James

^^ Pegasus went up very fast also. I remember I was surprised how amazingly smooth is was and still is. Even Eurosat still is smooth. (The sudden movements make it seem rough, but the ride itself is still smooth) Sunday I will be visiting the park, and I can't wait to see this new coaster up close. --James -

Eating and coasters

I have never never ever been sick on ride with/ or without food. But for some reason, I can get sick on an airplane with mike products. Kinda weird because some of the rides here in the fairs are much more intense and crazy than an airplane. --James
