  1. I'm pretty sure my list of missed roller coasters surpasses my list of roller coasters I've been on. I don't even want to attempt to write them all down. I just know at some places, I was still afraid of heights or too small when I visited, so I didn't get to go on.
  2. I think that photo was about Underwater Adventure, which meant Mall of America. MOA/Nick Universe makes sense, because of the dirty snow photo (there's a lot of that & snow in general still here in MN). Also, the metal wall, I think, is in the line for Spongebob, because I was leaning against it when I was there last. And behind the foliage in that one photo, Avatar was kind of hidden. I have no idea for the next location. Is it Chicago? Chicago's not too far from MN, and Michael Jordan was #23 and he used to be on the Chicago Bulls when he played. Those are my guesses.
  3. In Minnesota, we can get tornadoes a lot during the spring and summer months. It isn't uncommon to have your whole night of TV watching ruined because of severe weather watches and warnings. I remember a couple years back in sixth grade (maybe seventh grade, I'm not sure) on mother's day, the northwestern suburbs of the Twin Cities (where I live) almost got hit by a tornado. It was pretty freaky, because the sky turned really green and it was really severe weather. And then 10 years ago, 14 tornadoes hit southern and central Minnesota in one storm. I don't remember much about the storm (I was only five), but I did find a website with some good information: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/mpx/?n=1998mar29 Personally, though, tornadoes freak me out. I hate severe weather, and pretty much follow one of my family members around during the duration of a storm.

  12. Both. I just started this year, But I'm pretty good at skiing, And next year, I'm going to take some more snowboarding lessons, So, I'm counting myself for both. Oh, and since I've just started this year, I'm not the best. But I know how to get myself down a hill at an immensely slow speed.
  13. I haven't posted much on the forums, but I've been looking at the main page a lot since I first saw this site. 1. What do you find most useful about the front page? -the fact that it shows all the updates and the best photo TRs from the forum 2. What do you find least useful about the front page? -search button. 3. Is anything on the front page confusing? -no, it's simple to navigate 4. How far do you scroll down the front page looking for updates? -all the way down, I like rereading past updates that I liked. 5. How often do you look at the front page? -Everytime I come to the site... (it's the page I bookmarked) 6. How often do you click on the "whatsnew" link? -I'll be honest. I've clicked on it twice, and both times were on accident. 7. What would you like to see added to the front page to make your visits to TPR better? -No. I like it the way it is. 8. Anything else you would like to mention? Like any thing else you would like to see us add/change/leave alone/etc? -Keep the forum updates like it is, please. I really like that feature, especially since those are always "high-quality" for trip reports. Hope that helped.
  14. I probably have some good stories. I had some nice childhood memories. Here's two I can think of. I was like five years old and I was playing with my Barbies in the playroom in our house, and my mom was vacuuming the rest of the house. Anyways, I was going to change the Barbie's outfit and I decided that her current outfit was dirty. At this time, my mom had left the vacuum unattended and plugged in (which was a big mistake on her behalf). Anyways, I left the playroom and lifted the vacuum up and placed my Barbie's outfit underneath it (it wasn't a heavy vacuum). I pressed the button to start the vacuum, and the Barbie dress went into the vacuum. My mom had to take apart the vacuum to get the dress out. Oh, and this happened more than once. This happened on several other occasions. Um, another story: We had a home office so my mom could work at home so she could take care of me. Anyways, I'd go in there to play "office." I'd scribble on papers as documents and then staple them together. Anyways, I went to staple some sheets together, and well, I put my hand in too far into the area where the staples shoot out. Long story short, I ended up stapling my hand instead of the papers. I have a lot of other stories (like how I ruined my baby book and how I got ran over by a bike), but I'll save those for another time.
  15. That isn't the only food court at MOA, though. They still have the other ones that do sell fast food, so if you really want fast food, there's still the other food courts to go to. I'm excited for the new food court. (BTW, I'm a Minnesotan and the only lumberjack I've ever seen is the Paul Bunyan statue on the Log Chute.)
  16. This one time, I went sledding at my friend's house and her hill was next to her driveway, so when they plowed the driveway, it would create a nice starting drop to the hill. Anyways, I grabbed a sled and propped it up on top of the hill and got on, and my friend gave me a push. I started sledding down and I needed the bottom of the hill, I noticed I was getting really close to this large bush. Just before my sled ran over the bush, I bailed, but it was so funny. The bush, however, did not survive. The sled crushed it. And then, another time, another friend and I were sledding at a confirmation retreat, and we asked her dad if there was a jump in our way, and he said no, so we went. Anyways, apparently there was a jump and we (we are both smaller in size) went flying.
