  1. They usually pull out more stuff once the park closes ( about twice as much ) and when they open back up they let loose the fog. So with the fog, scareactors and a lot more stuff than you see during the day, it doesn't look too shabby. After seeing those pics, I think Harvest of the Souls is gonna be my favorite scare zone. The location has a lot of spots for baddies to hide. The pumpkin-skulls remind me of the Field of Screams back in '04 and that was my favorite that year. The pumpkin heads would sit still for a while and people would go up to them and think they weren't real....then bamm!! scare the poop right out of them. The "Deliverance" hillbillies walking around, left me feeling a little un-easy. P All " great pics BTW"
  2. Yes, if you are already in the park and have any kind of HHN tix, you get to stay in the park while they kick out the low-lives This year (on, 9/29) will actually be the first time in 4 years that I will enter through the front gates with the GP Usually I am already in the park, but I have to work, so I will get there at around 7:30. But the other 4 days I'm going, I will be in the park already P All " I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks away "
  3. Well that's kinda what I thought, but given the circumstances of the "game" they played last year, I guess I'm reading too much into it. Plus we can already tell what's gonna be in the event for the most part, can't we?
  4. ^ THX 1138 How's about this: "....If some one don’t like you for who you are, F**k 'um!!.....F**k 'um up against the wall with hand cuffs on and crazy glue their lips!!" That's right
  5. Now I'm really confused, what is going on? Is this another game, or just random crap to give us a preview of what's gonna be there? I mean their pointing out where their houses are (Storyteller) and their shows (Director) and things that are gonne be in some scare zones. But what does it all mean??? The Storyteller's additions are almost as pointless as her. Motorcycles and jack-o-lanterns.....oh my!! I guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks to get to the bottom of this.
  6. It's OK. One of us had to be wrong. I wont hold it against you. Wii can still be friends
  7. ^^ I think I need to see a bigger picture before I can discuss this any further.
  8. ^ I was gonna do that one, but I didn't want to count it all out. Carter (Lois's dad) " you look familiar" the Gardener " I was your gardener for 12 years" Carter " Oh, you look different without my lawn under you" Gardener " I don't take the lawn with me when I go" Carter " Well, I was right to trust you with it then." You forgot to add the second "POUND IT!!" he yells in the megaphone. I thought of you when I saw that.
  9. I'm a little worried, I just watched some videos of the Mii channel on the Wii site. http://www.wii.com/en_US/ When you view them you can see that the Wii-mote is not really aimed where it's pointer is. I heard something like that around E3 time, that you are really aiming the Wii-mote at the sensor bar (when pointing) and not the TV. This seems like what is happening. I don't really think it's a problem for most stuff, but for FPS like Red Steel and Metroid, I think it might. I don't know, I do know I am still getting one, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I can't wait to make my cartoony self on my Wii, he will be pretty lonely in there. P All "very lonely"
  10. What was that price? Mr DragonKhan? $249.99? 8) I was off by a dime Anyway. But no Super Mario Galaxy, or Metroid 'till 2007 And no LoZTP for the Cube, yet, that's even more reason to get a Wii. Here's a little article about Wii channels . http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200609/N06.0914.1021.06322.htm Wiiiiiiiiiii
  11. ^ No idea But Does that mean I win??
  12. ^ Yeah, what he said. One of the good things about going on All Hallow's Eve, is that it's the last night and they (scareactors) pretty much go all out and give great performances. That being said, I would probably get a pass, it should be busy. Although it is a weekday so maybe not so much. You can get a pass when you are in the park, but they might get sold out. Whatever, if your coming from the UK, I would just get the pass, to insure that you get to see all the houses and ride the rides. Then if it's not too busy you have plenty of time for shenanigans!! BTW I think that all of the TPR peeps should have some kind of way to identify other TPR'ers. Like maybe a secret hand shake or some distinctive clothing, maybe a bandana out the left back pocket, or is that the crip side?? I don't know, something, so we know who we are and we can say say "sup" P All "R.I.P. BttF"
  13. Hey!! They put another one of the production die-ries up!! It's about time. Although it's nothing that exciting.
  14. What's he doing? do you think it's another secret game, like last year? My guess so far, is it's just things that are gonna be in the scream house, Rat Lady, Vampyre vampires, ect. not sure what's up with the "heart" of the old scream house? Maybe it will be the same room? who's gonna remember? I don't know, just grasping at straws right now. Did any one else notice that BttF is not listed on the HHN map? I know it's getting the axe but I figured they would leave it for HHN to soak up some of the crowd. Are they using it for a house? any one have a clue?
  15. I'm going on the first weekend too, for the first time, with my FFP, so I don't know if this will work, but. If your in the park for the day, when they close it they'll rope off a section for all who are staying (I'm sure you knew that) as soon as they let us out we go to what ever houses are open first and as soon as we see the general public coming we head to the back of the park, to hit the houses furthest from the entrance, then work around to the front. Since people usually go to the first houses/rides they see, this works out good, for the most part. Last year on a Thursday we had all the houses done by 9:30, leaving the rest of the night for shenanigans!! Although I haven't been on a Friday or Saturday in a while, like 3 years, let alone on the first weekend, so who knows. I do know I aint gettin' no express pass, my trip that weekend and then 2 weeks later are gonna be pricey enough, I just have to risk it. Hope my useless info helps you enjoy the night more, BTW don't let anyone else know my secret "game plan" for HHN, keep it on the DL. P All
  16. ^Ed Wood Here you go: ".....bake all three of their punk-asses and make three-bitch pie!"
  17. You got the new colors already? I haven't had them come in yet, I'm still deciding whether to trade to black or not. My case and all my accessories are white, but they would go with black too, right? Check this out though.... "Hot on the heels of the PlayStation 3 delay in Europe, reports indicate that launch numbers in North America and Europe will be smaller than Sony originally indicated. In North America about 400,000 PS3 units will be available during the November 17th launch, and in Japan, only 100,000 consoles will be available when the system launches on November 11th. Originally Sony planned to have four million PlayStation 3 consoles shipped by the end of the year, and now Sony believes that number will be cut to two million. A problem with the production of the Blu-ray player is the cause for the shortage. "We've been working hard to try to tackle the problem, but we see the delay is inevitable," stated Sony's Kaz Hirai. Mass production of the PS3 is expected to begin at the end of this month." Hah Hah!! You see if they weren't too busy ripping off Nintendo, they could have gotten their sht correct. A problem with the production of the Blu-ray player ?? Isn't the Blu-ray format what they're bankin' on?? They've only been working on it for years, they better get it straight, Mario's commin' for 'em. It's time to poop or get off the pot, yah mean!!
  18. Speaking of fanboys, I think I'm gonna return my white Lite. Then get the black one, if I was a true fanboy I would just buy another one. I want the black one to match my black Wii 8) P All " providing they have the black Wii available at launch"
  19. ^ Thanks. I decided to go again anyway, although I will only be going one night, instead of two. Last year we got there on Friday an hour after the park opened in the A.M. and was able to do all the rides before they closed for HOS. Then at night we where able to get in all the houses before they closed. So I figured I will do the same this year, but only one day/night and with a group of people that has never been to HOS, so it should be fine. I also agree about the houses, last year the HOS houses where better than most of the HHN house, but they couldn't touch the "Body Collectors". Although their scare zones aren't quite HHN caliber yet, maybe this year. P All "C'Mon Friday the 13th!!"
  20. I will admit I am a bit upset about the lack of scare zones around the lake. I've only been to HHN once when it was in USO only, back in '99 and from what I remember the area around Jaws and all the games was a good one. They fogged it all up, some lasers and stuck a bunch of clowns there, very nice. But I guess they don't have any around the lake so you can see the lagoon show without getting the crap scared out of you every 2 minutes. But on that note, I have no doubt that the whole event will kick much ass!! I've been to every HHN from 2002 to now, and so far the first one at IOA (2K2) was my favorite, that's when the Islands of Fear was a fresh idea. The (not so) scare zone in Toon Lagoon with the soap suds, crazy faced clowns and flatulent carnival music has yet to be topped in my book. Although I was a bit trashed, but not too trashed to remember that the Fear Factor house sucked on toast!! as did the Skool last year. But I am looking forward to seeing my old friend the Caretaker, the first Scream house was the only house to date that made me jump, damn that half a corps. I will be there on preview weekend (one of many trips I will make there this year) at the end of the month, with bells on my toes? and rum in my pockets. I can't wait. On a sightly different subject, I am a bit pissed that HOS is almost identical as it was last year 5 of the 6 houses are the same and most of the scare zones are too. I went last year to both and I was pleased with HOS, but I'm not too sure about it this year. I am still gonna go, but only one night, last year I did two. I will be bringing a group of peeps that has never been, so that should make it fun. I hope. But I gotta go get my last Python ride in, I've already got some Tylenol put aside Sorry for the looong post. So yeah, C'Mon 29th P All
  21. Nice TR, but I'm a little upset. Now I have seen 2 of the entrances for houses at HOS and they are the same as last year, same name, location, everything. Last year is the first year I went to HOS and I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the $$ to see the same stuff again. If there is any one who goes to HOS a lot, can you tell me if they do all the same houses or just repeat a few, and will it be the same scare zones too? I want to go, but if it's gonna be all the same I might skip it and just do HHN instead of both. Although if they have the pink headed nurses again, I might reconsider! P All "Not trying to thread-jack you, great pics"
  22. Some info? "We've been hearing rumblings of a Nintendo event in which Nintendo of America's Regginator will be present on September 14th. All we've been told officially is that Reggie will be there, and there will be Wii gameplay, and some big announcements. While Nintendo has been rather secretive about the pricing and release date for Wii, if we're betting men (and we are), this could be the event where Nintendo reveals this information. It goes along with when they'd spill these details, and it's just a week before the Tokyo Game Show - which Nintendo once again isn't attending." Maybe soon we will find out what's going on. I got my Wii $$ ready, I just need to save a little more for some games.
  23. I skipped out on work and had some mutant chicken at KFC. I will gladly take a storm like that over the one's we have had the past 2 years any day! Let's hope for some more like that, for the rest of the season.
  24. Mine worked fine on IE, no stutter, no crop.... Full screen or little was just fine. Nothing but dog flatulence goodness!!
