  5. No love for the DISBoards on TPR then, huh?
  6. A Hell House (or Judgement House).... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_house
  7. It's Halloween time again and as sure a sthe sun will rise, churches will open their "Hell Houses." These houses show the evils of things like premartial sex, AIDS, teen pregnancy, and surfing the DISBoards. They ask us all to repent and convert to their religion. I've always been curious about them. I don't think they will convert me, but I'm curious to see one. Has anyone visited one? How was the experience?

  10. ^^If I was in the house, it would be the coolest house ever! And everyone would be videotaped!
  11. Great photos! 16 people in a 6 bedroom house? Isn't that a fire code violation?
  12. Here's one from IOA Central: http://www.ioacentralboards.com/index.php?showtopic=9653
  13. That's a tough one. Usually, during the first 3 hours of park operation, the lines will be very short (usually 15 minutes or less). You can get most done at the parks within a resonable amount of time. When you cross over to the other park, you might encounter longer lines in the afternoon. The 26th is a Thursday, so I wouldn't expect huge crowds. It wouldn't hurt to buy Express ahead of time, but you can always buy them at the park that day if you need it. For the 26th, it's probably $25-$30 for a 1 day/2 park Express pass. Personally, I would wait and see what the crowds are like during the day before buying Express.

  16. Non-peak nights have been busy too, but I try to avoid HHN on Saturdays at all costs!
  17. Whoo-hoo! I made it on the Japan trip!
  18. The parks are pretty quiet this time of year, although they get busy in the afternoon. BGA is generally pretty quiet during October, unless you visit on a Saturday. I went on a Thursday in October last year and the longest line was for lunch and SheiKra (both 15 minutes).
  19. Crowds have been pretty huge at HHN this year, so Fridays and Saturdays will be busy. Friday might give you an advantage, as in past years the crowds have died down after midnight. On Saturday, crowds have been pretty consistent throughout the night. The best way to do HHN is to do Stay and Scream. If you have a valid day pass for Universal and are in USF before 4:30, you can hang around the special holding areas until the haunted houses are ready. Dungeon of Terror (in the Jaws queue) generally opens first at around 5:45 from what I've heard. The soundstage houses open around 6:15. The Stay and Scream areas are around the Mummy area near Finnegan's and in the Jaws area. The Jaws area tends to let people out first. For HHN, definitely buy Express tickets. Better yet, why not do a VIP tour? You get treated like royality and get straight to the front of the line. You don't even stand in the Express queue!
  20. ^^No, I'm afraid he isn't kidding. HHN crowds this year have bee huge from all the reports I've seen. Wait times of 90-120 minutes are not uncommon. You can still avoid the crowds by doing Stay and Scream and doing the houses early, do Express, or do the RIP tour.
  21. If you wear flip flops on Dueling Dragons, you have to take them off and then hold onto them or sit on them. On Montu, you can put your flip flops in a little box by the exit gates.
  22. ^I have a feeling that we'll see those shirts on eBay on November 1.
  23. I was tempted to sign up as JawsRolaids...
  24. You would be the luckiest person in the world if something wasn't closed at SFMM. However, I did visit SFMM one day where all the coasters were running (except for Flashback, of course).
