I went to Carowinds in April and I had fun! The Super Saturator was down all day due to high winds, but I manage to ride all the coasters before noon on Sunday. I even had a chance to ride some of them a few times! Sunday wasn't too bad. The longest line was for Borg Assimilator, which had an hour long line due to a breakdown. Everything else was 15 minutes or less.

So what is a Quarter Pounder called in a McDonald's in France then? Remember: take a photo! I meant to say Big Mac. My head is fubared from work.

Robb, I love your updates! Those contraptions you use to film onride footage look pretty neat. I got to figure out how to get a helmet like that. I just hold onto my camera for dear life when I do POVs.

I've pronounced SheiKra as "Sherry-ka" until I heard a TV announcer say it right! People prononuce stuff wrong all the time. I know people pronounce Sony product lines wrong all the time. They call "VAIO" in Sony VAIO computers as "veharo" or "V-A-ten." Where did the "R" come from? They pronounce the PDA Clie name as "Click" or "Cliche!" Hey, a penny saved is a penny earned for the Clie!

If this park opens, what else is in Oakland besides the A's?

I've been on the Starliner. When I rode it during the opening hours of the day, the ride was OK, but gave no airtime. 6 hours later I rode it and it gave some airtime and seemed faster in the beginning. Overall, I thought it was an OK coaster. Nothing really bad about it, but nothing really outstanding about it either. I think it'll be a good family coaster. I suppose he took a camera onboard the coaster and filmed the POV? No really...is there a policy that you can't videotape while on coasters at Great Adventure? I looked at a map from this year and I see nothing about no videotaping or picture taking on rides. The only thig I saw was secure loose articles. BTW, after watching all the videos, I'm afraid my video doesn't stand a chance of winning. Oh well, there's always next year. Next year's video will have a winning formula: sex, crazy antics, donkeys, rodents, rodents riding donkeys, and donkeys riding rodents!

I heard from a friend Intamin forced Storm Runner to close due to KK's breakdown, but I haven't found any official confirmation of that yet. I just hope KK is open on July 19, because I was hoping it would be my 300th coaster. If not, I think the alternate #300 will be J2 at Clementon. I can ride a coaster that had a cooler name and meet the Swingman too!

After I rode Goliath, I said, "Eh." I thought it was the most boring hypercoaster I've ever ridden. It is kind of like Titan, but it doesn't have the helix.

With all the SFMM meets this year, I'm sure a SFMM video will make it on this year's video. Videos do take up a lot of space, so you might see more videos of stuff people want to see more, like new coasters or Elissa dancing in a thong.
