  1. I mainly check Facebook & Twitter which usually then leads me to YouTube.
  2. How many DVDs or Blu-Rays do you purchase each year? Well considering I just purchased 5 Blu-Rays in the last 2 weeks, quite a few. How many digital downloads do you purchase each year? The main reason why I buy blu-ray, outside of the quality, is that the majority of the time it includes the digital download version. How do you purchase digital downloads? (iTunes, Stream, etc) - Either from iTunes or the Google Play Store. Do you download directly from iTunes to your device, or iTunes to your computer, and then transfer to your device? I download straight to my computer. Is a 1.5gb - 2 gb file "too big" for you to download to your device? Not at all, especially if the content is worth it.
  3. Blu-Ray all the way. The download version is nice as well, but I also don't like taking up a lot of hard drive space.
  4. Check out the app that touringplans.com has as well. For a small fee you can get optimized touring plans for every day of your trip.
  5. Awesome TR. Reading these makes me miss the coaster expedition series of DVD's.
  6. Yeah I know what you mean, but do you ever give your car friends a blank stare when they talk about gear ratios or other car stuff? I guess I just want them to understand what I'm talking about and not just have it be a one way conversation or worse have them be polite and let me continue to talk until they have absolutely no idea what the original question was.
  7. I'm glad that someone mentioned this. I often don't know where to stop with ride/park info when non-enthusiasts ask me a question about a park or ride. Lately I just give a really short answer so that I can get back to whatever I was doing and not feel that I'm boring them with info that they could care less about.
  8. I'm so excited for this event. I already have a season pass for Hershey and this event makes it that much more awesome. Thank you so much Robb.
  9. I'm on the fence with this one. I would like more releases on blu-ray for the quality and you definitely can see a difference in quality between the two photos that you posted, but I'm not sure that I want to re-purchase the set since I have all of those videos on DVD already. I do like your "quality over quantity" attitude and as always I appreciate the effort. I must admit the bonus disc might push me to purchase the set.
  10. Thank you Robb. I was going to e-mail you and see if this was going to be put to DVD, but this works out even better.
  11. Robb, I'm really glad that you have this thread. I've been debating on which operating system to use for a new custom machine that I'm building and I think I'm going to stick with XP for now.
  12. Actually KD and HP are closer to DC than BG....... Good catch, I think from driving down I-95 as much as I have DC feels a lot closer to Richmond then it is which makes the jump to I-64 seem closer. P.S. HP is only like 30 miles closer than BG to DC.
  13. I would go to Busch Gardens, because of it's closeness to DC and it's overall quality. Hershey is a close second though. I go to Hershey every year and it does have a nice collection of rides.
  14. I also have the Pearl Flip. Have you had any issues with it? My battery went about 1 1/2 years in so did bluetooth, but now I got bluetooth back after buying a new (stated on amazon, but the battery lasts like 12 hours with like 15 minutes talk time) battery.
  15. Wow, thanks for the awesome report. I haven't read the books, but I have seen the movies and from the pictures the new land looks great. I'm hoping that I can make it down this year and check it out.
  16. Have they released a service pack 2 yet? I'm sure when that happens they will have hopefully worked out some bugs.
  17. True, but it seems it's not much better then XP outside of maybe memory restrictions if you run the 64 bit version.
  18. Wow, thanks for posting all of your issues with Windows 7. I was thinking about running Windows 7 on my mac just to mess around with it, but I can totally see how it's not even worth it now.
  19. This blu-ray is fantastic and a first of it's kind. BUY IT TODAY. You will not be disappointed. My wife and I almost got dizzy from the heartline rolls on Flight of the Phoenix.
  20. OMG! I went through that too! I entered the code that was on the actual product, it didn't work, and an hour later having to convince Microsoft that I wasn't using a pirated version of the software they finally gave me a new code. I even went as far as taking a picture of my product packaging with my phone and emailed it to the person I was talking to. Seriously, at this point, if Windows 7 did not handle those .mts files so well, I would be un-installing it and putting XP back on my machine. I will say though, I have only installed Windows 7 on the machines I do HD video editing on, and I have NOT installed it on any other machine because I really do feel that XP is far more stable and if there aren't any features of Windows 7 I would be using on a specific machine, what's the point on installing a less stable operating system? --Robb Wow I can't believe they still haven't fixed that yet. You think they would have learned something from all of the people that like to reformat there systems every year to clean out the windows directory and had to deal with a XP code issue.
  21. Oh sweet! When can we pre-order? Maybe as a perk club TPR members could pre-order sooner?
  22. Hey Robb, Are the blu-ray discs going to be packaged in those cool blue cases? Also, I can't believe they actually bothered to put Groundhog Day on blu-ray.
  23. I can't wait for a Blu-Ray 1080p RAW version that is PS3 compatible. I'd pre-order it now if I could.
