This looks like great fun! Ejector Seats, Twilight, Trench, Explosions, Halo... Love em! Now here are my pieces of art. I can't decide which one is to be THE #1 Entry so... Maybe you can vote on your favourite and the one with most votes becomes my #1. Also, not sure if these are the only ones or if I'm gonna have more ideas and make more pictures... /Edward XPortalRad.wmv Oh, and I just had to play around with my video effects. When Robb first arrived at X2 it had just come through the Portal from the 4D. The radiation from the portal played havoc with Robb's camera and the video was discarded... Until Now! They had a thought of having this thing powered, and look fancy at the same time. But for some strange reason when they tested it, it never returned to the station... *insert mysterious whistling* Hehe. We love explosions. Makes a good trailr... movi.. COASTER! Ever wondered what it would be like to be wanderers in the 4th dimention? Sadly, SF wasn't Brittish enough to use this...

Hi! This is for anyone who may be visiting Sweden and has learnt the basics of Swedish and wish to do some advanced stuff. http://www.slayradio.com/mastering_swedish.php This is also for those who do and don't know Swedish, just so you can listen to the struggling Britt who's trying to learn this stuff and have a laugh. Enjoy! /Edward

Aww.... My video(s) didn't get in. Don't suppose anyone will enlighten me on what I did wrong? I'm guessing one of them didn't get in because I went past the 5min limit, but what about the other one? Anyways, good vids all around. It is late so I won't be doing a list of the best now, but I just wanted to put this question up incase it went missing by mistake. /Edward

My dream last night was a bit of an All-Over-The-Place kinda dream. First I was at some what seemed like a big open display area at some building (cross between mall and school-like place) and there were wild kids running through people that were having a study session on the floor in the middle. Then it changed to some show where there was this large green guy wearing large armor with dark dots all over him. I was thinking that someone was trying to make a Live Rendering of something else ontop of him. He was then showered in lots of little dark beeds and some strange trailer for Spiderman/Venom was happening in the background (yeah, these dark beads kinda reminded me of that dark gue that encompasses people). Next thing I knew I was walking through some kind of town with 2 other random strangers, and we were getting into some strange trouble. Don't remember exactly what, but the other 2 looked disgusted, hurt, and maybe a little out-of-it. We were talking about maybe not going too far so that we could return to the hotel in time. After a while I decided to return and I found Robb and Elissa there. Suddenly my adventure was a TPR trip. Robb asked if I had fun, and I said yes, shook their hands and talked a little about something, I don't know what. All I know is that for some strange reason Robb mentioned that his middle name was Philip. I then noticed that this hotel was by a harbour (hotel to my left, fence and water straight ahead). On the other side of this fence was a small stretch of coaster. Track type like Maurer Söhne X-Car Coaster, and car type was like the Sea Serpent coaster from RCT3 only without the front part. It just went from one end of the "pier" to some Dinner Serving Place (where I was too have my dinner before bed) behind the hotel, and going up and down along the fence. I was about to get a credit on it but then I woke up. /Edward

This one looks like Robb is missing something or someone... "Hey, I was sure Elissa was sitting right next to me... At least, I was sure for the first 5 drops.. " /Edward -
Hi! I've been to Liseberg and the "mandetory" thing to do who will go there at least 3-4 times is to get one of these entry cards either Lisebergs Årskort (free entry for the Summer and Christmas season of the year you bout it) or Guldpasset (free entry and riding for the Summer and Christmas season). These cards also come with some bonuses, like rebates to some travel agencies and restraunts and such in (or near) Gothenburg, and also free Entry and Riding to 4 other parks in Europe! Last year I got this Årskort for free entry to Liseberg (bought tickets seperately) and it said that with this card I could get free entry and riding in 4 of Europe's best Theme Parks. Can't remember which ones they were, but it was one in Germany (Holiday I think) and Spain (maybe Madrid). Can't remember the rest. This year I got a Goldpass (because I calculated what I did last year and what I would probably do this year and it looked like it was worth the money), and the bonuses are that I get Free Entry And Riding in the following parks: Isla Mágica (Isla de la Cartuja, Sevilla, Spain), Europa-Park (Rust / Baden, Germany), Efteling (Kaatsheuvel, Holland), PortAventura (Vila-seca, Tarragona, Spain). Now, the point/question I'm getting to (and only today I think of it) is that would I get a rebate on a TPR trip if I had one of these cards? If I understand correctly, the $2000+ goes to a number of things including the Entrance fee and Riding tickets/passes. If some people could get in for free because they got hold of specials, would that mean the price could be reduced (for that single person or in general)? I know the Europe trip is now closed, but I thought I'd ask. Might take advantage of that for next year or something silly like that. Also, it seems like the list of free parks for these cards change some each year so it might be hard to plan some of it. Maybe if it is possible to predict which parks will be available for these cards, you could plan the Europe trip to include these 4 so that people (like myself) can go on a nice rebate. /Edward

I've just ridden my FIRST INVERSION!
Edward replied to Edward's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That "turn-over" is actually the sharpest transition I've ever experienced on a coaster. I think you'd do fine on Vekomas. Well, from what I've heard, Vekomas are all the time OuchOuchOuchOuch. This was one snap in the whole track. Though at one point during the twist my shoulders ached quite a bit. Maybe I'm just on the computer too much, and I had a backpack with stuff in it. /Edward PS. Just remembered another looping coaster that is closer to here. The Demon at Tivoli Gardens. ... If only I had the money... -
Hi! Exciting news! Before I was scared of Inversions. But after today I think I can stand some more inversions! I did it! I conquered my fear and I rode The Canon (KANONEN) at Liseberg! But before I tell you all about it, I'm gonna do a bit of a TR of the new year for Liseberg. Well, trip report and trip report... Does a 20 minute trip across town count? It was close that I didn't go because the weather kinda turned. Thursday it was sunny (), then Friday had high-fog (or haze) yet bright (), and then today was... grey. Well, that's April for you. Anyways, the new things that I saw was the Evert Taubes Värld (Evert Taube's World) which was a walkthrough attraction (with tour guide) of a man who sailed around the world and sang songs and made poems of his experiences, and this strange kiddy thing that is like aeroplains only you have to cycle to get up. Sorry, not much photo taking because my batteries died after the little snippit I did on the Evert building (stupid rechargables). Also, on Balder I noticed that there were 2 new emergency exits built onto the construction. One on the second turn-around (after first drop) and one at the bottom of... Darn, can't remember which "valley", but it was a deep one. (Oh, and while riding, I finally spotted that house where you got the beer from. ) Apart from that, everything seemed pretty much the same. Oh and Lisebergbanan was having problems. At least 3 times I think. I went there and it was closed. Then another time I went just as I was about to board they said there was a problem (and I saw it on the restraints getting stuck closed), and one other time I passed by and it was closed (still, I don't know). But who can blaim it. It is over 20 years old. Worst case scenario is that it will be removed soon. Anyways, onto my fun ride report on The Canon! My first Accelerator and Inversions! I mustered up all my courage and put myself in the 5 minute line. ... Nervous as hell! And it grew as I was waiting, and getting closer. The thumping made it worse. I finally sat myself down and was all like "OcrapOcrapOcrapOcrapOcrapOcrapOcrapOcrap. What have I gotten myself into?" The rest is a nice Picture Story Board.... BalderPorn.20080426.zip And for you guys who like Woody Porn. (Larger picture of Windows included) Oh, and last time I went on Lisebergbanan I saw the Queue Time Monitor rebooting, and I was like "LOL! That's XP! No wonder they are having problems!" I did feel the Earth Gs on this twist. This one kinda inverted my stomache. :S But all in all, I found it quite fun! I went on it 4 times (including first time, but not in a row), and at each time I had a bit of a different experience. At one point the restraint or I went in some strange way so that my shoulders were pressed down. Another point my stomache was more squished than my first time. But fun nontheless. So, what next for me... Nemesis? This "turn-over" was quite sharp. I got a bit of a neck ache from the laterals... If this was a bit too much for me, I don't think I'd like to know Vekoma. When I came to the loop I was expecting to be pressed onto my shoulders, but surprising enough it was quite comfortable. That curve up the hill was quite forcefull. Enough Gs to push the restraint just that extra more on my stomache so I was a little squished throughout the ride (and I'm rather thin). Even if I counted the thumps to prepare myself, it still got me. Was quite an experience as well (as were the other inversions). Oh crap... I think I lost my own Thump-Thump. :S EvertTaube.wmv Edit: Forgetting that quick snippit of Evert Taube's World. Very tired seeing as I wanted to get this report done tonight from 9PM to 2AM. :S

The last ride of your life.
Edward replied to HHN Dylan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Heck, if I'm gonna die tomorrow, why wait that day? I'd just pick the extremest thing and say "Been Nice Knowing You!" But actually, since this is tomorrow, and I get the news in good time, I'd spend the whole day going on any ride I haven't wanted to go on because of fear (including non-coaster rides). -
I like the strategy of first the filming, then the music. For one, when I do film something I'm not going by music and just filming. For the other, when it comes time to make some montage (whether by contest or just because I got inspiration by music), then I've got all the footage I need from my 15-30 minutes of footage from every time I went. Heck, maybe by the end of someone's life they'd have enough footage to be able to build a full 3D environment of a park or something. /Edward

There should be something among your controls that says Select Range, Cut, Crop, Mark Start/End or even a scissors icon. /Edward

Aw, I didn't get into the top 5... These look good, but I'm not very good at making reviews. I think I'll wait until they are all out and make a list of the top 30. Btw, Robb. When/if you post mine, could you leave out my sirname (so it's just edward_liseberg or somesuch)? /Edward PS. It seems like every time Robb posts, I'm no longer watching a topic. Especially the major topics like TRs or such.

Food Rollercoaster at a German restaurant
Edward replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Heh, neat! Reminds me of Chitti Chitti Bang Bang, apart from that the food isn't cooked by a Rube Goldberg machine. -
List the parks you have visited in 2008
Edward replied to Groteslurf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um... Shouldn't one of these things come at the END of the year? -
Well, since you brought this thing back up, I guess I'll just have to show my One-man, Front-row, Take-over. Ok, so my other me went a little nuts. :S

My goodness. Now I want to make a picture in that style. Heh, playing UT3 on a laptop during this... On a PS2 Pad! Or trying to build the Rollercoaster in NoLimits as you ride it. Either way, I don't think I'm gonna have a prop on the ride, sorry. Maybe CG it. Was thinking of making some absolutely mad clip of someone eating a Kebab Roll on a mad coaster. /Edward

1: Tells me some interesting stuff about TPR. Especially good PTRs that I may pass as I browse the main forums. 2: That the Special Features hasn't changed much... 3: Not really. Only on the TPR Massive PTR pages where I get a little confused as on which page I was browsing at the time. 4: Sometimes to the bottom when I haven't looked at it in a very long while. But since I'm looking at it a little more frequently I don't have to go far before seeing familliar pictures. 5: More frequently nowadays (once a week or so). 6: Not at all. 7: New Videos from Exclusive and Amatures forums. 8: So far seems ok. Just the New Videos column. /Edward

Heh. Nice. And I who just watched The Accidental Golfer. Maybe the Golf course might not be so [fake]. Could be fun to host a Golf tournament at some points, but then the guests can't ride anything. They'll have to stay in the back until it comes to the putting. Also, maybe just for spice have the rides run (without people of course) so that when someone hits and hoped they were aiming right, a coaster comes in the way and picks up the ball, or the arm of some other ride gets in the way. Fair way? Nah... FUN (un)fair way! Oh, and maybe some houses for sports training (e.g. Vardon Machines training Golfers). /Edward - The guy who can think well outside the box. How to get there, well that's a different matter.

Still the same. Also, the weekly calendar that is always ontop of the forums (just under title banner and links) is messed up. I have to scroll down a ways before I get to the forum stuff. Having a closer look at this it seems like the topic Hard Rock Park Sneak Peek spans out until 14th of April, and the calendar is still in disarray for the rest of the month. When clicking on May it is back to normal.

Night of the Nearly Dead? My friends sometimes think of silly things. The scariest movie about: Night/Return of the Dead. It's parody: [see above]... /Edward

Sounds like fun, but I know of something a little more exciting. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=139&t=180386 colt_FXWARS_rc_640.zip Links on that site are out of order. Luckily, I saved this MOV.

Hi! There seems to be a problem with the Calendar. As of 14th of march, the calendar seems to unravle, displaying things like Views:470 Replies:0 ', event.pageX, event.PageY);" etc, etc, etc. I've posted a picture of what I get on my browser. What seems to be the problem? I'm using Windows 2000 with Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.12. /Edward PS. I hope this is the right place to Ask for tech support.
